He had just had surgery and had a long list of people that needed him after his surgery and I got first dibs. I paid $800 on that work. He leaves my house cleaner than when he gets here and does impossible things. The stain and sealer that was put on our new decks from the other company for some reason had peeled and it was completely awful. Dave got out there and hand sanded it and got it all off and down to bare wood. He drove me down to the place where we together picked out the new product and came back and the deck has been perfect ever since. That was a deck painting job but was very complicated stripping and prepping job, and wasn?t straight forward at all. In the case of the dinning room there was an extremely valuable grand piano in the middle of the room and I have to say that I would not trust anyone but him to paint around something like that. He is so careful and takes his time and does things right. The unfortunate thing is that he has become very popular and he is also a master carpenter, so that part of the business has become more lucrative. If I ever need him for that you would be getting a report for his carpentry.

Excellent quality and service. Dave has a great understanding of detail and anticipating needs of the owner and is a gifted wood craftsman.

Arrived on time. Worked carefully & steadily. Left our home cleaner than when he arrived to start the job. Took as much time as we would have cleaning (including all baseboards/wood trim), prepping, sanding, repairing the surfaces prior to priming and painting. Though the colors we chose were very dark, Mr DeMars' cutting-in to baseboards, trim & ceiling was perfect. He helped move furniture (including beds), provided his own vacuum for cleanup. Transferred leftover paint to smaller containers for touch ups. Offered to return for touch ups; it wasn't necessary, but it was part of his written contract & we appreciated his offer.
