Cathedral Marble & Granite

Everything they did was reasonable price and the service was outstanding.

We had our kitchen remodeled. They installed the counter tops and back splash for the kitchen itself. Their prices were reasonable and they did a very good job as far as the quality of work. They had a large selection of granites and tiles. The people who came out to install it did a very good job. The only thing that we ran into was that one of the employees, not the company and not the workers, was rather rude and inappropriate when dealing with my wife when I was not in town. The workers who came here agreed with her that this guy was a problem. Other than that it was a good experience and I would use them again in future as long as we could stay away from that one employee.

I visited Cathedral to look at granite samples. Meghan helped me with the selection process. I was given sample pieces to take home which really helped. I visited again and and took a second look and took a drawer with me. Meghan suggested a granite called Chocolate Beach and it was the coloring that I was looking for. She located the slabs needed and I went to the supplier to see them and to give my approval. An appt. was made for the template process and it went well and on time. The installation went well and the granite is perfect, and it is beautiful. This granite has taken my once boring white kitchen to spectacular, and I am very pleased with it. This company is very responsive to questions and concerns. Their service is top notch.

They were excellent. Very careful, very clean. The kitchen design company was very helpful and attentive. I had a very good experience with the whole thing.

We selected what we wanted. They came with templates and measured. They came when they said they would. Everything fit and it was put together on time. Everything went like clock work. They redid the kitchen in four and half days which I did not think was possible.

We thought they were wonderful. They did excellent work. When they put it in there was a piece of tile they had to remove and replace so they called in a specialist to repair that. Their price was very good, we liked the people we worked with, they were very helpful and the granite is just beautiful.

They were on time to do the job. They were personable people. They were very professional while they worked. They cleaned up after themselves. I would use them in the future.

The job that they did was totally great. Their prices weren't the cheapest but they but they had better quality than the other companies. What was good about them is that they have their own granite in their lot to look at and so you don't have to use a second party. They showed up on time to do the work and they did what they said they were going to do. The job took two days to install the granite (the only reason this took two days is because a piece of granite broke). They were very clean and cleaned up after both days. They were friendly and professional. We would use them again and would also recommend them. People having this kind of work done without using a contractor need to be aware of all the prep work involved.

The person that I worked with was Chris, she was my main contact and was very helpful and informative. The granite that I wanted came from India and they didn't have any here in Indiana. She was able to get it ordered from Kentucky. The installation was pristine. They were a great company to work with and they were very helpful. They were a top notch company to work with. They have been magnificent. I will continue to use them and would recommend them to others.

They did a great job. They were timely and did what they said they would.

Cathedral was wonderful to work with, and in particular Mark Shiveley. They did what they said they would do, and when they said they would do it. The end product is a work of art. Cathedral insists on quality and perfection. Mark was very responsive to any questions we had, and very helpful. The people who did the install made sure it was done right. This is a company you can trust. The only potential problem never became a problem because Cathedral went to bat for us. Granite supplier to Cathedral realized they had underquoted the cost of the granite slabs after Cathedral had used their original quote to give us an estimate for the final product. Cathedral convinced the supplier to stand behind their original quote and ultimately, the final quote to us.

They are an excellent company to work with. They are very cost effective when compared to other countertop vendors. The installation went very smoothly.

Very thorough in their sales, very informative, offered lots of info that other granite companies didn't. Price was a little higher, plus they don't tear out the old counters. To go with them I had to have a handyman do the demolition and then also have a plumber there to do faucet install. Since I was acting as my own contractor, this was a little more than I wanted to have to coordinate.

I stopped in at Cathedral one day, and Buddy spent over an hour with me, even though I didn't have an appointment. He was great to work with. Cathedral did an excellent job with the installation. The counters are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We had originally planned on going w/ a solid surface and had used a different company, not Cathedral. We had actually installed the counters, but the edge detail was wrong. I eventually had to take those counters out and decided to go with granite instead. Cathedral was recommended by someone I trusted, and they were incredible. It was worth every penny, and we're so glad that the first counters we put in did not work out.

I m puzzled. The overall reviews here are excellent but for me Cathedral did not deliver. Cathedral s installation contract had sneaked in a clause about not removing old countertops. Cathedral was nice enough to do this when they arrived but then snuck in a $650 charge for this service (which was not described in the contract! Surprise!). Cathedral ripped off the cabinet side panel and did not tell anyone about this. Michael was then defensive and pointed out the contract excluded old countertop removal but finally offered to take off 1/2 hour of carpentry labor from final bill (not reflected on the bill received). The attention to detail was poor. A joint seam had to be redone. And finally the sink hole was drilled in crocked by about 1/4'' (not entirely a disaster as this error is difficult to see but I know it is there). My interior designer is not happy with the dealings here. I'm not happy with them either. I wish my experience with this vendor had been better.

Our experience with Cathedral was very good. Julie, our salesperson, was brand-new when we bought our granite slab; she was very helpful. She may have promised us our delivery too soon, as when we learned the date they planned to install, I was very upset at the delay. They then worked very hard to switch us to a date a week earlier, which we really appreciated. Michael did the templates, which were perfect. The granite is beautifully finished. The installers were polite and hard-working. It seems like a lot of money, but once we found ''our'' granite, we paid what it cost. It is beautiful, and we are happy to have worked with Cathedral.

I am so impressed with the quality of materials and customer service I have received. Chris Baker has been such a delight and so very patient since I am constantly asking her questions. She has given me great advice on ways to save money which is so refreshing. I am thrilled with my selections and can't wait to see them after they are installed.

WE DID HAVE A COUPLE OF PROBLEMS, BUT THEY SEEMED TO RESPOND TO THEM WELL. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE SEAMS, BUT THEY SEEMED TO RESPOND.

DID AN EXCELLENT JOB SPENDING TIME TO DISCUSS AND TEMPLATE AREA AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. PIECES WERE DONE VERY WELL AND INSTALLATION WAS PERFECT. THEY EVEN CAME BACK AND DID SOME EXTRA CAULKING AND FILLING BETWEEN COUNTER AND WALLS/CABINETS.

SIMPLICITY. GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR COLOR SELECTIONS. EXCELLENT INSTALLATION. MAY NOT HAVE SEALED THE GRANITE ON A COUNTER IN THE ADJOINING BATHROOM, AND CAME OUT AGAIN TO MAKE SURE IT WAS DONE, WITHOUT HESITATION.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH CATHEDRAL MARBLE & GRANITE WAS THOROUGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND ENJOYABLE FROM START TO FINISH. CHRIS HELPED ME IDENTIFY THE BEST SURFACE OPTIONS FOR MY CABINETS, EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCES IN MATERIALS AND MAINTENANCE, AND OUTLINED EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO DELIVER A GREAT RESULT. WHEN MIKE CAME TO MY HOME TO MEASURE EVERYTHING, HE WAS ON TIME, SPOTTED POTENTIAL ISSUES THAT I HADN'T CONSIDERED, AND TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS. ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION, THE OWNER AND MANAGER ARRIVED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WOULD PROCEED SMOOTHLY AND THAT I WAS SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING. AND THE COST WAS CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN THE MAJOR HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
