+ -1 moreDavid Hazen is fantastic. He responds the same day to phone calls and his estimator "Harold" is very professional. The work was completed in one day and they even sent us samples of the leaf guards and paint chips to match the gutters to our paint trim. After the hail storm, David worked with me and my insurance company to provide an estimate to have the gutter covers removed to allow for the new roof. David really cares about quality and the customer's satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire his company again. Outstanding customer service. He even called me from the Philippines before his wedding and emailed me an estimate to send to my insurance company.
Description of Work: Water was seeping into our basement due to inadequate gutters and downspouts. David sent Harold out to the house a few days after I called to give us an estimate and design a plan to improve water run-off. New gutters, downspouts and leaf guards were installed on our home. Due to the new downspouts, we no longer have water issues in the basement.

+ -1 moreMediocre job cleaning up gutter content. Left on our walking stones and dripped on lawn furniture and covers. Did clean up in front yard. Made 2 calls to schedule. Waited all morning for worker to arrive. Ask for proof of insurance and told owner out of town and unable to provide but did assure me of coverage (no proof though). Worker was polite and apologetic about not getting back to me on the phone. Was not a bad experience but could have been better.

+ -1 moreFor years we were customers of this company, but last year they let us down big time! I called for them to come and clean the gutters after the leaves fell. Kept calling - guaranteed that for sure by Thanksgiving everything would be done. Ended up with clogged gutters and ice dams because they never came. I called five times - lots of promises, but no response. Told we were on an automatic Spring/Fall cleaning - no one showed up this spring either! Totally unsatisfied. I even asked should I call someone else because you're too busy and was told no.
Description of Work: After numerous calls and promises of "priority list" and guaranteed to be there dates - never came.

+ -1 moreDavid was very conscientious and very thorough with his work. He called the next day to insure that everything was ok. There were some places that were missed, and he came back the next day to complete it.
Description of Work: The roof was cleaned of the mildew as moss, which was a very dangerous job, and now it looks like new.

+ -1 moreOn the plus side, David was very professional, polite, and apologetic. Other customers seem to be happy with the experience once the work starts. However, there comes a time when excuses are excuses and it is well past that point. 3+ months is an unacceptable turnaround time for any service work of this small scope.
Description of Work: The company did not complete actual work- not yet anyway. I called in May to ask that someone come out and look at a gutter that was damaged in the hail storm. David was very professional and responsive at this point, and offered to have his gutter person come out and look at it even though it was a relatively small job. The gutter person looked at it, measured it, and said they would be in touch as soon as the material came in. In July, I called back to find out what was going on. Oops- they forgot to order the material. Busy, busy, you know. Well, a month later, still busy and still no material in from the vendor. Granted, they don't have total control over the vendor, but 3+ months is a long time to wait for any service, even though it truly wasn't overly critical for me. I don't know if I am going to use them or not at this point. As I said, it is not critical on timing, but I have to say that it hasn't been an impressive customer experience to date.

Mr. Hazen responded promptly but as we discussed what I needed, he pointed out that he doesn't do jobs with gutter screens (which is clearly stated in the company profile but which I had overlooked). He recommended Dudash Enterprises, which is the company I used (with good results). I appreciated Mr. Hazen's speedy response, good nature, and recommendation. If the opportunity arose, I would try him again. **since my job wasn't in the sphere of jobs to be estimated, I have no idea what the actual estimate would have been, but it was a required field--

+ -1 moreMr. Hazen was prompt in returning my call. However, there was a glitch in actually getting a job estimate. I placed a second call, and eventually the quote was received. Mr. Hazen called me to apologize about the delay. He explained that he was trying out a new person to process job estimates, and that it wasn't working out. By this time, I had contracted with another company. Mr. Hazen was sincere in his apologies for the delays, and also took the time to thank me for feedback on his new person. In the future, I might consider his company again, though the price quote was also a bit higher than the company I chose.

+ 0 moreSpoke to Mr. Hazen and explained my problems. He was very prompt in sending a repair man. Repair man was very thorough and spent a lot of time checking and repairing. I had to call again several days later after a rainstorm to report a crack I was worried about and the serviceman man returned promptly, checked it and reassured me that it was fine.
Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and examined trouble spots and made minor repairs.

They also reattached a gutter (at no cost) that another company had missed and noticed some bird damage to my soffits that they also fixed at no charge. They found a place where a potential leak was going to occur on my roof and informed me about it, so I could get that corrected.
