Everything these guys did was extremely professional and focused on our total satisfaction. David and Mike are great to work with. They really believe in doing what's RIGHT for the customer, and it shows. The work was completed ahead of original schedule, the crews were polite and professional, and they did an amazing job. During the final walk through, the owner noticed a few very minor issues and took care of them on the spot. We really appreciated the fact that this company does siding AND painting (who doesn't need both??).

Our home is a Tudor style and it's important to us to maintain the look with the same scale, etc. After 21 years the original siding was rotten in some areas and has water damage in others. We wanted to replace the rotten areas now & address the other areas in a few years. We explained the importance of maintaining the present look, especially because only part of the house was being done at this time. Aztec was not the cheapest estimate, but we felt they would do the best job. David Mills explained the process for installing the new siding in detail and provided warranty information. He brought a product sample, pictures of homes Aztec has sided and provided references. The application went relatively smoothly. We wished Mike Dittmer, the owner and project manager, was a little more accessible during the installation process. The paint was matched to the existing paint and the job was completed in about day, with a day's delay for painting due to rain. It looks like the original.

We underwent a long bidding process since all companies were so busy after the storms. It took a while to get various proposals and compare them. Aztec provided one of the more comprehensive proposals with details about materials and what specific work was needed to complete the project. Photos were taken of all four sides of the house and garage aided in communication. David Mills was knowledgable and easy to work with as was the owner Mike Dittmer. We wanted some very specific products as well as a few variations in material upgrades priced and they obliged several times. At present we are scheduled and waiting for the first stage of the project (roofing) to begin. We will file another report when all the work is completed.

The project went very well. We had hail damage in April and our insurance adjuster mentioned hardiplank. From there, I did a little research about the product and used Angie's list to find a contractor. We contacted Aztec Homes for an estimate and a representative was out within a matter of days. The estimate was professionally prepared and everything was explained to us. At the end of the presentation, we were told "we won't pester you, but we hope you will choose us." I liked the low pressure attitude. After we signed, we were provided with a scheduled start date contingent on roofing work being completed. We notified Aztec when the roofing was completed and our work was actually started sooner. The workmanship was excellent. The workers were wonderful and kept the yard clean. Mike stopped by several times during the course of the project and actually allowed us to add vents to ease the heating/cooling situation in our attic. We have recommended Aztec to our neighbors.

Aztec quoted job and was very competitive with two other siding companies. Salesperson, work crews, and owner were pleasurable to work with. Work was done in a timely manner according to schedule. Workmanship was excellent. One minor issue came up which when brought to owner's attention was resolved completely to owner's satisfaction. Fantastic work overall! I have already recommended them to others and will do so in the future.

Dealing with Mike at Aztec was absolute pleasure. His professionalism and commitment to doing the job right was welcomed. I have received numerous compliments on my homes new exterior and would highly rec. Aztec for your siding needs!

Our experience with Aztec Homes was very positive. Dave and Mike were thorough and professional. They made themselves available to answer any questions and gave us their cell phone numbers so they could be reached easily. The siding and painting crews were conscientious and polite and kept things moving along. We were very pleased with the end result.

The last time I called was on July 25 and they have not called me back. I would not recommend them.

They cleaned up after themselves each day, and left the yard in great shape. The painters were good, and painted everything contracted to paint. Overall a great experience. I was very impressed with Aztec even though I was not able to use them due to my insurance company's unwillingness to pay for fiber cement siding as a replacement for my hail damaged aluminum siding. Mike came out and took pictures of my house and then put together a great customized estimate. I thought their pricing was very reasonable. They were extremely professional and I would recommend them for anyone looking into fiber cement siding.

What's the highest grade you can give? They were absolutely marvelous. They were polite, prompt, and professional, and they also had a better quote than two of the others we contacted.

We did get another estimate and he definitely lower. He is the nicest guy. He makes you fell like you've known him forever. And he's honest. I would definitely have him again.

Work was professional and completed by the scheduled date. Mike and his crew were great in getting the work done. Initially, there was a problem with the windows from the manufacturer. This pushed the installation back about a week, and Mike called us immediately to let us know. We had ordered beige exterior and white interior, and the windows came in all beige. When Mike called, he sounded more upset than we were. Once the problem was corrected at the factory, everything went off without a hitch. Great contractor, I would/will use him again, and have already recommended him to several other people. The best experience I have had when dealing with a contractor.

Mike and Chad were a joy to work with. The painting crew was superb. They came in and in less than a week caulked, painted, and trimmed out my entire 3700 square foot house. We were a little unsure of paint colors and had talked to 3 different contractors about the project. The other two contractors were more expensive, and did not provide feedback on color choice. Mike was able to give us the best price, and provide us some insight into what color choices would make the most sense. The finished product looks like a whole different house. It is exactly the way we envisioned it and the workmanship is flawless. Three weeks after the work was completed, Mike called to make sure we were still happy with the job and to see if there was anything that we had overlooked during the final walk around. When does a contractor that has been paid call back to make sure you are happy? I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs exterior painting done.

We went into this project with some apprehension having had a bad experience with another contractor on a previous home. We explained the situation to Mike, and expressed our desire to be kept in the loop about progress and decisions. Mike's no problem attitude was a complete turn around from our last experience. His statement to me when we signed the contract was I want you to be as picky as you can be when as we are doing this work. I want you to walk away from this experience happy and with no regrets. During the walk around for the final punch list, I pointed out a few things that were minor and probably only noticeable to me. He once again showed his no Problem attitude, and refused a partial payment until the work was up to my satisfaction. Mike's attitude is, Until you are satisfied, I have not completed the job. I should not get paid until you are satisfied. I plan on hiring Mike and his crew for all my exterior work. Truly, a contractor you can trust.

Enjoyable overall experience. The entire project took longer than expected due to weather conditions; however, the thoroughness of Mike and the workers was great. Aztec even offered expert paint advice! Our house looks great and the gutters are very effective. We enjoyed working with Aztec and will recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent experience! The quote was reasonable, Matt was very knowledgeable about the product and installation. The work was completed in the time allotted and the workmanship was exemplary. The crew cleaned up the site, you could not tell they had been there, even after the old siding was removed and the new installed. They were careful with our landscaping and the paint job was better than we could have asked for. Matt pointed out some other areas of concern that we had not noticed. We will have Aztec address these items. I would highly recommend this company!!

The proposal was complete and easy to understand. They were not the lowest quote, but we felt confident that the job would be completed correctly because of Mike. The company has their own installers and they did an excellent job. We were gone during the day but neighbors mentioned that the crew members were very polite. Great company to work with - Mike was very prompt with the estimate and all follow-up calls. Replacing siding can be a messy job - they cleaned up each and every evening and left the yard clean. They didn't expect to be paid until the job was done to our satisfaction.
