Well. The chimney was cleaned, rooftop checked and fireplace dusted and restarted.

Very nice people. Arrived on time, did what was needed and left the area around the fireplace tidy. Great experience.

It was okay. I don't know if it was worth it but they were nice. They were here maybe February of 2016. They said there was basically nothing they could do, they really didn't do anything. I just paid them because they came over here. It's just weird having someone do something and it's not much and have to pay that much. There could have been something more they could have done. Based on their history if I had a brick fireplace I would or a different house. They could have a more advanced way of knowing which kind of chimneys they can and cannot do.

These guys definitely went above and beyond. I bought the "buy it now" dryer vent cleaning through the AL website. When the technicians showed up, they realized not only did the vent need cleaning, there was also 1) a large bird's nest stuck in the vent and 2) the mesh was incorrect for our dryer vent type and we didn't have a protective hood/cover (probably how we ended up w/ a birds nest in the first place!). The guys removed the nest, performed the cleaning, and then re-built us a new mesh cover & hood to protect against further incidences, all without extra cost! I'll definitely be recommending Cinder Box all over town!

Very courteous and helpful when I called in with questions. We just purchased a house and needed them to come inspect the chimney. They were at the house 2 days later. Extremely friendly guys. They did a thorough inspection inside and even got on the roof with about 4 inches of snow on it. I appreciated their honesty when they told me I didn't need to pay extra for the sweep. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends!

I initially asked for an estimate to repair my leaky chimney before having a new roof put on my house. After finding that being unused for 15 years and a lot of work needed to be done to repair (basically tear down and rebuild), I revised my request to tearing down the chimney. Although they were quite busy, they knew I was in the middle of a roof replacement and were able to squeeze my project in. Very prompt service on the initial estimate and very prompt service on the actual work. Very happy with the services and price provided.

Mike was very thorough and cleaned the entire chimney. In addition he did a small repair to the crown of the chimney. He also put down a glaze in the box area. We received a senior discount. The company was quick to schedule us and did a great job!

It went as expected. We had moved in and didn't know the condition of our chimney. He did a good job and was very clean.

It went great. The guys who came were professional, showed up a little early (which was nice), and let me know what they were doing each step of the way. They worked quickly, were friendly, and were careful about not making a mess.

The wind was so strong the next day, it blew it back out. The Cinder Box was willing to come back out and relight it again at no additional charge. They were very wonderful. They were neat, tidy, clean; they were just overall really good. I appreciated their input, advice, and service.

They did a great job! They found that we didn't have any concerns with our fireplace. I was really impressed with how thorough they were. They asked for the owners manual to read through so they were extremely knowledgeable on our fireplace.

2 young men arrived on time, introduced themselves, put shoe covers on and put down a tarp to cover my floor They checked the wear and tear of the inside walls of the fireplace and said they were in great condition. Also noticed that some water had leaked in the fireplace which was taken care of by my HOA last year. One of the men went on the roof while the other stayed inside. Because I had less than an 1/8 build up they did not sweep my chimney. The inspection took about 15 minutes they wrote up the order and explained what was done and why no sweep. They were very professional and I would hire them again Note to self: I wasted $95 for no sweep done but I feel comfortable burning my fireplace this year. I will not get a sweep done next year

I am very pleased. They came and removed the old chase and cap and replaced it with a new chase and cap. The went right to work and had the job done in less than an hour. I would use them again.

The representative was extremely nice and very educational. Explained what he was doing, why, what the code was and the best way to care for it in the future. It took about a half hour and he was very thorough. Extremely pleased!
