Cooper's Water Conditioning

Everything went very smoothly from the start. Dealing with the company over the phone was efficient and pleasant. The service person who came to the house was extremely conscientious and professional.

I called and got Scott Cooper on the phone. He came over to give the estimate in about an hour. He gave us great explanation and many reasonable options, being that our new (to us) house had never had a water softener, and the installation would be a little more difficult. It turns out what we paid to get a good, not hardly used, water softener installed from Cooper would be what it would have cost to get an inferior softener installed from Sears. They installed the softener the next day in about an hour and a half. I can't recall the installer's name, but he was very clean, polite, and did great work. We are very happy with the service we got and would definitely use Cooper again.

They explained how the system worked and made certain all our questions were answered. Additionally, they are competitive in pricing and a local bushiness. We are very satisfied with the system.

I called and spoke to Craig Cooper. Craig asked what problems we were having and offered various suggestions. After considering the options we opted for a replacement. He came out the same day I called, offered to do a water test and answered all of my questions. In addition to a softener we bought a Reverse Osmosys System (RO) system for drinking water. Craig provided the benefits of having a RO system as well as a very competitive price. We had a RO system previously and when you drink a lot of water, they really make sense versus bottled water. The installation of the softener and RO took place the same afternoon as the day I called. The installer and installation were very professional. This was the first time we have used Cooper and would certainly use them again. We chose them based on feedback from Angie's List.

I would use them again! They do more than they have to, really do a good job.

They were very through in their in-home sales pitch. We looked at three options and thought they were the best value for the money, and still do. On hookup there was a small leak but they came right out and repaired it immediately.

The sales presentation was very professional and not pushy at all. Scott explained why ours was beyond repair and how the new system would be better. He also explained the competition so we could make an informed choice. When we told he we were going to get estimates, he was totally OK with that. When we did decide to use them they came out within 2 days. The installer was very clean, friendly and professional. The whole job took less than 2 hours.

We have been having problems with an old water softener system and in the last two years the repair people have tried to fix it five times. We were told it would be 2000 to replaced it. We called Cooper's instead and our new system was installed in 3 days for less than half the price. We are very happy with it. Our dishes are finally coming out of the dishwasher super clean! I felt that Cooper's Water Conditioning was honest, quick, and hassle free.

Mr. Cooper came promptly on a weekend a few days after we called. He explained our options and we had it installed the following Monday. The install went well and we are very satisfied with the product. His installer was professional, polite, worked efficiently and cleaned up when he was done. He was careful of the carpet and removed his shoes every time he entered on his own initiative. The price was reasonable and we are pleased with the soft water. We recommended his company to a work colleague and they were also very satisfied with the service his company provided.

I had had Coopers out in January to deal with a leak on my existing water softer. The leak was fixed but we talked about replacing the unit as it was old and not performing to today's standards. I called back in June to discuss the options. The call was very informative. Two days later a new softer was installed. The tech was on time, professional, and cleaned up. I was given a credit for my service call as well as a discount for cash.

He's been out a few times now, and he's very nice and does a good job.

When the water softener was purchased two to three years ago it was recommended to use Morton salt pallets. The gentlemen from Cooper's water softeners told us that can form a sludge in the bottom of the tank, which is preventing the salt from working. The gentlemen from Cooper's recommended another salt brand that had sea salt crystal in it. The gentleman at Cooper's was offering free advice over the phone didn't charge us for a service call. We will use his advice when the pellets that we used just recently dissolve and if his advice doesn't work out then we will give Cooper's another call. I liked the fact that the gentleman at Cooper's was willing to give me advice over the phone then coming out and charging me an expensive service charge.

THEY DID SOME EDUCATION ABOUT THE SOFTENER AND HE WAS VERY PATIENT. HE TOLD US SOME WAYS THAT WE COULD SAVE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY PUNCTUAL AND JUST A TOP-NOTCH SERVICE GUY.

They did a good job. The sales person was responsive to all inquiries. He was very professional and seemed to be unbiased. They had a good price. The work was done quickly and we would use them again.

The installation went like clock work. The installer arrived a few minutes past the agreed time, but called ahead to advise on the arrival time. All items were located to the appropriate area, and the necessary connections were made. Jason was very pleasant and was more than willing to explain each step. Maintenance items were covered, and recommendations were given to us.

Great company to work with. They explained my options to me over the phone, showed up on time to do the work, and consulted with me regarding which size to install (both sizes cost the same). Afterward, when I had trouble with lack of cold water pressure, they came out the day after I called and cleared the filter on the clothes washer and on one of the bathroom sinks. They even tested my water to make sure that the softener was working properly and to confirm that the softener was bypassing the drinking water spout on the refrigerator. Their prices are excellent, and so is their service. I recommend them highly.

Cooper's were knowledgeable, responsive and friendly, and provided great service. They were on time both for the sales appointment and to install the equipment. The wrong spigot was installed for the RO system and they reworked their schedule to come back when we requested. They were very quick to install-we met with Mr. Cooper on Wednesday evening and the installation was done two days later on Friday morning. We contacted two other companies and Cooper's was by far the most competitive price. My only suggestion is that their literature could be more professional looking. Also, we did not get a booklet for the entire water softener system but only for just the meter, and the booklet for the RO system refers to a different model than was installed.

We consulted with Scott Cooper over the phone before determining to move forward with them. We had a GE Smart Softener that was purchased 11/02 at Home Depot for $499. We paid them $181 to install it and they didn't do it properly. (Lesson learned: we will never make that mistake again!) The GE softener stopped working around 3 years later. Due to financial constraints, we put off having a professional come out to look at it. So we went around 1 1/2 years with a non-functioning softener. Scott informed us that GE Softeners from local home improvement stores are notorious for having a life span of 38 months, which is almost exactly when ours decided to stop working. He said it would cost more to repair it then it would to replace it. We weighed the options of renting VS. buying. He offered us a like new re-conditioned unit, including removal of the GE softener and installation all for $556.50. We chose to move forward & are very happy with the new softener and outstanding service.

They did a good job. My only complaint is that they couldn't give me a manual for the particular model.
