They made me sign a contract for service for the year last year (2012) and that went ok, they showed up when they said they would, did a good job. However, they did run over a pvc pipe with their lawn mower/trimmer and did not notify us (bad move), when we called them on it they had someone out same day to fix (good.) This year (2013), I have tried getting a quote for them to pull weeds in our flower beds, trim some bushes, etc and NO ONE has called me back or emailed me back yet. I called 5/31 ad sent emails on 6/10 and 6/18. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Not professional at all. Their lack of responsiveness is disturbing and once my contract runs out this year, I will not renew for 2014.

Although we retain our employees very well, oddly enough two of our key office staff employees moved out of state during this timeframe and we did experience a few hiccups through the transition. As a rule of thumb and if necessary after speaking with our office staff, we contact our customers within 48 hours of the initial phone call. We have since talked to this customer about the situation and are happy to say, she’s still our customer! When I signed up for their services, they said they would do the landscape work towards the end of April. They finally showed up towards the end of June. They laid new sod of which about half is now dead. I had to call them to tell them about the sod. Yet they have someone at our home every week to cut the grass and that person should have noticed the problem at the outset so they could be proactive to manage it. By the time I called, it was too late. I hired them to manage my lawn and keep it healthy, they failed. I would never use them again.

We agree this service could have been handled better. Our business is directly linked to weather and as with any landscape company, unfavorable weather not only sets us back, it also creates difficult conditions for plant development. Although one of our mow crews was on this property weekly, they are not always familiar with all of the landscape work being handled by our construction division or the agreement/communication between that division and the customer. Our sod was installed during unseasonably hot weather on a south facing slope and it didn’t fare well at all. We tried to remedy this situation by overseeding the entire lawn at no additional charge to the customer. We were recently alerted to the existence of this post and have called the customer to see what we can do repair the relationship and/or the lawn. Honesty and high quality service is very important to our company and we understand that unresolved issues such as this require action. I called for the appointment and the receptionist was pleasant and scheduled me for the next available appointment, which was later that same week. The technician arrived exactly as scheduled, let me know he was there, and then proceeded to winterize my sprinkler system. He was fast and efficient. He was polite and let me know when he was done. The whole process was smooth and quick and the price was what I expected

The job was very nicely done. They are local and friendly. I found that they were extremely easy to work with. I didn't get too many quotes on the job.
Description of Work: We had been having challenges with water. What we wanted to do was raise up the garden area. They also put in additional landscaping and brickwork.

Terrible service! Workers did not show up when they were supposed to. The work took 2 months longer than estimated and had to call everytime for them to come and fix their mistakes. Awful experience and would never deal with them again, not punctual at all, unprofessional and the quality of service was unacceptable. The prices that they charge are much higher than any comparable landscaping service, and they are not worth it.
