The original cedar siding on our house was rotting so we had it replaced with HardiePlank. Product was professionally installed and they paid very close attention to detail. Would use Aztec again.

It went great. They were here on-time and worked late. It was a good experience. The price was exactly as quoted.

It went very well, overall. I am VERY, VERY picky and made that clear from the beginning of the contract. Mike Dittmer was also doing the same work for my sister, who lives right next door. Mike is professional and articulate and was on site often throughout the process, if not every day. I did a LOT of investigation before hiring Aztec and am quite pleased with the results.

Everything they did, they did very well. I'm very happy. They were very punctual, polite, and nice men to work with.

I called Aztec for an estimate and within 24 hours I received a call back and we scheduled an appointment. Sky Block, estimator came to my home listened to the description of the work I wanted completed and then began her measurements. Approximately one week later I received (via email) a written estimate including photos depicting the exact work to be accomplished. Aztec?s estimate was very competitive. Next, Sky set a meeting time to discuss the proposal along with some options that could reduce or increase price. The process was explained very well and I understood exactly what work would be performed and how the work would be performed. After I accepted the proposal, we scheduled a date for the work to begin and worked commenced that day. Each day Aztec?s employees were prompt and cleaned up very well after each days work. As soon a ?demolition? was complete, the dumpster necessary to hold discarded materials was taken away. Sky stopped by our house during each phase of work making sure things were progressing as promised. Additionally, she stayed in contact with me via txt letting me know status etc? Work was completed timely and my questions were answered promptly. Overall, Aztec did a great job and I would not hesitate to use them again.

This company was amazing! After dealing with an incompetent contractor for six months, we called several companies to quote on finishing our siding project. Out of all of the companies that quoted, this group had the most satisfied customers, the most experience, the most knowledge and the highest ratings. From the beginning of this project they went above and beyond to fit us into their schedule early since our home had been unfinished and exposed to the elements all winter. They were also sensitive to the fact that we had spent a lot of money working with the previous group and worked with us on price. They started the job when they said they would, they finished the job when they said they would, and consistently went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the work throughout the project. I can't say enough good things about this company and I wish more of the contractors in this town were like them!

I initially contacted Ryan about replacing some delaminated fiber cement siding. We ended up contracting Aztec to re-paint the entire exterior of our home and replace the damaged siding. The job came off with no problems. Ryan's crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. They also did an excellent clean-up after the job was finished. It took two days to complete the work. We were very pleased with the quality and price. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

The owner Ryan Oros was professional, timely and courteous. I called and left a voicemail and 2 days later Ryan was out to quote the project. I received the quote in a timely manner (within a few days). I didn't choose this contractor for the job because the price was higher than another contractor I thought would do an equal or better job on the project.

Sales person was professional and provided a very extensive proposal. Priced a number of companies and Aztec wasn't cheapest but offered a fair price. Proposal offers a color consultant from Sherwin Williams. We didn't find it was very helpful. Had a little difficulty with communication as change orders and gaining an understanding of when employees would be at our home were not always communicated to us the homeowner. Still with communication, sometimes workers at our home did not understand English very well and it made it hard to understand what was happening in process. One time, no one at our home understood English. This all said, the final product was excellent, we felt the price was fair, and we would definitely hire this company again. We are very picky people. Tried to contact Aztec to replace the siding on my home, left a voice mail. Never received a return phone call.

Started out with a questions mark as staggered shake was applied over the first 1/3 by mistake. When the error was caught it was immediately taken care of. Aztec showed up on time every day, did the work exactly as planned, and went over and above to make certain that we were 100% satisfied. Pricing as quoted was spot on and was directly in line or better than the other contractor's quotations. The poor weather has not allowed Aztec the ability to get it painted yet, but in speaking with Ryan at the Home Show this weekend, he was the first to tell me that it would be done a soon as the weather breaks. From start to finish, Sky, Ryan, and their crew did an excellent in exceeding our expectations.

Aztec gave us the lowest bid of the three Angie's list contenders that we contacted. Brett helped us choose plan, materials and colors. The house looks fabulous! Best in the neighborhood now. There were little delays at times because of weather and suppliers - nothing we couldn't live with - and even then Ryan did things to "compensate" like painting the garage door at no extra cost! And he showed up for final inspection and did some touch up painting himself so it would be "the way he would want on his own home".

Overall, very satisfied with the job done by Aztec. As with any job of this nature, there were a few minor issues, but Ryan went out of his way to fix every little issue to our complete satisfaction (and more). He was very knowledgeable about every aspect and detail of the job and explained in detail when asked. Our home looks beautiful, and both the siding and the paint job were top notch. Again, couldn't be happier with the job and our choice of Aztec as the contractor. Great job!

Their estimate was right in the middle of other estimates. We were promised a Pella window for the replacement. When the window arrived, it did not fit and had to reorder. Once the new window came in, it was not the Pella window we agreed upon. It as not a window comprable. But besides the window, the door was done well and the siding was great. The door looks good but we thought it was going to look new based on the foreman's promise. I feel like the communication could have been better through the experience.

We had a two car detached garage with a one bedroom above that was an absolute train wreck. The siding was falling off, the soffits needed to be completely rebuilt and the windows hardly worked. Aztec was great! Brett came out and was able to formulate a quote with high quality materials and was able to work well with some of the other contractors that needed to do some work before they could begin. Brett also did a great job staying within my budget. They arrived when they said they would and they completed the project in a timely manner. In today's world, that is saying something! They ripped off a section of the roof and put an almost flat roof back up so we can put on a deck at a later date. With a project this size I expected there to be a few bumps in the the road and there were. Aztec was excellent at addressing each of them with only a phone call and a pleasant conversation. The place looks amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! Ryan,one of the owners, was also one of the easiest guys to work with as well. His follow up to ensure that my wife and I were happy with the job is something that we valued very much. Overall, we had a great experience working with Aztec!

Aztec is professional from start to finish. Brett came out and spent a lot of time explaining what Aztec would do. We walked around the house with a camera and detailed everything that would be replaced. Once he had the photos and quote he sat down again to confirm everything that we wanted done. He made numerous great suggestions not only on the technical aspect of what needed to be replaced but also on the use of both plank and shingles from a cosmetic standpoint. Aztec also provided us with a Sherman Williams color coordinator. Kim listened to what we were looking for and helped us choose the colors we wanted. Aztec started and finished exactly when they said they would. The reside crew was wonderful. I would never have believed they could finish a 5,000 sq ft house in the time they did. They were here early, stayed late, cleaned everything up every night and worked harder than I have ever seen a construction crew work. Having a older house we have had numerous crews working on projects but the reside crew was tops by far! Best of all they were always smiling, always happy and spent a lot of time explaining what they were doing and why they were doing it. Once the siding was on the painters took over. the head painter was friendly and once again offered numersous great suggestions. He has a lot of expereince and was a wonderful source of knowledge both with how allthe trim should be don, to how th eporch floor should be painted to color choices. I have already had two peope ask me for his name, they were so impressed with the finished product. Everything Aztec did was professional, on time and done with expereince. Brett and Ryan (construction foreman) must have answered a hundred questions. They were patient and knowledgable. I choose Aztec because of their numerous high ratings on Angie's List. I was very happy I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In additionl to writing this review I have also made it clear that Aztec is more than welcome to allow future customers to come view their work or call me.

Their crews were fast, efficient, professional, and did a great job cleaning up. They were extremely courteous. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others. I can't say enough good things-from the sales representative, to the owner, to the sub-contractor, everyone was eager to please.

Ryan Oros, one of the owners came out and met with the insurance adjuster with me. He worked through the entire process with me. The workmanship was outstanding and Ryan was at the house regularly to check up on the work. In one case Ryan's guys put on the wrong colored window trim. I was not concerned because we have worked with Aztec before and we knew they would make it right. As expected, Ryan followed up and made sure that everything was just as should be. This is the second time that we have used Aztec. About 4 years ago they put cement board siding on our house. I will almost certainly use Aztec for any future construction work we have. They are the gold standard.

Aztec was great with their pricing Brett even gave us a better deal than he originally thought. Ryan the project manager was great to work with as well. Jose the painter and crew were the nicest people and they were very organized. All the Aztec crew cleaned up and were respectful of our property. We had a a few little misunderstandings but all worked out. Thanks again for the beautiful house!!!

Late last fall central Indiana suffered a pretty major hail storm. With hail stones in the 1-3" range, it shredded leaves off of trees like I've never seen before, dented cars and in our case beat up our roof, gutters garage door, pool liner and T1-11 siding, some which I had planned to replace this fall. The T1-11 siding on the west side of the house over our garage had not been properly flashed when installed by the previous owner, so when the storm came thru, it literally shredded the siding, exposing the garage door header that due to that lack of proper flashing would also need to be replaced. After much homework (thanks Angie's List) and discussions with a couple of contractors we selected Aztec to perform a reside of our house. We worked closely with Brett Schubert, coming up with a Scope of Work based on our own expectations, input from the various contractors we had talked to and Brett's input. Brett provided a detailed and thorough scope of work with pictures of our house from all sides that showed notations of what was to be done where. In addition to the normal bits and pieces involved with residing they also replaced the garage door header that had major wood rot. An architectural "feature" of our house included some exposed roofing joists that were evident on the front porch and at another spot on the front of the house.....minor in scope but we wanted them boxed in, which Aztec easily handled. From signing of the contract to completion of the work, probably a max of four weeks expired. To say the least we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Our house is 90% T1-11 siding and 10% field stone. So the visual impact of going from T1-11 to a traditional lap siding was very dramatic, but we went the extra step of having Aztec place random edge shakers in the upper 2/3's of all the gables of the house. Since we sit on a corner, we felt the extra money required to do this would increase the houses curb appeal, no matter what curb you're standing at, in lieu of only applying the shakers to the front of the house. Aztec also coordinated a visit from a friendly color consultant from Sherwin Williams. Susan came out to the house two weeks prior to the start of the work and gave us great recommendations for colors to compliment the existing field stone and new roof. The house is a single story ranch, approximately 2100 sf living space and would have been a daunting task if I had decided to do this myself.....but Aztec's capable installation crew had the house resided in three days! The scope was to install the James Hardie fiber-cement siding over the existing T1-11 siding, replacing the existing siding where necessary to provide a solid substrate. They put in some very long days, two were definitely into the 9 to 9:30pm time frame before they quit for the day....taking maximum advantage of the daylight. Even as the first boards were going onto the house (after Aztec had installed the James Hardie house wrap) we couldn't wait to see the final product. Their crew of three had two men mounting what the third man had just cut. It was amazing to see them work, with the installers calling out dimensions of cuts, the third man cutting and on and on.....these guys were GOOD....and fast. Weather forced a short postponement of the painting but it was done in two days once we had a break in the rains! Jose' was very attentive to detail and kept us apprised of his painting, warning us to not fret if the colors didn't look right. He would tell us there was still a second coat here to do or that coat needed more time to dry before the true color would show. At the end of the second day we walked around the house with him to look for anything that needed touching up, we didn't find anything but he did, which he quickly addressed. Now we're the talk of the neighborhood for all the right reasons! The house looks great! I would strongly recommend you talk to Aztec for any siding project you may have! From Brett to Ryan Oros, their project manager, to the rest of their crew, we couldn't have asked for a more professional crew. Job well done folks!

They were a good company. The had a competitive price. They did a decent job.

We had contacted Aztec last fall to come out and do an estimate for replacing siding, gutters and the doors of our house. Brett came out and did the estimate and seemed very nice and professional. We decided not to have any work done at the time and held off until spring. Brett came out with a colleague and provided a new estimate and encouraged us to sign right away as fiber cement prices were going to increase April 1st due to hurricane Sandy reconstruction. We had told him that we were not ready but he had already drafted a contract for us to sign and was very short with us when we told him no and that we were waiting for other estimates. During this time we had two other estimates done and we were told that fiber cement prices were definitely not increasing. It still came down to Aztec and a competitor and, while Brett ultimately did offer a slightly lower price, we were not comfortable working with Brett due to the high pressure sales and misinformation.

We worked with Ryan from Aztec. He was professional, thorough and kind. We had cedar siding that was original to our house that needed to be replaced. Meanwhile, the hail storm had occurred and we were approved for a new roof from our insurance. Ryan was helpful and informative each step of the way. We always knew what was happening and whenever we had a question he was quick to answer. Our roof was done in one day. The workers were amazingly efficient and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. (My only very small suggestion in the whole process is that I think the roofers could find a better way to cover plants. I had a couple broken branches on bushes. It was minimal, but the only area of room for improvement that I could come up with, which is a testament of how great everyone was.) Next came the siding. A team of three men completed that portion of the work in just two days. Again, very hard workers who were also kind and respectful. Their work was impeccable. Jose and his painting team came in next. We can't say enough great things about Jose. He clearly takes great pride in his work and it shows! Finally, our gutters were replaced in a matter of about four hours. It was truly an easy, seamless process. Aztec was a fantastic company to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend them. We have had tons of compliments on our house and are incredibly pleased with the results. Although I'm confident that their work will last for years to come, if we ever needed work done, i would have Ryan and his team back without hesitation.

Aztec did a fantastic job repairing the damage on my home. I asked them to build a drip edge for my porch, and they knew exactly what I was talking about, and built it to perfection. I inspected all of their work after done, and their work exceeded my expectations. My house looks better than what it did before the storm! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of repairs to their home.

They were supposed to show up on 5/31/13 to deliver the written estimate. They never showed up, and never called.
