Just as I had wanted and they answered by questions so that I could take care of one of the problems myself.

I have requested a refund from the owner Derek Brandt, and his secretary basically told me no refunds. Sounds like the new owner of 2 years is trying to run this business into the ground. Jim Russell would not be proud.

Technician arrived on time, very polite and professional. They serviced the furnace and it's working better than before.

Solution proposed was economical and simple.

It's on a service contract. They're coming tomorrow. I think they left a piece off of the upstairs furnaces in the attic. They just disconnected the slew and didn't put it back on for some reason.

Excellent. Derek & Brian are great. Always responsive, dependable, and priced fair. They go above and beyond to take care of us anytime a problem arises. Wouldn't EVER use anyone else!

After almost thirteen years of service, our gas water heater was showing signs of "giving up the ghost". Not wanting to wait until it was an emergency installation and having previously used this service provided for assorted plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs, I contacted their office on Wednesday 9/18 and requested a quote. Jim Russell called the next morning, provided the quote and indicated that he could probably do the installation the next morning. To my surprise, within three hours after our phone conversation Jim pulled up in my drive with the new Bradford White water heater. (He explained that he was "going to Carmel to pick up some other equipment anyway".) Within two hours, he and his assistant had removed the old water heater--not an easy task considering the tight location involved--and installed the new one. They not only clean up their own mess but left that area of my garage in better shape than it was in before they started their work.

Dan came and honestly told us that our toilets could be replaced for less money than to have them fixed and recommended what this company uses - Kohler! I love my new toilets and Dan is an exceptional employee and very, very kind. I really like this company and will use them forever!!!

Everything was good. He showed up on time, he was nice, and cleaned up after himself.

Continuing from #14, I turned my A/C on on May 15th and had no air. The unit outside was blowing cold air so I knew there was little coolant in the system. I called J.R. H&C and asked the receptionist if she would have Derrick, the new owner, call me about the problem. She said, “Well, some of these units just have to be recharged every year!” She said she would have him contact me. After not receiving a call that day, I called back the next day and asked again if she would have him contact me. This was Friday, and again no call from anyone. About 4 pm on Friday I called a third time and no one answered so I left a message on Jim Russell’s voice mail and explained the situation. It is now mid-day on Tuesday, the 21st, and I have still not received a call back. I finally contacted another repair service and they came to my home last night, found the leak, and made the proper repair and refill – cost $350. As a small business owner myself, I don’t understand this type of customer service. Zionsville is a relatively small community and word of this type of behavior will certainly get around. How can you build a business, or maintain and existing business, with such deplorable customer service.

Entire process from quote to installation was fabulous. Provided good, better, best options and gave great alternatives & information to help us make the decision. Very responsive & knowledgeable. Never pressured us - excellent company and personnel. Highly recommend!

Our sump pump was not sounding good this morning and I called Jim Russell. He was here within 2 hours to replace it. We have used Jim for the last 6 years for all of our heating/cooling and plumbing needs. He is a very honest and personable man to do business with. He is very thorough in his work. I never worry about being sold something I don't need or being overcharged for something. I would highly recommend Jim Russell for anyone looking for a good heating/cooling/plumbing guy.

Awfull. Ever time someone uses the bathroom we here it coming through the Bar sink.. We now have 2 hugh 2feet by 1 foot holes in our basement ceiling. And still can't do laundry!!!!!!!

We found them to be very responsive. They had corrected some issues for us, and they are just great to work with. They are very thorough and professional. If there appears to be a problem, they keep working on it until they identify the source or they have ruled out that there is a major problem. We have been just very pleased with them.

It was done in a day. We were gone whe he installed it. No problems at all.

They had done work in my basement bathroom before, so I called them for this too. They came out the day after I called. I was worried my whole unit would have to get replaced; however it didn't. They ran a few tests on the flow a d temperature of what I was getting when my A/C was on, and based on that they could tell there was a problem with the compressor. They took a look at the compressor and immediately found the problem: over time the vibration of the unit had rubbed wires to where they got split. They replaced the wires, added some padding around them so the same problem wouldn't happen again, and were done within a half an hour. They were even nice enough to stick around for an extra 10 minutes or so to answer a couple of questions we had about hot water heaters (we're predicting we are near the end of the life of it).

They were great! I would recommend them. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

Quick response. Polite service from individual who took phone call to both service technicians who came. They explained what was wrong, told us how to avoid the problem in the future and even told us how to unstop any future problems!

Installation went fine, but had a leak after he left. Came home on late Friday afternoon to water leaking on top of my heater and all over the garage. He did not respond to my telephone calls until the next day, which was disappointing to me. The leak was kind of a freakish and unusual thing, and I believe he is quite competent at his job. I was just disapointed he did not come back and immediately fix the problem.

They replaced my old unit which was about 22 years old. Everything was done perfectly! They were clean. My new a/c unit works like a dream. On the hottest day of the year, yesterday, my a/c unit kept our home cool.

It was very reasonable, but the contractor told me prior to beginning the job that there would be two rebates. One from taxes and one from Duke Power. Upon completion of the job, I was told it did not qualify for a tax rebate, but they would take care of submitting for the Duke rebate. After several weeks, I called. I was told that Duke has stopped giving a rebate. I believe I was mislead into purchasing the service. I also requested they give me a quote on installing a solar attic fan and have never been contacted.
