I found them on Angie's List and they had a lot of positive stuff and feedback and they did a good job. Their prices are competitive and I will use them again in the future.

Overall, the project went smoothly. The project took five working days, minus the interior finish work on the doors. The Aztec staff worked very expediently and efficiently to complete the project. Remy, the crew foreman, was a valuable asset to the overall project completion. If having a complete replacement of siding and trim to your home Aztec does high quality work based upon price, quality of work, and time to completion.

Overall the experience went well. They did what was asked and fixed some issues with the siding and flashing that were install improperly originally. I would recommend them in the future. i did have some issues with the workers that i didnt bring to the attention of the owner because they didnt end up being issues i could not rectify. 1. I have two dogs (boxer and rottweilder) which i have fenced in. They were there for two days and each day when they left they left the gates open. The first time my dog got out but I was able to get her back with no incident. 2. They plugged in their compressor to the front of my house and for some reason felt that placing the compressor on top of my bush was a good idea. Thankfully it did not cause damage and the bush sprang back up after they left. 3. There was some garbage i had to pick up at the end of their day and nails i picked up in my driveway. The owners follow-up was exceptional as he always keep me informed as to what what going on. He followed up a few weeks later to see how I was with the work and then a month later to see if i was still pleased which i was. I would recommend them to friend but would encourage them to leave the worksite how they found as best as possible.

I met with many different contractors before making a decision. There are several reasons why I decided to use Aztec. I liked the fact that I actually worked directly with the owner. The fact that he came out, gave me the estimate, and answered all of my questions was very impressive. He was very thorough, patient, and I knew what to expect. I liked knowing that he was aware of what I wanted to accomplish, and he was available throughout the entire process if needed. In addition, Mike gave me a great price upfront, unlike some of the others who bid high, and then later called me to tell me that they could drop their price. In addition, I was also very impressed with the other employees. Mike Lieske managed the project, and he was excellent. He went above and beyond in every aspect. The project was done very quickly, and the house looks amazing! I did a lot of research on fiber cement, and a lot of research on siding companies. I am confident that I got the best product installed by the best company. I am thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Aztec if you need siding.

The workers for Aztec arrived at 7:30 am each day and worked through until 7:30 pm. As a result, they were able to finish the job of residing and painting our two-story house in only 5 and 1/2 days. They tore off all the defective LP siding, replaced it with new James Hardie fiber cement board siding, and painted the outside of the house and exterior doors. They also replaced two service doors on the garage. The crew supervisor kept us informed of the progress each day. We are very pleased with the results and can highly recommend Aztec for siding replacement. Their price for the project was much lower than other bids we had and they did an excellent job.

They still have not given me the estimate. I tried to leave messages and contact him via email but he has not gotten back with me.

Great - They did a tremendous amount of work - Tearing off the old roof an putting a new roof on - completely redid our siding with cement siding - It has now been almost 2 years since they did the work and it looks as good as the day they did it. We would definately use again.

They are going to do the work. We are just waiting for weather. They were wonderful. They provided many addresses of places they have done work on. We finalized the project this week. We got an estimate from another company. In the meantime, we asked a neighbor who did their siding, and they highly recommended this company. They came out and instantly emailed us the quote. They are a polished company that is ready to go. We didn't have to ask them for addresses. The first time, he came out to take measurements. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were very forthcoming in explaining what they were going to be doing. My husband also felt that they were knowledgeable. Our neighbor raved about this company, which impressed us. They got back to us right away.

Hired Aztec to replace all siding and roof on my parents house. They did a great job. They also replaced gutters and downspouts. It was a great experience. Our project manager, Mike Lieske, was great. We discovered some rotted framing in the enclosed porch during the project. It was no problem for them. They replaced the rotted framing at a very reasonable price. They did a complete makeover on the house - new fiber cement board siding, new roof, new gutters, exterior painting, etc. The house looks excellent. I would highly recommend this company for siding and roofing. We got several estimates for this job and I am very happy we chose Aztec.

After interviewing 5 companies for this job, I selected Aztec because the owner was the most professional of all. The estimate was about in the middle of all the estimates I received. The workmanship was excellent and the supervisors and construction workers were excellent. I really wanted to give this company an A rating, but to this day, the owner has not responded to my last emails or calls. I have two concerns about this company: 1--every tiny detail of the job MUST be included in the estimate, or they do not honor the estimate. I still think I was overcharged by about $2000 because the estimate stated that all trim would be replaced and the estimated footage was smaller than actual. Since it was not my job to measure correctly, I believe they should have honored the estimate. So for others planning to hire this company, be sure that every single detail is included and if it were me, I would ask them to add a line stating that if they made any errors in measurement, it would not add cost to the job. 2--the owner promised when he gave me the sales pitch that he would come back after the job was finished and walk through it with me. I gave up after repeated emails and calls to which he did not respond. There are still some minor unresolved issues which I did discuss with the foreman, but I really wanted the owner to answer some questions. Thus my B rating is for these two reasons. The work that was done all looks terrific and everyone who worked here was quite professional.

I was very pleased with the work that they did. Mike Lieske was the project manager and he was very professional. I was impressed with the quality of their work (I tend to be a perfectionist and I am not easy to please). The few issues I had were addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs to have new siding installed.

Overall, Aztec did high quaility work. Ryan, Mike & Remy and their crews were professional. We are very pleased with the final outcome. Aztec worked with us to clear final, minor issues. We would highly recommend Aztec and would certainly use them again.

Mike Lieske took a very hands on approach and was very available and helpful during this complete process. After talking to him at the Home Show, he promptly gave me an estimate and suggestions for the project. He provided me with addresses of other jobs that had been completed so I could see the quality of this company's work. My house is 70 years old and presented a few challenges but the finished job turned out excellent. I liked the siding work very much but had a few complaints about the paint job that was performed on the garage which this company contracted out. Because of the attention that Mr. Lieske gave this job and the quality of the work, I would use this company again.

Mike was very easy to work with. His quote was very reasonable and very detailed. We were also having a 2nd story deck redone at the same time and Aztec worked around the schedule of the deck people to make sure everything got done in the proper order. They had to delay their own work because the decking was taking longer than anticipated, but the work was done quickly and well when they were able to get access to the siding. They were willing to paint parts of the exterior of the house that weren't part of the siding or trim so that the whole house could have a nice clean coat of paint. I'd use them again, though hopefully I won't have to. I would certainly recommend them to others.

Mike Lieske was a pleasure to work with. He came out to our house for the estimate, for the final contract signing once we selected his company to do the work, and was on hand each day as the work was performed by the employees. He is easy to work with. During the whole process, he was very accessible and reacted to any questions or issues we had that came up. The existing shutters were falling apart (prior to their removal - they "sat" on top of the siding), and so we went and purchased replacements which they installed. We forgot to buy one (we have several windows) and they went out and purchased an appropriate one (without asking us - they just took care of it). We simply had to pay them back for the extra shutter. The day the crew painted the siding was very hot and the sun was bright. Since we selected white, it was hard to look at the fresh paint, and the painting crew missed a few spots. Mike had his crew out the very next day to touch up the missing places, so that was great. There was an issue with the crew foreman becoming ill the day before our project was to start, so to make up the time, Mike sent out TWO crews to finish the siding. They worked very hard and made up the time, even though we didn't ask him to do so. This ended up being a nice luxury, as we had a family get together at our house that weekend, and the work was completed in time prior to the party. There was really no trace that the workers had been there. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. There was no nails, trash, etc on the property after they left. The workers were professional and did their job swiftly and expertly. Aztec are "James Hardie" certified installers, so they are experts in the product that they install. They weren't the cheapest of the quotes we received for the work (hence the "B" grade there), but we had the best gut feeling about them. Their quote was comprehensive, detailing the work they were going to do, and included pictures of our house where they were going to install the siding. This may have felt like a "no brainer", as all of our existing siding was going to be replaced, but it was a nice step that they took to fully call out what the work was going to be, so that we were all on the same page. Overall, highly recommended company. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it was quick service, professional results, knowledgeable installers, and a job coordinator (Mike) that handled all aspects of the job communication in a efficient and pleasurable manner.

Aztec's professionalism was outstanding. An owner was involved from start to finish. We have been told by other construction professionals that this is one of the best siding jobs they have seen.

I should have provided this report last fall because I was extremely pleased with my experience. I spent approximately $45,000 replacing roofs, siding and windows so it was a big job and it worked our perfectly. At the time I contacted Mike Dittmer, all contractors were extremely busy because of the two 2009 hail storms. I contacted three contractors and Mike was the most responsive and timely. I was rebuilding my sun room as a do-it-yourself project and ran into some unexpected issues but Mike (and Ryan) worked with me on some timing issues to make it all work. I was stuck on buying Pella windows and Mike helped faciliate the acquistion and oversaw the installation of the windows. The fiber cement is a great product and Mike helped me select the appropriate product to fit my budget. There was adequate job supevision and the labor teams were great. The roof and siding was torn-off and replaced the week before Labor Day and painted the very next week. The contract was straight forward and I was charged exactly what the contract stated. There were a few extras relating to my Sun Room that I asked Mike to take care off. If anything, the "extras charges" were unbilled and not overbilled. While Mike and Ryan are great, I give the roofing, siding and painting teams very high marks. There attention to detail was obvious and they worked long hours to get the job done in a very short period of time. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

They were very thorough and had a great clean-up. Mike was just great to work with and followed through with everything that I brought to his attention. I would highly recommend them to others.

We were very pleased with the service and love the new porch and siding. The house looks great and the porch looks like it was always there. It blends in nicely. We have recommended them to friends and neighbors and one neighbor used them and was as pleased with the work as we were. .

GREAT. They showed up on time and finished in a reasonable length of time inspite of weather considering they started in late November. even managed to paint before severe weather set in. They responded quickly and affirmatively to all questions and concerns. They worked with me on solving some problems that weren't part of their contract. The quality of their work was superb. It was very refreshing to work with a company that actually employs the craftsmen doing the work rather than turning it over to some unknown subcontractor. I related to Mike D some of our bad previous experiences and he made certain that I was satisfied.

Completely amazing! Aztec totally reformed the look of our house and we've had a ton of compliments. Mike Dittmer, the owner, came by three times to educate my husband and I on the value of fiber cement and answer any questions we had. We did not feel rushed to make a decision at all. We had three total estimates, two of which were vinyl. HardieBoard quote from Aztec was only $1,500 more than vinyl so it seemed like a no-brainer. Mike's crew arrived right on time on Monday morning and worked diligently all week. The entire project was complete in 5 days with no problems along the way. Twice when we came home, Mike's crew was still on the jobsite working well into the evening. They also painted the new siding and trim, and installed new gutters. I can't say enough about how great the overall experience was. We have a brand new house!

Great job. The painters in particular were outstanding.

They did a great job. They were very clean and never left stuff lying around. They were very professional and efficient. I had a lot of questions and they made sure to answer all of them. The owner, Mike, was on site during parts of the installation. He was quick to respond whenever I called. They had started painting it, and I did not like the color, and they went out of their way to get a new color that I was happier with. I felt like I was getting a good product and that it was being installed properly. I did my own research as well and was able to confirm all of the things that Mike told me. He was very honest and trustworthy, in regards to the product, the application, and the price. He was fantastic.
