WHITING PLUMBING

We had Whiting Plumbing replace a water heater, which went well, or so I initially thought. I asked Lane to come back to provide an estimate on some additional work. After spending some time looking at what needed to be done and promising to call me back with an estimate within a few days, he disappeared. He never answered the phone again or returned any of my messages. Terribly unprofessional. All it takes is a simple phone call to turn down the job...no hard feelings and completely understandable. After this I had other plumbers come provide estimates, and all of them commented that the water heater Lane installed was missing a drip leg, something I wouldn't have known to even check for. Absolutely would not recommend!

We have used him serveral times for 15 years. We give him a very high rating. He is real good and reasonable.

I’ll never have him come out again. He overcharged me and he didn’t come back and did what he said he was going to do. He said he was going to call and he’d come back and he never did. He refused to answer the phone calls and never returned any messages. I knew what had to be done and how it should have been done and I just wasn’t happy. I don’t think he was right on time.

We trust them enough to give them the keys to our house. They cleaned up after themselves. We did not even know they were here.

After spending about 45 minutes in our home, mostly giving his opinion on other work currently being performed, he said he would call with an estimate and a referral phone # for a Handyman, we were looking for. After waiting a week with no call, I had to call another plumber. It's a shame because I would have liked to support a local business.

Plumber arrived with one hour of my call, checked out what was happening, rodded out the sewer pipe and fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable, professional and explained what was happening.

Had used him once before because his pricing is very competitive. But, like the old adage, you get what you pay for. Not that he was a scam artist or anything, but he left me hanging out to dry on an investment house I was working on. Never returned calls on a job he half-way finished and was impossible to get him on the phone. Not sure if he was just having a bad week, but this was totally unprofessional - especially for a repeat customer.

My ejector pump had been running erratically. It had been short cycling for a while and in the last few days it wasn't shutting off after pumping the level down. I called at about 9:00 am and talked to Lane who said they would be here around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. About 11:45 or so I received a call saying the technician was on the way. He arrived at about 12:00 noon and had the job completed and was gone by 12:45. I have used Whiting Plumbing several times for different types of jobs over the past 10 years or so and have never been disappointed with their service, price, or quality of work. They are always my first call for a plumbing job.

WHITING PLUMBING IS A GREAT COMPANY, AND THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE AT THE OFFICE TO ANSWER THE PHONE. THEY'RE VERY PROMPT WHEN IT COMES TO RESPONDING TO EMERGENCIES, AND THEY DO GREAT WORK.

ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS CHANGE A RUBBER GASKET, SO IT ONLY TOOK HIM ABOUT FIVE MINUTES. HE DID A GREAT JOB AND HE WAS REALLY NICE. I WOULD'VE FIXED IT MYSELF BUT I'M JUST TOO OLD.

THEY ARE A TRUSTWORTHY AND HONEST COMPANY. HE IS A GOOD CHRISTIAN MAN AND PROVIDES QUALITY SERVICE. THEY ARE A GREAT PLUMBING COMPANY AND I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST. THEY KNOW WHAT GOOD PLUMBING IS ALL ABOUT. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND HAVE GIVEN ME A WORKING SEWER LINE.
