Perkins Landscaping

Design presentation and negotiation went well and we decided on a design for the front and back yards. We did the front yard one year and the back yard followed following the completion of our deck restoration by another contractor (me). Last sprint the back yard was done. Then we both worked hard all summer to keep everything watered during a harsh summer. This spring Perkins just completed the spring cleaning, mulching and planted flowers. A dream came true!

The service turned out great. I am very pleased with the landscaping. The plants look excellent and they cleaned up after themselves, their was no mess. They were very professional to work with.

This work was based on a plan developed by Perkins' landscape architect to finish front yard landscaping. I was disappointed in the quality of the work as the two sets of three bushes and the liriope were not spaced evenly. The crew finished their work and left without notification; a simple check after completion of the work was probably warranted. (I moved some of the liriope plants myself and am assuming that eventually the others will grow, making the spacing issue a moot point). The quality of the planting was otherwise good; plants are doing well.

Designer arrived late, however was creative and spent time discussing various landscaping options. First step was to remove trees from yard. Landscaper indicated she would provide a verbal quote to remove the trees within a couple of days followed up by a written quote. Neither verbal or written quotes have been received to date and my follow up calls have not been returned. I would have proceeded with a landscape design if the first step in the process has been followed up as promised.

Very professional, timely and pleasant. She listened well and gave us just what we wanted.

Requested assistance with ideas for filling in landscaping around house with some color; also needed help with problematic perennial bed. Received a walk through with drawing and suggestions/ideas. Kendra was great and had some good ideas; her ideas were also cost-conscious. Well worth the money.
