The crew were prompt, hard-working, and very neat. They finished the job over two days, including carefully placing and planting all specimens, mulching, sodding, and watering. When they were done, the area looked fabulous and as if the new greenery had been in place for years. The owner worked with the crew and saw to all details. Two days later, he came to our home and gave us the final invoice (50%) and written advice on maintenance (watering, fertilizing, pruning, weed abatement, etc.).
Description of Work: We installed an in-ground pool in 2013 and had fencing, retaining wall, and pool equipment shed built. We secured a landscape design from an architect and wanted a company to implement the plan Jayhawk was recommended by the local branch of the K-State extension service. They surveyed the area to be landscaped, took photos, studied the architect's drawings, and came up with a proposal including labor and a detailed inventory of plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, sod, and treatment chemicals. We made a few adjustments and signed a contract for services, paying 50% down. Jayhawk was thwarted by adverse weather for most of June, but came on site as soon as conditions allowed and completed all work as agreed in a most efficient manner.
