+ -1 moreIt was all great. I was on a tight deadline to get everything done before graduation and despite all of the bad weather; they came out on nights and weekends whenever the weather was nice and got it finished for me. It was a lot of work. I will be using them again.
Description of Work: Jake Stum Landscaping put down some sod and did some spring clean-up.

+ -1 moreFANTASTIC! Great gentlemen to work with. Their pricing is far below what the "big" companies charge and the results are much better! The mowing always looks great and they do a great job with the trimming. They do not mow your lawn if it does not need it. When we used a "big" company in the past, we had to pay them to mow once a week even if it was completely unnecessary and even damaging to the lawn. They have also mulched for us and have dug out large shrubs for us.
Description of Work: Jake Stum mowed our lawn for two years. He, his crew, and Thomas Gottschalk do FANTASTIC work! They are friendly, very helpful and always take the time to do things "the right way" the first time. From time to time, we had other work performed by Jake and Thomas. We were always very satisfied with their diligence and punctuality. The only reason we are no longer using their services is because we just moved, and we moved quite a ways from their stomping grounds. I do know they would gladly come assist us if we ever needed them for a project though!

+ -1 moreI contacted Jake Stum Landscaping requesting suggestions and an estimate. Jake came out two days later. He discussed our options on-site and sent us a written estimate within 4 days. We accepted his estimate that same day. The cost was about $600 for labor and $455 for materials (topsoil and mulch). Jake and an assistant arrived to do the work when promised. The actual work took about 10 hours. Their clean-up after completing the work was excellent. Our back yard looks great. I will definitely use Jake Stum Landscaping again. .
Description of Work: One corner of our back yard collected water during rainy seasons like we experienced last May. This resulted not only in attracting insects, but also in killing the grass. Additionally, we had two flower beds in our back yard and shrubs in our front yard that were seriously in need of weeding and mulch.
