At Mite-E-Ducts, we offer air duct & dryer vent cleaning services. Since we use the best truck mounted duct cleaning trucks in the industry, all of your dust and debris will be pulled out of the duct system and contained/filtered outside of the home! We also offer dryer vent repair/replacement as well as dryer vent termination hood replacement. Don't forget to ask about our air duct treatment services!

Description of Work: Mite E Ducks cleaned the entire duct system of the house we sold to our daughter and son in law. The duct system had never been cleaned and that house was built in 1966. Later our "long" dryer vent system was cleaned and a new outside termination hood was replaced.

Chad Engle was the technician who performed the work. Chad was on time and very professional. He explained the process and the work that would be performed. He was careful when moving his equipment through my home. He wore protective foot coverings on his shoes anytime he was in my home. He moved all furniture back exactly as it was before it was moved to perform the work. I was impressed with their top notch equipment and professionalism.

The company was professional and generally thorough. There were two small issues: some dirt was left on the floor and two air vents were neglected; the company was responsive and immediately returned to take care of the two vents not cleaned.

Mite E Ducts was easy to work with from their customer service over the phone to their on-site technician. On the day of our appointment, I received a call to say that the technician was running late. I showed Joe all of our vents and returns and he got started. He was very helpful in answering questions about our system and giving advice on future needs. We have just purchased our house and the ducts were full of debris/candy/toys from the previous owners. Joe was able to remove everything. The service took about 2 1/2 hours. Unfortunately he overlooked a couple of the vents. I called back the next day to report the oversight and they immediately scheduled to return and finish the job. The price seemed a little high for the actual work that was done but they were very thorough and professional. Their equipment and process is unique. Overall, their customer service met our expectations and we appreciated their willingness to make sure we were satisfied.

Fine. Joe arrived a little early for the appointment, which on his schedule was 8-8:30, and I was told 8:15-8:30. So though I wasn't home, he waited until I arrived, about 8:20. The cleaning went much faster than in the past when the ducts were cleaned by other companies, but Joe assured me that it was because of their high-powered trucks. He said that we had about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of debris ... wherever the debris would've been. A few pieces of insulation and bits of dust were left here and there on the floor. He asked me to show him all registers and returns before we began. I didn't watch to make sure he removed and cleaned all registers, but I'm crossing fingers.
Description of Work: Cleaned ducts for 3000 square foot home (2 levels + basement).

They were able to come the day after I phoned to schedule an appointment. They were able to come earlier than scheduled time, but phoned to see if that was O.K. The whole process took less than an hour. The laundry area was left clean and Clay was very pleasant to work with. Would definitely get them again.

The results were shocking! The technician got a 5-gallon bucket full of lint from the outside vent. It is amazing that we didn't have a fire! The vent is about 30 years old; I doubt it had ever been cleaned. The house even smelled fresher after the process! There was a special of $25 off; an Angie's coupon is possibly available. We actually paid $125. The technician was very helpful, explaining the steps of the process and options that we might want to consider for the future.
Description of Work: We had our dryer vent cleaned. Mite-E-Ducts did our air ducts last fall; at that time, we couldn't locate our outside dryer vent, so it couldn't be cleaned at the same time. Our dryer's efficiency had suffered, taking quite a long time to dry clothes. We found the vent and gave the company a call.

Our experience with Mite-E-Ducts was very impressive and are very pleased with the results of Mr. Winters' work. Very professional and competent on what he was doing. The equipment is very impressive and we were amazed at the debris and dust removed. We are definitely going to do this on a regular basis; it is a great service.
Description of Work: Access openings were made in the air supply and return duct system at my house. A rather large vacuum type hose was attached to each of the openings first to the intake and then to the return ducts. The other end attached to a rather large & impressive vacuum in a large red truck. Clay Winters, company rep. started the vacuum equipment and went in our house with a long air hose. He removed each floor, wall and ceiling register cover and put the air hose that had a multi-tip end, as the air was let out the ends rotated inside the duct system dislodging debris and dust. He went to each return registers and with high pressure air cleaned the return air ducts. He took pictures before and after each register was cleaned. He disconnected the equipment, installed access plates on the openings and replaced all insulation as good as he found it. Vacuum suction was so impressive particularly when it held a 75 pg. 8x5.5 in. book up against the ceiling register until turned off.

It went very well. Clay was punctual and courteous, more than willing to answer questions about the process, and when he left I couldn't tell he had even been here. Except of course for the obvious lack of dust. I'll be calling in a couple of years to invite him back.
Description of Work: Clay backed his monster suction truck up to the garage, cut some access holes into the supply and return side at the furnace, inserted the mega hose and sucked it clean.

AT THIS HOME WE REPLACED A DRYER VENT AND PERFORMED AIR DUCT CLEANING. WHEN I (CLAY) REPLACED THE DRYER VENT, I ACCIDENTALLY STEPPED ON A BATH ROOM EXHAUST VENT, WHICH I DID NOT REALIZE WHEN I WAS ORIGINALLY THERE. I RETURNED TO THE HOME THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND REPAIRED IT. THE DUCT CLEANING WAS PERFORMED BY JOE AND EVERYTHING WAS A.O.K. WITH THAT. They gave me an initial quote and when the work was completed they actually lowered the rate due to not having to perform some of the jobs. We are in a new home, and they found some things that the builder left behind that might hinder the performance of the HVAC system. They did a good job and we would use them again.

I called this company, and the gentleman who answered the phone took time to explain to me how the process works. He inquired about the square footage, and approximate number of registers and cold air returns; with this, he was able to provide me an estimate. He arranged to have his truck scheduled to come within three days of the call. They arrived, and worked on all the vents, on a very cold damp day, and finished in 2.5 hours, cleaning up their "mess" before leaving. Overall a satisfactory experience.
Description of Work: Mite-E-Ducts provided an estimate of $499 (less Angie's List discount of $50) to clean air ducts in my 2,300 sq. ft. home. They arrived a bit late, but called to let me know they were delayed. Their employee cleaned all the ducts and cold air returns, including an overflow register in our garage. The process took about 2.5 hours, less time than quoted by the owner, but I think they were thorough.
