It went very well and very fast. I called in the morning and they came out the same day, which was great because I didn't feel like I should use my dryer until the vent was cleaned out after seeing all of the lint stuck in the outside trap.

They were very service oriented and did a good job.

called them to perform dryer vent cleaning, they made an appointment for the next day. They were punctual, go right to work, finished quickly and did not report any further problems. It was quite easy and they were nice to work with

The technician arrived on time and performed the work satisfactorily. They don't tell you that the door that they bring the hose into the house from the truck has to remain open. It was below 32 degrees so it was pretty chilly on the first floor. It also takes several hours to complete. I have not noticed any difference in the air quality or amount of air blown through the vents. In fact, in some areas I think it has decreased. The technician took pictures of every vent, and I have requested these pictures 3 times but have not received them yet. I indicated on the contract that I wanted the pictures emailed to me. When I didn't receive them, I called December 2 and Chad told me that it takes a month to get your pictures (!) I called him again January 16 and he said he would contact the technician and get his camera. We have yet to receive the pictures. The amount of dust in the house has not decreased nor did the technician indicate that our ducts were especially dirty.

Very satisfactory, the techs were on time and charged less than the quoted price. they did a good job.

I had a good experience with them. My wife had chosen them. They came out and she was very happy with them. She found them on Angie’s List. I think they charged about $100 for the job. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job. They put everything back together, it was good. I was satisfied with what they did.

I was having problems with my dryer as it wouldn't dry the clothes on a normal cycle. I called for a repair and was told it was my dryer vent that was blocked and needed to be cleaned. I contacted Mite-E Ducts and they were able to come out the next day. Jeff cleaned the vent and replaced the dryer vent in my attic to bring it up to today's codes. Great job and well worth the peace of mind that I won't have a house fire.

I think the price was in the $400.00 range, but I can't remember. I had no complaints whatsoever. I checked out several companies before I chose them. I don't remember any comments that were negative. There was no problem. I am assuming there were companies that were far more expensive. I do remember that. There was no problem with the quality of their service. I would use them in the future.

We have a contract with them. Their partner business takes care of our HVAC system. They had door guards that protected everything that they came in contact with. The weather was bad and our back yard was in a bad condition. They were just ever so meticulous. The work was done by Chad. I have never seen these door guards before. It was not dragging against any of our doors or touching any of our surfaces. I felt that their service quality certainly commanded their price.

Everything went well. The company did a great job and charged a fair price. I noticed a hole in one of the ducts that hadn't been there previously, so I called the company and informed them. They apologized for the error and repaired the hole without issue or charging.

The service was great! Very professional and great customer service! They were going to be a little late, so instead of waiting around and wondering where they were, the woman in the office called me to tell me when he would be here and explained why he was running a little late. I appreciated them calling and he arrived right at the time the woman in the office told me to expect them. They did a great job and it didn't take long at all! The man who came for the service was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. He did a great job and my dryer has worked like it's brand new ever since he came out. Thanks and I will definitely be using them again if needed.

The dryer vent cleaning ($125) was very good and the price was considered quite reasonable. Our only complaint has to do with the price of some of the items involved in repairing the dryer vent. Our concern was that we had rodents that were coming in from the outside, based on when of the lever on the outside portion of the dryer vent had a broken lever. This outside dryer vent was only about one foot above ground level. The inside vent I had done a quick fix with duct tape, when I discovered a hole in it. In one day, I discovered the fix had another hole in it, obviously from the rodents. The servicer provided a replacement vent for a reasonable price of $15. This seemed to be something that was not brand new, as when I double-checked it the next day (and it came off when I pulled the dryer out to do so) - it seemed to be cut shorter and was very difficult to put back on the vent. The servicer suggested that we get a bird guard on the outside dryer vent, which is like a plastic cage. He said it was the only thing they had and it would work for rodents also. The price of this was $80. This price seemed quite high and we debated getting it, but as we were worried about more rodents coming in - we decided to get it. The installattion of this took about a minute or so, as all that was needed was to caulked it on the bricks over the dryer vent. Our main concern with pricing was with this item. We found the exact same item the next day at Lowes for a little less than $8.00. Thus, the mark-up was over 10 times. True, it included the installation, but that was quite simple. Also, since he did not have anything that could fixed the broken lever, he simply caulked it shut. It would have been nice, if they might have been able to provide a replacement for the broken vent, since by caulking it shut, we lost one of three levers that allows the dryer lint to go outside. Our last comment. In reading about this place in Angie List, I noticed and printed that there was a $25 discount for dryer vent service. When I called, I was quoted a price of $150, but was then told that I would receive a discount of $25 for a price of $125 for dryer vent cleaning. I never told the person on the phone that I was from Angie LIst. When the servicer came he also told me the dryer vent cleaning was $125. When I told him I had an Angie's List coupon, he said that since they had already provided me with a $25 discount, there was no additional discount. My concern on this issue is - from my experience I got a $25 discount without identifying myself as an Angie's List customer. Thus, it appears that the actual price is $125 and there is no special $25 discount only for Angie's LIst customers. That seems a mite sneaky to me, even though, I think the $125 dryer vent cleaning charge is reasonable. One last comment, we really liked the service person who came. He caulked the lever shut for free and was very open on the prices, so we could have refused the $80 bird cage, had we wanted to.

Overall the service was excellent. The technician was very prompt, very professional and very courteous with his performed services, as well as being able to answer any questions and concerns that I had.

went ok. Didn't take very long - about an hour or so. We hear so much about dirty air ducts and the need to have them professionally cleaned. Quite frankly, after it was done - I was not at all sure what all the hoopla is about. Maybe other houses are worse than mine. My home is over 100 yrs old. I've lived here for 10 yrs - and have 2 dogs, no kids. I'm not a neat freak, but probably pretty normal clean, vacuum regularly. I think everyone wants to know if their air system was found to be full of dust and dirt. I was told my ducts "weren't too bad" . Probably just means could have been worse, could have been better - in other words, probably normal. . Afterwards, I have not been able to tell any difference in air quality. I have to dust just as much as before. All in all , I wouldn't do it again, especially for the cost. I have a small house. For the cost, I think they should have cleaned and wiped down the grates on the cold air returns - I only have 3, and cleaned and wiped down the floor grates - I have 10. The tech may very well have vacuumed them - but to do a good job, you have to actually clean them. Maybe I was just expecting some air revelation so was disappointed to find no changes noticed.

Very pleasant experience from beginning to end - the receptionist that scheduled my appointment was very friendly. John, the technician showed up on time and quickly performed the service. He was very informative. This was our first time having the dryer vent cleaned out after living in our home 6 1/2 years. Very glad we did it!

This went extremely well from the start. They were very flexible with scheduling and arrived exactly on time. Jeff, the technician ,explained everything he was doing and why prior to starting and there were no surprises. He cleaned up afterwards and finished on time. There were no added-on costs or delays, I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

The technician who came out was pleasant and professional. He asked intelligent questions and put on shoe covers when appropriate without being asked.

They arrived on time and got right to work. The representative explained in detail what he was going to do and how he was going to get into the furnace area to access all of the vents. He also had to go up on the roof to access the dryer vent to clean that out. He noticed while working on the dryer vent that there had been a bird's nest in the vent so he cleaned out the nest and installed screening on the outside of the vent so that a bird would not be able to build a nest in there again as that was a potential fire hazard. I was so grateful that I called!! He also took digital photos of the vents before the cleaning and then took digital photos afterwards so that I could see the differences. I thought that was an excellent idea. I would definitely use this service again and when I do, I will always call Mite-E-Ducts!

These guys did an amazing job. They were on-time, clean, coureous, and very personable. My house smells and feels so much better! Allergies have gotten better as a result - well worth the money.

John showed up on time and cleaned the dryer vent. He found a large piece of drywall in the vent, which might explain why the dryer takes so long to dry our clothes. We are very thankful that he found it and removed it, since it could be a fire hazard. He was very professional and did a great job!
