Technician, Joe Mulvaney, arrived five minutes early. He was polite and explained the process for cleaning the ducts. He took his shoes off when searching the house for registers and returns, and protected our floor with tarps when he began the cleaning. Joe spent approximately two hours cleaning the ducts and took time to point out potential areas for sawdust contamination in our basement workshop, recommending that the ducts be silicone at joints and where the builders ran water pipes through ducting.

Very positive experience given the fact that I had never had the work done before (20 years, I'm embarrassed to say). The tech (Joe) was polite and professional, left the place clean, and was on time.

Scheduled an appointment with very little lead time, and stuck to it. In fact, the next business day. Phoned me 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment and appeared at my house 10 minutes before. Was careful with my property (a new dryer kept with the washer in the garage, and didn't have to be told not to drag it along the specially sealed floor (used a dolly to move it). Dispatcher informed me at time of call that they would service a dryer duct that vented on the roof, and truck brought all necessary equipment to complete the job in a timely and professional manner. I should note that Angie's List agent misquoted their Angie's List discount (see also my rating of Steamatic). He over simplified it to $50 but in fact it was $25 off of the cost of $150. I have no complaint about the Angie's List agent, however.

I called this company and left a message for the Sales Manager. He never responded.

I called for an estimate and received an estimate over the phone. I was told to contact the same person when setting up my appointment and I would receive the estimated price. When I called back to schedule, that person was not available. The person doing the scheduling disputed the price, I referred them to Jane, they said OK, and I received a nasty letter in the mail regarding the price. The letter was very unprofessional in its writing, insinuating that it was all my fault, that the price quoted was my misunderstanding and not theirs. I have since decided to cancel the scheduled appointment because of the way they have handled this situation and would not refer them to anyone for future business.

Clay was stuck in traffic and was kind enough to call and notify me that he would be a few minutes late. He arrived when he said he would, was very professional, and covered his feet with booties before entering. He checked our HVAC system, vents, and returns. He was very willing to answer any questions I had and offered great recommendations. He explained the entire process, the cost, and the time involved. We plan on hiring them to clean our ducts once we have completed some interior plaster work. A few days after the estimate I received a hand-written thank you note from Clay...that is professionalism!

Ben was on time, very polite, and did his work efficiently. He worked quickly and took care to explain the process to us. We used the $50 off for the Angie's List coupon, and everything went perfectly. We would definitely have them back out again, probably for the dryer vent which is pretty long and gets clogged quickly.

Our technician, Joe, was fantastic. I went with Mite-E-Ducts based on their strong Angie's Lists reviews and was not disappointed. We recently purchased a home with two separate HVAC systems. The previous owners had 2 cats and after moving in a few months ago everyone in the family started developing strong allergies. Mite-E-Ducts did a full, all-day cleaning of both systems and now no one is even sniffling. I was a bit surprised by the price tag but Joe spent 8-9 hours working and was using lots of specialized equipment.

This was a great company to work with from start to finish. I got someone on the phone right away. They were incredibly knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. I got an appointment immediately, and they showed up right on time for the 8 am appt. I would definitely recommend them.

Very nice people to work with. I was under a time constraint and Joe came early to accommodate me. The job was done in a shorter time than estimated which was awesome. Joe was very polite and clean, I couldn't even tell he had been there. There was a misunderstanding about my wishes to have the dryer vent checked and cleaned if needed. They were back and had it cleaned within a few hours. I was very impressed by their promptness. I will use again and recommend them to my friends.

The experience was a good one! Joe Mulvaney was efficient and good at his job. We can tell a difference already; the house smells much fresher! I'm certain this had never been done before, and the house is almost 30 years old. I used the Angie's coupon to take $50 off my bill because Joe was unable to clean my dryer vent. The outside vent for the dryer couldn't be located, so the usual method for cleaning the vent out couldn't be used, much to my disappointment. That was no fault of mite-e-ducts. I would highly recommend mite-e-ducts! Again, Angie's List proved to be very beneficial!

MITE-E-DUCTS INC is a fantastic company. They did a great job. The service rep. that gave the estimate even went into the crawl space to look at the duct work to see if there were any issues. I was able to schedule service the next day. The technician who performed the work cleaned all the vents and sanitized one even though it was not on the order. Also, the technician was about to leave and noticed he had missed a vent in the garage, so he took out all his tools and cleaned that vent. That was very commendable. I would recommend this company to anyone.
