I purchased the $150 gutter cleaning deal. However, when the company arrived to do the work, they told me that it would cost more (as much as $100 more) because the gutters were too dirty, stating they hadn't been cleaned in years. (For reference, we had them cleaned the previous fall, also through an Angie's List deal with a different company.) Since the purchased deal makes no mention of discretionary surcharges based on how difficult they believe the job will be, and the whole point of Angie's List deals is to have upfront pricing you don't need to negotiate, I was uncomfortable with this situation and declined to have the work done. The company agreed to stop work and refund the deal. While I am glad they offered to do that, it was still an unsatisfactory experience to have them unexpectedly increase the cost on the day-of and not honor the deal they were advertising. I had to get on the phone with the owner and make the decision under pressure, which is not what the Angie's List deal, with inline purchasing and scheduling, is about. I would not go so far as to call this intentionally deceptive, but it was not appreciated nonetheless.

I have used Window Genie for several years, always with excellent workmanship. This experience was completely different. A two person team was sent and apparently they did not communicate well. At least SEVEN exterior windows and 13 interior windows were missed resulting in two call backs. The 2nd call back has yet to be completed and the owner is supposed to be here next week to correct the issues. Additionally, some of the windows that were cleaned, were not done well with streaks that show up in the morning sun in my kitchen!!! This is a completely unacceptable level of service. I paid them $241 for a job that has only been partially completed and what was done was not done well.

The window washers arrived slightly late. The window washing was fine, however, they destroyed two plants in the front of the house during the process. Never have I had any plants completely damaged when having work done to the exterior of the house. They didn't have the curtesy to inform me. When I contacted the office to inform them, the officer manager apologize but the owners did not bother to respond.

Employee was punctual. He worked continuously. The only problem was his power washing equipment was not functioning properly. It was leaking considerably which I think resulted in loss or pressure and extended the acount of time needed. He did a good job despite the equipment problem. I would hire again provided the serivice maintains their equipment. Employee was courteous.

We had used Window Genie 2 years ago and went back to them again based on the good job that they did in 2015. The fascinating fact was that the charge to clean all of our windows, inside and outside, was exactly the same this year as it was 2 years ago. We also asked them to clean two skylights and a very intricate entry chandelier with many glass panels (over the staircase in the entryway) which they did that for an additional $45 which we thought was fair. They came when they said they would and completed the large job with minimal interference with our daily schedules. The workers were quite congenial and the windows looked amazing after they were done. We will use them again, hopefully we won't wait 2 years next time.

These guys were really great. They had all the right equipment, great skills and worked really hard. At the end, all my windows and screens were perfectly clean.

They arrived on time and took care of all of my windows within 60 minutes.

I have never had this type of service done before so I had an expectation in my mind as to what it would entail. Our house faces North and the North and East sides had a lot of the dark green algae on them and we were tired of looking at it. I shopped around and got some other quotes but saw the offer on Angie's List and bought it. Scott (the owner) called me right away and got us on the schedule and that part was very easy as we didn't have to be home for the service to happen. The technician was on time and started working right away. This was a two step process in that they apply a solution to the house to "loosen" the dirt and algae and then power wash the house. I was stunned when I got home when I saw how great the house looked! Not only were the dark, algae spots gone but I had no idea how dirty the house was (we bought it three years ago) and it looked brand new. The tech left no mess and was mindful of my flowers and beds. Overall, the communication and service work were excellent and I would absolutely hire (and plan to soon) Window Genie of Indianapolis North again. Do yourself a favor, call Scott and his Team, you won't be disappointed.
