I really like how well this company communicates. There are no surprises dealing with David Hazen Inc. Of course the work was done well and on time.

They were good. They did the job and cleaned up after themselves.

We initialy contacted David for an estimate. He came out the next day (on 4th of July weekend!) and provided us with an estimate. We were very impressed how quickly he responded and a few days later recieved the estimate over e-mail. We took a week to talk it over and decided to go with him since there were so many great reports on Angie's List and his price seemed reasonable. I replied to his e-mail to schedule the work and never heard back from him. I waited 1 more week and then called him. He explained he lost his office manager and just hasn't had time to check his e-mail. So I explained that I wanted him to do the work, and when could we get it scheduled. He said that his installation man (Harold, I believe) would be in contact with me to get it scheduled. I waited 2 more weeks and never heard from either of them. I finally decided that if he didn't want my business enough to contact me, I would go to someone who did. I shouldn't be the one trying to track him down. I ended up calling someone else, and the job turned out great, and a little under what David quoted us. *For the record, it is the end of August and I still haven't heard back from them.

It was a great job from start to finish. Duane was very good at explaining the work in detail. He explained the importance of proper ventilation & insulation on for our Roof to last. They said it would take 2 weeks they finished everything in 7 days except for the painting, it took a little longer because they have smaller painting crews, but it was worth the wait. The Painters spent an entire day just caulking all the cracks to keep the water from getting through the cracks. This is by far the best paint job we have ever had. All the other services went well too. We were very pleased with David Hazen work and would recommend him to anyone.

They were Awesome. They were always very professional and very detailed orientated. They were superb at dealing with the insurance adjusters. Duane had found many items that the insurance adjuster failed to see. . Duane is truly great at managing the project and dealing with the insurance process.. Again I want to say that everything went so well from start to finish. I am so impressed I would recommend David Hazen, Inc to Anyone. One last thing they went out of there way to make me a satisfied customer.

Great job. Harold came out with samples of gutter screens and his reccomendation of what screens would work best for my situation. Made my choice of screens of which Harold ordered. I thought it would be done in a couple of weeks but it was difficult to get the screens that I ordered. But once they arrived, the screens were installed along with the gutters. Everything is wonderful. Thanks to Harold & his team.

From the beginning the total experience was great. They showed up on time and worked extended hours to get they?re daily task completed. Each service they performed went extremely smooth and faster then I expected. Everyday when I came home, I couldn?t believe how fast they accomplished there work and with great quality as well. I was impressed with how detail oriented they are. David only used the best materials and was always explaining the things they were going to do differently to prevent some of the wood rot problems that occurred previously. Overall it was truly a great experience and I would be happy to recommend David to anyone I know.

David oversaw the job which was contracted out to two subs. They were punctual, hard-working, and professional. I was very happy with the job and would recommend them again!

I had a fine experience with him. He gave me an estimate over the phone, and he stuck to the estimate. He came on time do the job. I don?t have anything bad to say about him.

I was really pleased with his service. This has been the third time that I have had my house painted, and it has never looked so good. The two previous times I have had it done the guys were in and out in a couple of days. David's crew spent six days on the job. His price was also significantly less than the two other painting companies that I have used. I highly recommend them and I will use them exclusively for any painting work going forward. I really thought that his painting manager Duane Ward did a great job keeping me informed with what was going on each day.

They did a good job. They were organized, on time, worked quickly, and I think their project manager, Duane, was very responsive. All of the work looks good.

I was very lucky because he put gutter covers on in the fall for me. They got the work done right away. They did a wonderful job! They just are exemplary! They did the work in a very timely manner. I am so lucky I used them before and was able to call them to get the work done right away! When I got the gutter covers put on in the fall, I chose him from Angie's List where he had an all A ratings. They also did several other jobs for me that were not even included in my contract and they did not charge me any additionally.

It was a great experience for us. They recognized several problems with our old gutters such as the angle they were hung and the nails that had been used. Also they gave us a choice of gutter covers and we are very pleased with our choice. They were quick and clean and very competent. Today is an all day rain at our house and we are having no overflow or leaking spots - a major improvement!

They were very easy to work with and their work was perfection - they weren't happy until it was done right! They were very good about communicating and we always knew what was going on. We'll continue to use them in the future as needed.

The experience went very well, even better then expected (and I had high hopes as I found them on Angie's List). They were very easy to work with, were accommodating and were genuinely pleasant to deal with. They did the highest quality work. They worked full days everyday and came back the next day until the job was done. If I pointed out anything, they would get to immediately and wouldn't wait to do it. I would use them again!

I have used this company before for gutter cleaning and they did a excellent job cleaning the gutters and debris and branch from the roof. I would like to add that David is very friendly and professional. I always settle my bills asap from services rendered, but I have been having a financial pinch this year, and David was very flexible with a payment arrangement, as of today (July 16, 2009) I am paid in full. Thank you David.

They were very friendly and pleasant to work with. I would, of course, use them again.

I had a small forest sprouting in my raingutters. The crew came out the very next day after my call, cleaned the gutters and blew out the downspouts, and reattached one section of gutter that was pulling away from the house. They threw all the debris down onto a tarp and hauled it away, and the roof and my porch and sidewalk were cleaner after they finished than before they arrived. Very neat and thorough and also very helpful. He took a look at the roof and let me know that he didn't see any problem spots there, since he was up there already. Definitely will hire again... probably for their scheduled twice-yearly cleaning service so I don't forget about it again!

Contacted based on the great reviews. Contacted right away by office but had to wait 3 days before received a call from a Dewayne Ward. Made an appointment to go over issues. Never showed for the appointment and never called. 2-3 days later apparently stopped by my house - left me with an "evaluation". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and will NEVER get my business - and SO TYPICAL of INDIANA home service companies. WORST OF ALL, the "evaluation" didn't include any recognition or acknowledgement of my 2 VERY OBVIOUS gutter issues, but had a quote for washing the roof!!!

Called the office on June 3, 2009 for an estimate and was told that I would get a call back on the fourth, fifth, or eighth. No one ever called.

We have used this firm for 3 years now. They are professional and reasonably priced.

Company responded quickly to our request for a pricing estimated and suggested changes to the layout of the existing guttering flow layout. They were the only company to make this suggestion which has proved to be very good for handling heavy rain falls. They were on time, cleaned up and did a great job. The install crew even offered suggestions for extending the downspouts underground removing the water further from the house. I have already recommended there services to others looking for gutter replacement.

I was at work when Duane and another person from the company arrived. Coincidentally there was a person there at my house cleaning carpets to let them in. Duane had called me in advance and then called me again once they arrived. Duane took cell phone photos of the 5 areas needing repair and offered to email them to me before he started. They also took off their work shoes when walking through the house to the deck in back to access the roof. This was told to me by the carpet cleaner, who I know well, and he also stated how professional he thought they were. I had also requested an estimate for partial or full replacement of the roof if it was necessary. Duane stated that the roof was good for another 5 to 8 years. I appreciated his honesty as a new roof would be a considerable expense. He stated their company wants customers for the long term, not short term just to make money. Again, I appreciated the honest comments about the condition of my roof and the company's philosophy. I will call them again for any of their services and will recommend them to anyone I know.

They were very professional and honest.

Repaired a section of gutter that had come loose from building. Also had them clean out all gutters and underground downspouts. We had 3 downspouts connecting into one underground pipe that needed cleaning of debris. David found that a dogwood tree had completely clogged the drain with roots and soil. He replaced the entire underground piping on the same visit. Awesome work.
