MITE-E-DUCTS INC cleaned our ducts 3 years ago. I noticed that I seemed to have a lot of dust in the house so I called MITE-E-DUCTS INC for another duct cleaning. They came out today and told me I don't need the ducts cleaned. Justin found that there is no air coming out of the dryer vent to the exterior of the home. He climbed in to the crawl space and found that the dryer vent was disconnected. Justin re-connected the vent. I appreciate the honesty and integrity in which the service was handled. This could have cost me $500.00 - $600.00 for the air duct cleaning. Justin saved me a lot of money with his honesty. I would highly recommend their service and will use them in the future.

I had new air ducts installed in the attic last month and decided to have the stationary trunk lines of the system cleaned by Mite-E-Ducts. Justin came on schedule and did a great job of cleaning the trunk lines. The air filter before he began was filled with a large amount of dirt and dust which was the residue of the removal of the old ducts in the attic. I was totally satisfied with the job Justin did for me.

I could not possibly be any more pleased! Stuart and Chad from Mite-E-Ducts were just outstanding. I live in a second story condo (which makes it a very difficult job) and these gentlemen worked nonstop for hours to ensure the job was perfect. Stuart stayed until after 6 pm on a Friday to make sure the job was just right. They were both exceptionally polite, professional, and knowledgeable. My air quality is so much better and I'm very happy. Mite-E-Ducts may not be the least expensive, but they are the best!

Dryer again not working (from May to now). Had previously had no problems for 2 years. Dryer repairman states vent is clogged. Even if we used our dryer alot (which we do not) I still cannot understand how the vent. could be clogged again so soon. Had previously been there 2 years without an issue. Contacted the vendor who stated they only guarantee their workmanship for 20 days. Anything after that is a full fee return. No I am out 75 dollars for the dryer repair (which is it fine) and another 175 to have the work redone. Not acceptable.

"Thank you for writing a review. We were called out on May 11 of 2015 to clean the Dryer Vent. Removed two big bags of lint from the Duct and the inside of the Dryer. We had the recommend air flow once the Dryer was in the proper place. Dryer Vent Cleaning is recommended annually. But some people have to have the Dryer cleaned every three, six, or up to twelve months. Just depending on the usage, environment, length (IN Code is a total of 35') and nature (birds, rodents, ect). We were contacted just last week (8 months later) about the Dryer Vent again. Dryer Service Tech told her the Duct needed to be cleaned again. We told her of the charge and inspection again. Customer wasn't please and hung up. We tried to call back with no answer. If the customer would like for us to return and do another Inspection, we would do so. Have a great day! Chad, Field Manager"

Please don't let price scare you. We live in a 3600 square foot house that was built in 1865, We have A LOT of ductwork. Heaven only knows the last time the ductwork was cleaned in this house. In addition, we had three rooms of wood floors refinished so one can only imagine the amount of sawdust that generated. You can't possibly imagine the amount of dirt in the furnace system. Chad was late but only because he ran into construction zones three times on I70 so I still gave him and A for punctuality. I've driven I70 many times and I know what a pain it is. I do not work so I'm home quite a bit. I actually got a bronchial infection from the amount of dust in the air. I could quite literally dust a surface then, after the furnace had run a couple of times, go back and dust again and it was like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of weeks. It took the young man several hours to clean it all because he did he right. The house just feels cleaner. We're those people who actually have the HVAC checked out every year, chimney swept, etc. I can tell you we will absolutely use this company again. We simply could not be more satisfied.

We do recommend after a remodel that a customer also call their HVAC contractor to Clean the Blower Wheel, check the end of the motor for debris; Check the Heat Exchangers and limits for excess dust; and to preform a Indoor Coil Cleaning. We called Mite-E-Ducts and a gentleman named Chad came out to give an estimate of what it would take to get rid of a mold problem. We were told by another company who tested for mold that, even though they could not see any mold anywhere, it was probably in the duct work and it would cost $2,800 to remediate it. In addition, we would have to pay extra to remove our belongings, furniture, etc. from the house, store it, and have it returned. This is the same company who performed the test and told us we had toxic black mold. However, toxic black mold was not listed on the test. Another common type was listed and it was within the normal, legal range.
Chad looked all through the house and could not find any mold. He said if there was mold in the ducts, we should have them replaced as they are the flexible kind and anything blown into them for treatment, would just lay in the bottom and not all would be blown out. However, before he agreed to do the work, he recommended that we have another test performed just to be sure and suggested we use an independent company who specializes in mold testing. We called Mold Diagnostics in Monrovia and the lady who came to do the test has a Ph.D. in microbiology. She looked through the house and could not find mold anywhere. We showed her the first test to get her opinion and she said that the test was within the legal range and did not note toxic black mold on it anywhere. We received the test results from Mold Diagnostics and it showed the common type of mold and it was within the legal range. Therefore, we do not have toxic black mold nor anything that needs to be treated.
We were very pleased with Chad and his representation of Mite-E-Ducts. He showed the utmost professionalism and integrity. To my knowledge he did not ask who the other company was and only went on what he found himself. We commend him for recommending that we have a second opinion by having another test performed and to use an independent company. His company does testing but it was only right that we had it tested by a party who did not perform remediation.
In my research on testing, it was recommended that we should not use the same company for remediation if they performed the test. In fact, in some states, it is illegal to use the same company.
We will highly recommend Mite-E-Ducts as they perform other services besides duct cleaning and mold remediation. We thank them for their honesty and integrity.

Our dryer vent is approximately 30 feet long and needed cleaned bad! Mite-E-Ducts was the only firm that would give us a quote over the phone and was very professional on the phone with my wife. The service tech, Benny, arrived on time and was GREAT! The amount of lint that he cleaned out was unbelievable! I HIGHLY recommend this company! And if you call, request Benny! Another quick note, there was no fuel charge like most places charge which amazed me considering the distant they traveled!

I had a really good experience with them. It was really good service. He told me how clogged up it was. He probably went a little above and beyond what he should have. He was like, "I can't leave you like this, because I'm worried you'll have a fire." He did a really good job.
