Description of Work: They replaced the vinyl siding on our house with fiber cement board as part of an Angie's List Big Deal. Once we made contact with them, they were responsive, got us scheduled, and the crew on site worked very hard and was very detailed in their work. When they identified damage to the house upon removal of the siding, they immediately identified reasonable costs for repair, completed the repairs, and then resumed the re-siding process. They have been attentive and responsive through the project.

Description of Work: I used Aztec Homes due to their good rating on Angie's list. They resided my house from vinyl to cement fiber board, including some new façade work, painting and gutters. The salesman Matt (who is no longer there) was great although extremely busy. This job was more difficult than the average due to using board and batten on an existing house and some coordination with some new framing on the façade. I have built many houses in the past as a builder, so I understand construction and the challenges that working on existing homes entail. I never met Ryan, but Mike was great to work with. They tried extremely hard to have good communications, although there are multiple layers of people to go through which became cumbersome at times. I especially liked the siding guys and the painters were good too. I had some issues with the painter, Jose, but in the end he came through and took care of everything including some nasty over-spray. The only thing they wouldn't do is order white downspout adapters to match the existing pipes, so I have black in between white. That will be a little hassle for me to change as they have to be special ordered and take the gutters loose to do it, but in the scope of things it wouldn't keep me from using them again; not even close. Again, I say this was an extremely difficult job, with a lot of adds and subtracts as the job progressed. I appreciate their willingness to give and take in a fair way. Mike is a class guy and I can heartily recommend Aztec for anything they quote you on.

He maintained constant communication with me prior to the start of the work, during the work, and upon completion.
Description of Work: Aztec removed my old siding, and replaced it with James Hardie fiber cement siding. Aztec also managed the painting of the siding. I was impressed that they also painted all of the wood trim that the siding comes into contact with to ensure blending of the colors. The yard and landscape were cleaned up every evening and the work site was left in great condition.

+ -1 moreMy experience with Aztec homes was very positive. Mike the owner was very professional. He actually took the time to walk us around the home to explain how the work would be performed and what to expect during the instillation. The proposal was very complete and easy to understand. Aztec was not the lowest quote, but I felt confidant that they were the right co. for the job because of Mike. They have their own installers and they did an excellent job! Our yard was left cleaner than I expected every evening and the final clean up was excellent. During the install mike and the crew foreman made suggestions about some additional trim that improved the looks of our home, and did the additional work at no additional cost to me. The painting was excellent. Mike visited the job every day to make sure I was things were going as scheduled. I was very pleased with Aztec homes and would recommend them to any one with siding needs.
Description of Work: Removed all existing siding and trim, removed Debra from job site. They wrapped the house in typar material to insulate and seal structure. Installed all new trim around windows ,doors etc. Installed fiber cement siding on home and painted the whole house.
