The technicians arrived, introduced themselves, and confirmed the price for the cleaning. They then asked to see where all the vents were in the house. I showed them and then showed them where the furnace and dryer was. After that, they set about their work. They got everything clean within a couple of hours and were very professional. One thing a really appreciated is that they noticed that we had cats and told me that they would have to have a door open to run their equipment through and they expressed concern that the cats might get out. That gave me a chance to lock the cats in a room to prevent their escape.

I liked them. I thought that they probably did a good job. Ultimately, I determined that we probably didn?t need it, but I had them do it. They were fair and did a thorough job. I think air duct cleaning is more appropriate for people with children and pets and for smokers. We don?t have small children or pets and we don?t smoke. We don?t cook a lot either. We had never had this work done before, and I wanted to see the result and see if it made a difference. In fact, it really did not; the house is just as dusty as it ever was. I have no complaints against them - I asked them to come and they did. I probably would not use them again, not because there was anything wrong with them; I don?t think it was a good way to spend $500.

The dryer vent was cleaned at a cost of $150 (w/ Angies List coupon). The tech was punctual and professional. He quoted me to replace the exterior roof dryer vent cap and completed the job a week later at a cost of $221 ( which I thought was a bit high). Again the techs were punctual and professional. I was pleased with the quality of their work.

They were very professional. They explained everything. They were very respectful and I enjoyed that. That was really good. They do very thorough work. I would definitely have them back. They are very respectful of your property. I trust that they do their work. I think they were expensive but the job that they do, it was worth it. It’s like you pay for what you get. They were on time. I would use their services again in the future.

I contacted Mite-E-Ducts on Angie's List by email. Clay and Mindi got back to me very quickly, by the next day. After setting a date for the cleaning, John came out to do an air duct cleaning. Overall the process went well. We went with Mite-E-Ducts for two reasons. #1, they are local. We like to support our local companies in Zionsville. #2, the comments on Angie's lists were very positive. Did our house really need a cleaning? Yes and no. It was more of a peace of mind. We built our house 6 years ago, and we think we keep our house in good shape. After John cleaned the ducts, he said it was dusty, but overall in good shape. We recently had some drywall work done, and wanted to make sure we got most of the drywall dust, out of the duct work. John was very courteous, worn shoe covers, and showed me the pictures of the before and after photos. Overall, it's nice knowing our duct work is clean, and that we had a reputable company do the work. Also, I feel $500 is a good price point. If the cost was much more, we probably would have held off.

They were excellent. They were professional, they answered all of my questions, and they were tidy; they didn?t leave any debris or anything.

Very well. Easy to schedule an appointment, Chad was very knowledgeable and even showed me photos of the damaged dryer vent in the crawlspace. He returned later to install the end cap at no additional charge. I will definitely call Mite-e-Ducts in the future.

Technician arrived promptly and went straight to work. Cleaned 10 vents + dryer vent. We had a very clogged dryer vent that took almost 2 hours to clear. He was very thorough and patient during this process and was able to clear the entire vent. VERY happy with this company and will most definitely use them again.

They did a great job for us. They also clened out our 2 dry vents. I saw pictures before and after and they were clean and neat. The man that came was effiecent and worked well. The house is 17 years old and this is the first thime they have been cleaned.

They called when they were running behind and they were very clean. When they were here, the service went very quickly. I don't know why he got delayed but he at least called me to let me know what he was behind, which I appreciated. Their price was competitive.

They did a good job. They were prompt, did what they said they were going to do, and did a thorough job. They cleaned the main trunk, which companies I had used in years past did not do.

The service person found residues of a bird nest in the dryer vent and made sure all debris was removed. The team was clean, friendly and helpful. They also made suggestion on how to improve the dryer vent flow.

From start to finish this was a positive experience. Mindy, who answered the phone when I called, was pleasant and professional. We scheduled an appointment for the next day; she said the techs would arrive between 11 and 11:30 a.m. She asked if it was ok for them to come early if they were running ahead of schedule, and promised to call ahead if this was the case. The next morning she called at 9:40 to let me know that they would be here in about 20 minutes. The two techs arrived within that time frame. They both were pleasant and professional as well. They completed the job by 10:50. They showed me photos of the roof vent before they cleaned it, and recommended installing a roof termination vent; however, it was very low key and there was no pressure to agree to that service.

The serviceman was very nice, competent, and timely, but the price was outrageous! My fault, should have checked ahead of time.

The plenum as well as the duct work above was not cleaned. They took the return vent down, the tech told me sometimes there is difficulty putting it back up. He took 2 screws out, let it hang, stretching the holes so it won't go back. He also dropped his tool on the hardwood flooring causing a few dents. There were tapes over some register vents because they were working. On the invoice the company stated customer has flooring work still to be done, must leave tape on until work is complete to keep from getting dirty. They also had stated customer asked to take down return vents, one would not go back up. I only asked them to take one down. I had actually asked him to put the tape back on after cleaning them. A few days ago I took a register vent off and there was a lot of debris. This makes me wonder if this was ever cleaned at all. *UPDATE* The company is incorrect in stating that I was rushing the project. All flooring work had been completed except for the second bathroom. I even rescheduled the duct cleaning from earlier times. It is untrue that I told them not to worry about damaging the floors with their tools since it was going to be replaced. They did damage the new flooring however. We did not turn down the offer to have someone inspect the duct system because the offer had never been made. It's also untrue that the air duct technician advised to leave grill mask tape on. It was my idea to do so. The cover for the return air vent wasn't properly removed which means it couldn't be put back into place. Debris has since been found in the air ducts, the plenum and the vents above were never cleaned, and the floor is now damaged. Johnson Heating and Air can corroborate that the plenum and above vents were never cleaned. We would like a full refund for their services.

It turned out well. I think the price was a bit high; it only took about 10 minutes to do. I was very pleased with the work though.

Our dryer was taking all day to dry clothes. We finally called Mite-E-Ducts to come clean the vent. Our Dryer is on the 2nd floor and vents to the roof. When the serviceman was on the roof, he discovered that a bird had built it's nest in our vent, probably during hte winter to keep wam. It had closed off the entire pipe, leaving only a space for a toothpick to fit through. He removed the nest, and fixed a joint in the pipe. Now I can do 4-5 loads of laundry in a day instead of 2.

They took before and after pictures for me to see the work done. They did not have to bring equipment into my home, they were able to use a machine outside. All of the dirt and dust from the ducts was blown back into their truck so there was not mess in my home. After they finished it, they blew sanitizer to help kill the mold and get it out of the house. They were professional in every way. They did an excellent job.

The guys did a great job. They called to see if they could come early and that worked better with my schedule. They were fast, polite and good natured - especially when dealing with my barking, overprotective dog!

This was a great experience from start to finish! Mindy took my call to get information and schedule the appointment. She was unfailingly polite, engaging, and professional. Shawn arrived exactly on time to do the cleaning of the dryer vent, and he was also unfailingly polite, engaging, and professional. It only took 15 minutes for the entire job to be done. At the end, Shawn let me know that a flap on my dryer vent cover had broken off and that Mite-E-Ducts would replace it at their expense as soon as possible. I was then contacted by Clay, who was once again unfailingly polite, engaging, and professional. He worked with me to find the right type of vent cover, answering all of my questions about various options. Mite-E-Ducts even bought paint so that the new dryer vent cover would match the back of my house. The vents are clean, the cover looks great, and I could not be happier with the service they provided!
