Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement.

Justin Webb managed our overall exterior project, of which had three stages. Their prices were middle of the road, about average for each part, but used quality materials. I had never had a project this costly done all at one time, so I was anxious until it was completed. all The carpentry crew did a great job. Cleanup was 99% perfect. The only minor issue was that the dumpster and excess material sat in our driveway a couple of days longer than I would have liked and we were therefore unable to use our garage a bit longer. Small nuisance. We couldn't tell much about how it would look until stage two, which was full exterior painting, but we were very pleased. Justin is businesslike and was generally very responsive to my questions, concerns, and scheduling. The exterior painting crew was fantastic. Zero complaints. Very meticulous. The chief painter had some awesome suggestions when I had a vision of how I wanted something done or needed to achieve a specific effect. If you get Polo, count yourself lucky. I recommend paying a little more for Duration paint instead of Super paint from Sherwin Williams. That was suggested by our local paint store. It's much better paint for just a little more cost. The gutter team took a while to get here after the paint was done, but I'm not sure if that was due to their schedule or when Justin ordered the gutters. They were here and gone in a few hours for our single level home. I was somewhat annoyed that they showed up and left unannounced. Maybe they are used to working when no one is home, but I was here and had not expected them. We had permanent leaf guard installed as well as drip edge, which our idiot roofers neglected to do several years ago. The new gutters are big 6" wide ones now instead of our old 4" ones that sagged terribly. The gutters drain properly and we have an almost complete exterior makeover. Our house looks beautiful. Voilá! I am not the easiest person to please nor very trusting of contractors due to multiple bad experiences over a lifetime, sometimes with highly rated companies. However, I would not hesitate to recommend Aztec Homes for siding, painting, or gutters. They do use subs for some services, but that's how it's done these days. We saved a little money on the project by pressure washing the house, planning to install new faux shutters, and planning to paint two of the three exterior doors ourselves.

Hard to get the estimate but once started, the job was done quickly and professionally. We had a hard deadline and they were able to meet it. Price was comparable to other estimates. We went with Aztec because they promised to get it done on time and they did.

In summary, these guys were great! After many bad experiences with contractors, Aztec restored my faith that there are good ones out there. We need our whole house re-sided including new trim and fascia and we needed it done quickly. They turned the whole job around in 10 days from quote to finish. The work was high quality and the price was very reasonable. They are the only company I’ve worked with that did everything they promised on time! Justin was great to work with throughout the process and took care of everything for us. I highly recommend them based on the job they did for me.

Justin was very professional and spent time discussing the work I wished to have completed. I received a list of referrals. Not only did I know one who gave them high ratings, but I could also go view their work at homes near me. The siding crew and painting crew were both very professional, prompt, worked full days to complete the job timely. I had a different contractor for other work on my home and they did a terrible clean up job. Aztec was attentive to clean up with both crews. I felt price was in line with that of the industry and competitors. I would recommend them to anyone.

I wasn't particularly impressed with their approach, partly due to the high price of the quote and partly due to the fact that they only wanted to use siding on the existing and soffit and just paint all the facing and trim boards. He also refused to leave his worksheet with me which seemed a little odd to me.

This is by far the most professional, efficient and quality company/contractor I have used, and I've used many! Justin was my project coordinator and he was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful throughout the whole process as we were scheduling and completing the project while still stationed abroad. The quality is second to none and the prices are extremely competitive for such. I highly recommend Aztec for any project within their scope! My neighbors were thouroghly impressed by the efficiency and quality!

Overall the work done was completed satisfactorily and in appearance is very good. Price is very high. The workers did not speak fluently in English and so it was difficult to communicate but their work was very good and they worked very hard, quickly and long hours to complete in a tight weather window. In any job, there are issues to resolve at the end and this job was no different. Aztec took care of the items I raised to their attention, although I subsequently found that they did not caulk properly around the front door, which was very noticeable via drafts during the very cold temperatures we have had this winter (can't really properly caulk until temperatures rise). Also, Aztec work proposal states they will not paint if temperatures are below 40. The last day of painting was in the 30s, but even though I contacted Aztec office (couldn't communicate with workers), they did paint that day. The primary area for improvement seems to be communication.

We are very satisfied with Aztec's work and the support from our sales rep, Justin. We got 4 quotes from 3 companies for 3 different siding materials, and Aztec was an easy choice to go with. Not only did Aztec have the best quote but they also very responsive and easy to schedule appointments with. They were the only company to include a color consultation, which we took advantage of. We did have an incident resulting in damage to the house, through very unusual circumstances. Justin offered to cover the repair on the spot and, sure enough, the amount was removed from the invoice without any fuss or negotiation. It's rare to find a vendor that easy to work with.

Very quick and efficient work. Two days to replace the siding and two days to paint. Results are excellent.

They tore off the old siding and put on the new. We did lose a day of work because one of their workers was sick. They initially put in new soffits over old, but then corrected it. They did a good job of cleanup as well. We love the finished product.
