Mr. Ridenour came out promptly to give me an estimate. He was polite and professional as well as his crew. He gave me a very good price and they were able to do the job immediately. HIs crew worked very hard and efficiently. They also removed a small tree and didn't charge me. The tree that was trimmed looks very nice and much improved. They did an excellent job! I would hire them again in an instant and highly recommend Growing Solutions.

Growing Solutions' quote for the work was very competitive compared to quotes from other providers. Their crew was really efficient and finished the work in a timely manner. Clean-up was very thorough with minimal debris left in the yard when they were finished with the work. We were completely satisfied and will definitely make use of their services again for future tree work.

Had to point out an oversite made by the crew. They had forgotten to spray one of the cedar trees for bagworms.

I had a 90 foot oak tree that was infested with ants and two pine trees that had some damage. Danny and his crew removed the oak tree and treated the stump and the two pine trees. The Oak tree was next to a new privacy fence. There was no damage to the fence and just minor turf damage, where huge limbs landed. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to take down the oak tree. Would gladly call them back if I needed more work done. In addition to the fair price, I appreciated William's (the owner) honesty and politeness.

Very well. J.J. called and made an appt. for the next day, a Sunday. He gave me an estimate on the spot, and I signed the contract for work to be done in a week. They trimmed two very large pin oaks, treated one for carpenter ants and cut down and ground the stump of a dead blue spruce. Everything was cleaned up, and no other landscaping was disturbed, for a very reasonable price.

I can't say enough good things about Growing Solutions. They were fast, smart, professional, reasonably priced, very thorough and went above and beyond in every way. Other companies had come out and looked at the job then offered to cut a few limbs here and there for a few hundred bucks, while focusing only on price. But we were worried about the health of the trees and the danger of large limbs falling during storms. Growing Solutions went tree-by-tree detailing the health issues and needs in addition to the trimming. They were the only ones who told us a whole large tree was past saving and should come down and that we needed treatment for ants in two trees. The cutting team is very professional and very fast. This was a lot of work, including some tricky climbing and logistics to make sure we didn't wreck any of our neighbor's fences with large falling limbs. But they were done in less than a full day. They asked us if we wanted any of the wood for fires and then cut and stacked it for us. They also did a great job of cleaning up the yard. They even cleaned out a gutter while they were working on a tree next to the house. Great service all the way around! This might have been the single best Angie's list experience we've had and we start here for almost every home improvement job.

Mr. Ridenour responded promptly to my inquiry about tree removal and treatment, scheduled an appropriate time to come out for an estimate, came out on time, gave me a fair price and scheduled a time to come do the work, and had a team do the work all within two weeks. Mr. Ridenour arrived right on time with the crew to review with the foreman and I what the work would be. They dove right in and worked quickly and safely through a pretty hot morning. When all was said and done, they'd removed four diseased trees, treated and trimmed one diseased tree, ground the stump from one tree, converted two of those trees into nice fireplace size logs for me and trimmed some pine branches off the exterior of my house. My firewood was neatly stacked, all the twigs and pinecones were raked up and disposed of and everything was complete within three hours or so. The crew was friendly, polite, professional and made sure to check with me at various points to ensure felling the trees didn't destroy any of my favorite trees, shrubs or plants in the vicinity. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and while I hope not to have any more diseased trees that need to be taken down, I now know who to call.

We can't think of a thing they could have done better. There were 4 men. Friendly, hard working, professional - and when they left the yard looked much better than it had in over a year. They not only thoroughly cleaned up the mess from their efforts, they took and mulched a pile of branches we had picked up previously. They even raked our yard, flower beds, used a blower on the porch, sidewalk, driveway and street. We were so pleased with their work on our maple trees, we asked if they could trim a smaller hawthorn pear tree too. They gave us a very reasonable quote - and did that for us also.. We got quotes from 2 companies. They were lowest - but we were also impressed with their ratings, and the genuine integrity of the man who came out to give us the quote. We both felt we could trust him. We HIGHLY recommend this company and would gladly use them again.

Numerous trees, tree limbs and tall border bushes to be cut, trimmed, pruned or removed were pointed out at the time of estimate being given. Inspection of work showed some items were not completed and this was rectified immediately and completely by the work crew. Great clean up yard and removal of yard waste. Would hire again.

I am very pleased with the work done by Bill and his crew. They were dependable, punctual, and cleaned up their mess when they were done. I could not have asked or hoped for a better resolution to my problem. Every aspect of this job was handled and performed in the most professional manner you could imagination. I requested a quote online from Growing Solutions at 8:30 am on a Saturday. The owner called me 10 minutes later. He explained that they had a team that would be freed up later that morning and if it was a good time for me, would target coming to my house between noon and 1 to provide a free estimate. They called me back at 12:15 to advise they were on their way and were roughly 45 minutes away. They arrived a couple of minutes after 1, practically to the minute when they said I should expect them! They carefully assessed the situation and talked me through my options for partial or full tree removal, answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly, and provided me a quote which included a discount if I wanted to proceed while they were already at my house with all of their equipment. I agreed and their three man team (Danny, Charlie, and Aljear) immediately went to work. This was during the hottest portion of a very warm (90 degree) and humid Indiana summer day and they worked HARD and tirelessly and completed my job that same afternoon. They took extreme care to avoid any further damage to my fence or barn and executed the removal with patience and skill. They meticulously cleaned up the entire work area and removal path after the tree was cut up and were extremely friendly and pleasant the entire time. Again, I could not have asked for a better job and their price was very competitive (I had three other estimates) even before they offered to reduce the price if they did it while they were already there. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Growing Solutions to others and they will be at the top of my list for future tree service. Thanks, gents!

Very well! Six days between my first call to company requesting a quote and work completed. (One small exception -- the stump removal required coordination with 811. Marking done by utilities in two days, stump removal guy will be out in a day or two from this writing.). William Ridenour was quite knowledgable about trees, what branches ("leaders") needed cutting, how to address problems he recognized. We discussed options on several trees during his visit, he worked his brain for a few seconds and came up with pricing on the spot. I accepted and he scheduled work the coming weekend. Crew works seven days/week in summer, they came out Sunday morning (9 AM, no complaints from late-sleeping neighbors!) and worked for just under 3 hours. Clean-up was great! Overall we had much much much better results than other tree service company used three years ago when one tree came down during high winds (fortunately missing the house by inches). Winds one month ago resulted in a few trees threatening some neighbors' houses, prompted us to get 'preventative' work done now. We are glad we did so and very pleased with the results of Growing Solutions' work!

Growing Solutions did an excellent job this week removing 3 trees from my son’s home. They charged a fair price and finished in 2 days. It took 2 days due to the size of the 2 trees in back yard, plus involved turning off the power to the property.

The team was friendly, courteous, professional and efficient.
