I subscribed to their maintenance agreement and it was invaluable when our furnace went out in the below zero weather. They answered the phone on a Sunday night and told us how to bypass our heat pump to get heat into the house and came out first thing Monday morning to repair it. They had the right parts and the furnace was up and running again in just over an hour. This company does my ac and furnace maintenance every year as well and I would not use any other company.

It cost zero because I'm under an annual plan with them. In fact I need to call them today to make another appointment. In December of 2015, they installed an entire new system in my home. I wouldn't trust this company to install a brand new system in my home if I didn't very much trust them. The total installation was 8 hours.

We were putting off the inevitable.

They were so great, I really can’t think of anyway that they can improve. They were just fast, we were without heat and they took care of us right away, cause we have little kids. They were professional and clean.

The install went smoothly. They made great progress each day. The installers never seemed to stop moving during the times we were home. They worked with us and adjusted schedules to allow us to replace flooring while the unit was out. They fixed several unrelated issues from the prior homeowner's botched installation and really appeared to go above and beyond. Added a smart thermostat we had purchased to new system and came back out the next day to address some issues with that. Everything was functioning great in the end. The only real comment or time I lifted a finger during the whole process was after the fact while checking out the install in the attic I noticed some of the insulation had not been re settled around some of the new required holes. I have a feeling they would have came back and fixed immediately, but in a few minutes I had put it all back myself. Looking forward to a much more comfortable winter.

They're great. I have no problems with them. They're reliable, they come when they say. They're very quick to fix things if you have a problem. They are very pleasant to deal with when you call them on the phone. They do good work. Their prices are reasonable. They always put their cover-shoes on and they are very polite.

Five years ago or something, I had Control Tech put in a system for me. They've always been great. I have a service contract. I just renewed it, it was $193.50 for a year of service contract. I have a warranty with them and I run my service through them every year.

They were very knowlegeable and responsive. We would highly recommend them as well.

I've used Control Tech for HVAC issues for a few years now. I highly recommend them. They are a local family owned company - which is a bonus. I typically have my HVAC serviced in the spring and again in the fall by Control Tech. I had the spring tune up appointment scheduled for the latter part of June - but last week noticed that I had water on the floor by the furnace area. I called Control Tech to report the problem, and they were at my door within a matter of a few hours. The tech walked me through what the issue was, and even provided advice as to how to prevent the issue from happening again - which I greatly appreciate. The office staff at Control Tech is always very prompt, pleasant and courteous to work with and the technicians have always been very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. Control Tech was good to work with during the preliminary stage of collecting information on HVAC replacement. Clay came out to our house, made recommendations of three different systems and spent time answering questions on followup phone calls. We decided to go with Control Tech due to their reputation, the quality of Lennox systems and the pricing. t took two days to install all four units (upstairs and downstairs). 2-3 men were here to install. Kept us informed of progress, worked efficiently, quietly and cleanly. Explained how to program thermostats when installation was done. Very professional.

This company was excellent. Initially I asked for a service and their diagnosis of the problems in our systems was fair and accurate (I sought several diagnoses from different companies). The sales consultation that followed (with Jeramy) was not at all pushy but was very expert and professional. When it came time to have the installations carried out (over two days) the installers were very courteous and explained everything in detail. Their work was neat and tidy and we have not had any problems. I was particularly impressed when I asked if the furnaces should be vented to the exterior of the house rather than to the crawl space to which the old units vented. Although they originally did not quote for the extra work they agreed this this would be better and they carried out the external venting free of charge. All in all I am very glad I chose this company and would certainly recommend them.

They actually called me ahead of my scheduled Nov. appt. as I asked to be called if they got an earlier cancelation. Well they did, they called, and they came out much earlier to my delight. The technician arrived on time, was courteous, understood the furnace and humidifier workings, replaced the humidified pad which is why there was a charge, however with my annual maintenance agreement I did receive a nice discount for that part. He cleaned and service the furnace, and got everything ready for winter heat. I trust this company 100% with my home! Always a pleasure to work with.

I had used Control Tech for 19 years at a previous home in Carmel. When I moved back, and purchased my new condo, I scheduled them to do service on the heating and cooling systems of my condo, since neither unit had been serviced in 3 years. Control Tech has Saturday appointments if you schedule ahead, and that was very convenient! In addition, they have a nice 3 time service contract where they check the units 3 times a year for a flat fee. I found that very helpful in preventing issues with my prior house, so the service for the heat and air counted as 2 of the services, which worked fine for me. The technician was on time, and put on booties to walk through my house because I have white carpeting. I had purchased a new wifi thermostat between the time of making the service appointment and his arrival, so I asked to have him install it, which he did for a nominal extra charge. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than just un-hooking one and re-hooking another, but he was great and found the electrical connection to the thermostat where the old one had been battery operated. The technician explained everything he found and explained to me how the unit worked as well. As he found issues, he showed me the parts and explained what was going on. Knowing more about the unit is very helpful! The heater was in pretty good shape. However the air conditioner needed a new part. Because of the service contract, I also receive a discount on parts and service through control tech, so the part that might have cost $180 only cost me $130. I have always found Control Tech to be extremely reliable, and their technicians very informative and easy to understand.

A total of two hours later, Tony has diagnosed the issue, repaired the issues and is gone. Replaced band holding fan motor and a capacitor ( optional repair - based on fluke meter reading - value was low, so would be doing this anyway - soon) I will not miss any work and my home will remain cool during the high heat expected today. All parts needed were on the truck, the tech was polite (Control Tech technicians always are - my experience), cleaned up, and left work area like he was never there.

Without writing a complete story, I would recommend the contractor to anyone that needs service on either or both their heating and air conditioning. The work was done with high standards and respect for the customer. The initial contact was made through Costco and everything was followed through with exceptional degree of customer satisfaction.

It went well. As always, Mike was professional, did the work neatly and quickly and explained everything. Henry and Sobs put in our Trane furnace and AC several years ago and we have always been pleased with service. Would def. use them again.

This company is a rip off. They charge insanely high prices. I'll never call them again.

Things went very well. Initially was going to get a new heat pump. Clay gave me three options (good, better, best) to choose from. After getting proposal, I decided to ask for estimates for a gas furnace/air conditioner system, which is an upgrade since the house never had gas furnace. Again given three options, and I chose the middle option. New air conditioner is working beautifully. Installation quality is far superior to that of system originally installed in house in 1998 when built.

Control Tech installed a new furnace and air conditioner for us in April 2014. When starting to use the AC in 2015, there was a very loud electrical hum/vibration, so loud that we could barely tolerate running the unit. I called and they came out that afternoon and discovered some basement duct work connecting to the AC rubbing against a floor joist. The technician fixed the problem, took extra time to check for any other noise issues and made sure we were okay with the sound when the unit and fan kicked on. He also explained our service plan and answered all of our questions. All of our interactions with Control Tech have been pleasant and professional.

Always arrives on time. Very dependable company. They cleaned and serviced my ac system, however when they went to the basement to take the cover off the furnace/ac, they found water all over the floor and determined that a part had gone bad. They had to order the part and promised they would follow up as soon as it came in. I received a call a day later and they were ready to come back out to fix the unit. I trust this company to the point where I had a neighbor let them in to my home to fix this, as I was out of town at the time they wanted to fix the unit. It was extremely hot that week so I appreciated their promptness. They also determined that the part was under warranty so I had just a minor charge in relation to the entire work done over 2 days time. I love this company and have been using them for 20 years. The staff is wonderful, kind and considerate and very thorough. They do as promised.

Mike arrived a few hours after we called on Saturday morning. He had previously reseated a electronic expansion valve on Tuesday of that week. This time he found the real culprit, a connector to the electronic control boad was not fully connected. Mike was very apologetic, but the fact that he treated our call as an emergency more than made up any inconvenience.
