Cooper's Water Conditioning

I called in after hours on Friday night, and ended up with a sales appointment on Saturday afternoon. Sales rep arrived on time, was very professional, and went through the options, including installation options. We settled on the equipment and price. We were expecting to install the equipment later the following week, but an appointment opened up and the equipment was installed two days after agreement. 4 days total from start to finish. Installer was very professional, knew what he was doing (and why he was there), and was very personable. Installation was smooth (house was not pre-plumbed, but still only took about 30 minutes for the plumbing work), and everything was delivered as expected. Equipment is new, so I can't comment on longevity or support.

Everything went well. We scheduled an estimate and within a few days, we had a water softener.

The system was installed the same day as the initial call. The price was considerably cheaper than a quote from a plumber for an equivalent system. System works well.

The problem was correctly diagnosed on the first call but it took 3 trips to get it fixed. As it turns out the replacement part was not glued together correctly and didn't hold together. While Cooper's Water may have gotten a bad part but they were responsive and stayed with it until it was fixed. Tenacity is important. I will use them again.

Arrived on schedule, completed installation quickly, hauled off old unit. New unit had minor leak, installer returned and resolved the issue in a timely manor.

I called to ask them to come by and help. They told me how to fix without even batting an eye. Looking forward to working with them in the future!

Low-pressure sales approach. Focused on high customer satisfaction.

Everything is working great. I had concerns about a drop in water pressure from the resevoir tank in the basement up to the first floor faucet and fridge, which had been an issue with my Kinetico RO drinking system for many years. (Yes, I changed the filters and membrane religiously). Mr. Cooper suggested a slight variation to their standard 4-stage RO system for my application, the Puromax HR3 with permeate pump. The permeate pump makes the RO membrane work better, makes less cast-off water, and most important to me, allows more of the city water pressure to make it to the delivery part of the system. Now I have excellent water pressure at the fridge and sink upstairs. I had to wait about a week because they were booked full, but it was worth the wait. Note - I also let the Cooper team replace my water softener a couple of years ago. I am still thrilled with that decision too. Scott prescribed a carbon tank on the softener to remove the chlorine in the whole house, and I highly recommend that too. Believe me, you don't notice how much chlorine is in the water in your shower or tap water - until it has been removed. The water system is using an increasing amount of chlorine and that chemical is corrosive to all your fittings and appliances. I will never be without soften/chlorine-free/filtered water again. Just like anything in life you can pay a little, pay more, or pay a whole-lot. You rarely get more than you pay for. I have judged Cooper's products to be of excellent quality for a fair price (somewhere in the "middle" category). Sure I could have bought one of those $250 RO systems off Amazon and tried to install it myself. But by going with a dealer I know I have the right equipment, and that it was installed properly. Even better - I have someone to go to if it is not. Not to mention I saved myself about 12 trips to Home Depot for plumbing fittings and parts. And you cannot discount the value of professional plumbing work, how much does a flooded basement cost if you messed up your DIY install? The Cooper team is fair, experienced, and very competent. Their installer Mike was friendly and professional too. You can always tell a lot about a tradesman by how he handles the trash during a project and by how many trips he makes to the truck. Mike was efficient in both. Very pleased. If you are looking for softened or filtered water, be sure to get a bid from Cooper.

The experience was good. Scott came out on a Saturday to do the estimate so that I did not have to take time off work. Thomas showed up to do the install early, and was gone in about 90 minutes.

Our new water softener along with our new under the kitchen sink water filter system from Cooper's Water LLC are the two best home appliance purchases we have ever made! In 7 weeks time we have already experienced multiple benefits with the softer water --- and also love the fresh clean drinking water (and saving the money from not buying bottled water anymore). Scott Cooper was an excellent sales rep, listening to our needs, answering all questions and not trying to oversell us. The installers (Mike and Thomas) were efficient, friendly and thorough as well. They were professional. He first through it was electrical but he checked and realized that was not the problem. He checked other things and explained everything to me. He saw both panels were out and that was uncommon.

Scott was wonderful! I had inherited (with my home purchase) a water softener, reverse osmosis system, dechlorinator and was uncertain if the 15 year old system was working properly. I fully expected to be "sold" a new system and I was wonderfully surprised by a company that educated me on my system, tested the components (which are still working perfectly) and was told the system is working wonderful! No hard sell! Absolutely honest and will recommend them over and over again!

Very fast and professional installation. Installer took me through step by step on how the softener works and any sort of maintenance that will be needed throughout its life.

Scott was very knowledgeable but did not provide me enough information to make the decision. I think he has a good product to offer and probably good service but he didn't seem to care if I knew that. I have not selected a contractor to perform the work.
