Due to a recent very windy day, a large tree branch fell in my yard and on my fence. I reached out to Growing Solutions Tree Care through Angie's List. My phone call was returned quickly (ON A SUNDAY) and the tree removed the next morning. Growing Solutions Tree Care was prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. They quickly and neatly completed the job without doing further damage to the fence. I will definitely be calling them back if I need tree service again and would highly recommend them.

William and his crew were FANTASTIC! They were responsive to calls and brought the tree down safely. It was very close to the house and surrounded by other trees and a fence. They didn’t touch any of these other structures. The crew was very polite and went out of their way to make sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent job performed by Rodney Hughes. Contacted me, scheduled when he might make it, called before hand (20 minutes) and did a GREAT job grinding the stump. He cleaned up afterwards.

The gave us a GREAT quote, I contacted them two days later and they performed the tree removal within 2 days. EXCELLANT job in cutting down the tree, safely felled it and a terrific cleanup! The 2nd tree trim job was also very well done. I would HIGHLY recommend this crew to anyone needing tree service over any other service.

The owner, William Ridenour, Jeremy, and the crew showed up on time and were very professional. The completed all the work in a timely manner for the agreed-upon cost. No vehicles were driven into our yard and the crew cleaned everything up and checked to see if I was satisfied before they left. I have used them before to remove large ash trees and will definitely use them again in the future.

Growing Solutions came the same day I called to work on our trees. They did all the work quickly and efficiently. I felt the price was a little high, but I did get same-day service. Overall, I would hire them again.

In summary: The crew that did did our work was professional and appreciative of my business. Their prices was fair and they were on time and performed the work as asked. I would highly recommend the crew I had to anyone. A few details that added to our experience: My wife and I both work and our time at home is a premium. When there are items to be taken care of around the house, I tend to schedule multiple contractors or when there is an emergent item that is happening, I will ask for availability of contractors to stop by and quote. This was the latter. We had other plumbing work happening and while I was at the house, I called a couple of tree care companies who were able to send someone out same day to quote the work. The Growing Solutions gentleman gave me confidence he knew what he was talking about and also was willing to bring his crew the very next day. There was a significant difference between my experience with Growing Solutions and the other crew I had quote. The next day, the crew performed the work and also were flexible enough to allow us to settle up after arriving home from work. They walked the job down with us and addressed anything that was missed immediately. I am very happy with my experience with them and would recommend the crew we had to anyone.

Very well. An 8-man team showed up at the appointed time and whipped through the whole job in 2 full workdays. The most difficult part was the need to cut down half of a fused-trunk tree where one stem had been hit by lightning and become unstable. This half-tree pointed over the neighbor's house. Workers cut it off safely and made a special requested cut in the remaining stump on a 45-degree angle, followed by an almost horizontal cut to create a permanent shelf for flowerpots. The crew cleaned up scrupulously afterward.

Called on Monday to arrange getting an estimate to have a tree cut down. The representative said they would be out Tuesday evening. They were a no show, no call, no follow up!

They did excellent work. We couldn't have asked for more.

Representative initially returned call saying we would be contacted following week for an estimate. We were contacted as promised, however the company wanted to perform work that day -- sight unseen, without estimate given. We declined and representative indicated we would receive a call to schedule a visit for an estimate. We never received any further communication from company.

They did a great job. The price was kinda my issue. They said they would give me a daily rate for 2 full days. They said they would come sat and sun. They didn't come till about 11 o'clock both days. It was later than that the first day. I was paying a daily rate to have them here all day for them to be here a couple hours. They said they added more guys so it wouldn't take as long. They did great work and we did agree to the price up front. They answered all my questions and concerns. I would try to get more details up front if I used them again.

Exceedingly well! Clean up was excellent. Would recommend to any of our friends!

They are responsiveness in price, I have called them and Bill always picks up and calls back. He's always prompt. You have to negotiate the price, he's good about that. He beings in his crew and they work very hard. They clean up, get out and are very efficient. They don't have a cherry picker or anything like that, they usually have a climber who gets up in the tress.

They are consistent. My number one reason to suggest them to a friend is the price.

I called Growing Solutions yesterday. Jeremy, the foreman of the group, was able to stop by and take a look at the damaged tree since he was in the area. This morning Jeremy and his crew came by and took down both the damaged tree and the one next to it, when it became evident that one needed to come down as well. I appreciate the time both Jeremy and Sam, the tree climber, took in explaining the process and answering questions. They left with the chopped down trees and there was no damage to the yard or surrounding plants. I would highly recommend them- I feel like they were honest, experienced, and could not have done a better job.

We were very pleased. The care and skill they took in planning out how to remove each section was appreciated. The expertise of the climber was evident as he roped off large branches and coordinated with the ground crew to ensure they controlled the drop of some very large limbs. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up as they went and did a final cleanup once the job was finished.

Excellent service. Responded quickly with a reasonable quote. Crew showed up when they said they would and did the work in only a couple of hours. Cleaned up all the residue. They originally were only to do one tree and some dead limbs in another but when they were looking at the second tree they advised that it had structural damage and it would need to come down also.

They began work right away. Jeremy was the main spokesperson for the team and he did a great job explaining to me what all they would be doing and the timeline involved. He was great at answering all of my questions and pointed out potential tree problems for us to watch out for in the future. They performed all of the work as promised, provided a detailed invoice and then treated a tree for insects. This wasn't part of the original plan, but because we needed it, he gave it to me at no additional cost. The whole crew was a pleasure to have at my home. They were friendly, respectful of our pets and property. I will definitely call them if I have need of their services again.

Growing solutions knocked on my door last week saying they noticed trees that needed trimming and quoted $150 to trim a Hawthorne tree and $350 to trim a larger Ash tree. I agreed to that and scheduled. When they returned to do the work, a different employee said the Ash was dying and recommended that we remove it entirely for $2,200.00 and we declined. They trimmed the Hawthorne and my wife wrote a check to Growing Solutions for $150 and we received a receipt. The next day, a man named Wm Ridenour called and identified himself as the owner of Growing Solutions and wanted to exchange my wife's check made out to Growing Solutions for either cash or a check to him personally. I advised him that his employees did not specify paying him personally and that my wife's check to his company was accepted and a receipt was given marked "Paid in Full". He stated that if I refused to pay him personally instead of the company that his card listed as the actual service provider, then he would file a Lien against my property for non payment. ( ignoring the fact that we did pay and do have a receipt) if he does file a Lien, I expect my next "review' will be written to the Indiana Attorney General and the IRS. Beware of "Growing Solutions"!!
