I had a very important, specific request and they happily accommodated me and ensured me it would be followed with each application. I was home during the first application and everything was great. Price of $43 per step/application seemed reasonable and in line with other quotes from other companies. And they offered a discount for purchasing the full six-step program.

Love the fact that this company listens to the customer. They are willing to work with the customer taking in mind the customer's wants and needs. They called us in advance to let us know they were coming to treat our lawn. When the weather was inclement, they called us to tell us they could not come. Great service !

When Greenskeeper were here to see me, they seemed very knowledgeable and professional and had a lot of good suggestions that I later followed up on. However, they took weeks before getting back to me, so I went with another company. Therefore, since I am not able to judge the actual quality of the finished work, I do not feel a really low grade is fully justified. I would suggest that in the future they keep in touch with their customers. I would have employed them, but was not given the chance.

We really like Greenskeeper and continue to use them year in and year out (we have used them for probably 5 or 6 years now). Compared to the yards around us who use other companies, our yard always has the deepest green color and is the best looking one. The employees are very friendly as well. There are 6 steps to the lawn care program however we don't determine that all 6 steps are needed (we normally do steps 1 through 3 and the last one before winter). If you want to skip a step all you have to do is email them. Every once in a while I feel they are later in coming out than other lawn companies. This isn't necessarily a bad thing since I mentioned we have one of the better looking yards around but a few times I emailed to make sure we weren't forgotten and they said they were just going through their process and they'd be coming out shortly. We will definitely continue using them in future years. P.S. We also got our mower serviced there in the past. It is nice that they also have pick up service for those who don't have pickups, SUV's or other large cars where a standard lawn mower can fit.

The people are friendly and helpful. Pricing seems to be competative with others. I gave then a lower score for Quality and Overall mainly due to a problem I continually have with clover and dandelins in my backyard. In their defense, they may not be willing to arbitrarily dump more chemicals on my lawn. I've been with them for several years and will likely continue to stay.

I had been a customer for 20 years. Up until a couple years ago my lawn looked good except for the nutsedge. However the past couple years my lawn has been invaded with crabgrass and spurge. I would call them, they would come out and spray but nothing improved. Each year it was too hot, too dry, and this year too wet, so therefore, I had weeds. My backyard doesn't look like it was treated at all. I called one last time and told them this was their chance to make things right. My lawn looks the same. My neighbors' lawns look just fine, so it is not my location. I switched to another service, which is highly rated and less expensive. Even their core aeration and overseeding service is less expensive.

I contract them for the last 16 years. I am on their plan. The lawn is beautiful and they are responsive to any problems. That is what I just call them, I have some weeds and they will come. Since I am on their plan, they may come and spray when I have weeds. When I have weeds around, they come and take care of that at no extra cost since we do the plan. Occasionally I have problems with that and they come and take care of them. They will always leave on the door what they did when they have been here or any comments on the lawn. I've never had any trouble with them. I'm very particular about my lawn that's why I have been really happy with The Greenskeeper.

We have complained last year, and prior year and they do not seem to have the right chemicals to treat for crabgrass.

We were customers of The Greenskeeper for 8 years. In the beginning, it was great, and I have submitted A-rated reports on them in 2005 and 2006. The past few years, however, our experience with this company has gone downhill. One year they sent out an inexperience person that was just learning to use the equipment, and a large part of our yard was burned. After that, we would ask them to only send out experienced people, and as far as we know, they complied. Our #1 issue is lack of communication, which is getting worse, so we have now cancelled our account. There are too many A-rated companies on Angies List for us to continue with this frustration. Unless you contact them, you do not know when your treatment is scheduled. The gentleman performing the service will give you a call the night before. We wanted our treatments earlier in May, so we started calling them. Even if they respond and put you on the schedule, they do not respond to our phone calls or emails. So we are left guessing.... did they receive our message? are they coming soon? if not, when can we expect them? If we do call back again and again and manage to reach them live, they have been very short and unfriendly the past couple of years. Ironically, when we notified that we are cancelling our account, they responded right away. Anyway, we have decided to try a highly rated Angies List company and see if they are more friendly and courteous to their customers.

We have used Greenskeeper as lawn care company for about 8 years. They the day before they treat the lawn, they will time treatments for optimal weather conditions as much as possible. One year we opted to skip a few treatments and they were willing to work with us. They have pre-pay option that saves extra money. We have been very pleased with their service.

They had slip seeded my yard in the fall so they were very careful to not apply the normal spring lawn treatments as certain weed killers also kill grass seed and new grass. They fertilzed the entire lawn and then took the time to walk the yard and treat only the areas where there were weeds. They cleaned up the fertilizer that was on the sidewalk before they left.

I enjoy working with them. They always return calls promptly They pay attention to details. They accommodate working with my second home. They just seem to have some common sense to them, and are pleasant to work with. They are old time professional, I like it.

They do a really good job. They are very thorough and very informative. Every time they come they give us a little post card saying what they did and why they did it. They are wonderful and we will definitely continue to use them.

Throughout the year, they spray all my trees for bugs and worms. A couple years ago, I nearly lost all my arborvitae to bag worms. After working with the Greenskeeper, we eliminated the problem and the trees are now healthy. Because of the draught, during the past couple years, it is necessary to spray an anti-desiccant on the arborvitae to preserve the moisture over the winter. Did this last year and the trees looked great in the Spring. Unfortunately, some of my neighbors lost their arborvitae because they did not spray them and over the winter, they lost any moisture they had in reserve and in the spring, the trees died. Mine, on the other hand, are healthy. The Greenskeeper is due any time to spray the anti-desiccant to prepare them for the upcoming winter. Also, they inject fertilizer into the ground for all my trees and shrubs. I used to use the little fertilizer stakes, but this is so much better. The trees are in excellent health. Each year, I have them pick up my lawn mower at the end of mowing season. My mower gets a workout since I mow every 2-3 days during the entire mowing season. The Greenskeeper cleans and tunes-up my mower so that it looks like new when they return it. Each Spring, I feel like I'm starting out with a new mower. Since I spent over $600 on my walk-behind mower, I want to ensure it will last and The Greenskeeper does that for me. I am so happy with The Greenskeeper, I recommended them to my neighbors who now use them for their trees. I am very pleased with them and the lady who schedules the services is very friendly and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
