The technician was so kind. He made me feel less anxious and embarrassed about the fact that I had mice. He showed me how to prevent their coming in and set out bait traps everywhere. I was under the impression that bait traps meant that I'd have dead mice everywhere, but apparently they eat and run, so no mice in sight. It took a few more days to see the end of them, but I haven't seen any since. Will definitely use them again next year (before the mice return).

Matt has been the person that has come years before. I had seen a beetle type bug in my house, and various bugs outside the perimeter of my house. I called, and they happened to be in my area that day. Matt is always nice, and kind. This is not a cheap process, and I thought Matt told me they guarantee 90 days for their service. I was still seeing a good number of various bugs outside, and felt outside needed to be sprayed again. I had left a vm here, and Dave called me today. I did not appreciate how he spoke to me regarding this. He said Matt was wrong regarding the 90 guarantee. He said the 90 day comment was regarding me getting on quarterly service. Then we start talking about what bugs etc, they don't guarantee spiders....I know that! Either way, I should not have any issues what so ever after 2 weeks. $165 is extremely expensive for a house, and it surroundings outside. He did say they would come out, but he was not happy. I don't like being questioned.

I would definitely recommend Scat for all of your pest control needs! They are extremely easy to work with and they make sure to take care of all of your concerns! I have used them several times over the last few years and can honestly say I will never contact anyone else!

I suspected a termite infestation in the rafters of the covered porch at the home where my disabled brother lives. Mark met me at the house for an inspection and found signs of damage to the wood sitting on the concrete walls. He also showed me mud-like tubes on some wood in the basement and explained that these were termite trails. Mark and his assistant showed up on time (in fact, a bit early) and began working right away. They had to drill many holes in the driveway and porch so that they could treat the ground below the concrete next to the foundation in those areas. All of this was explained to me at the time of the estimate a few weeks earlier. The holes were patched nicely and are barely noticeable. They trenched the dirt along the foundation for the remaining portion of the house and saturated it with a water soluble pesticide solution. They did a nice job returning the trenched areas back to their original condition, or at least as much as possible or could be expected. It is too early to know how effective the treatment was, but Mark informed me that it will take about 45 days to fully eradicate the termites. Mark assures me that the odorless chemical that he used has been very effective in eliminating termites. He said the house should be termite free for many years to come. His company has a one year guarantee. Mark and his assistant were very polite, knowledgeable, and explained the process very well. Scat also treated my home in Westfield for spiders in May, 2015. So far that treatment is working fine.

I called and they were able to schedule for the next day which was impressive. We just moved into a new house and it had been vacant for awhile so there were a lot of spiders and beetles etc. I was so glad they could come so quickly. They sprayed inside and out and suggested that we go on a quarterly program. There was a monthly program but he didn't think we'd need it. I appreciate that he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I will continue to use them.

They gave me a lot of information. They were very upfront and honest. They dropped off a bomb so I could do the extermination myself. They informed me the stink bugs would be gone in a matter of three weeks, and they are

We had carpenter ants everywhere. They come out quickly, identified where the nests probably were and sprayed outside. We didn't want them to spray inside due to having a new baby in the house, but the outside treatment worked like a charm. It's been 2 years and no sign of the carpenter ants. *knock on wood*

Things went well - the technician was prompt (a little early even:) and sprayed our exterior and interior for ants - he also checked other things out and said things looked good. There was an Angie's list coupon, but it was only good for 1st time customer. Would have been nice to be able to use it, but not a big deal.

I honestly cannot remember the date of service, but I had left a message with Scat that I needed to schedule our service. This morning, the owner, Mark, called and said he would no longer be servicing our home. Apparently, he said that the technician said that I said that Mark didn't know what he was doing regarding an ant problem that we had last year and he took offense to this. I HAVE NO IDEA what he's talking about. I'm very disappointed as we have been with Scat since the Spring of 2008 or 2007 so at least it's been over 7 years and possibly 8 years!!! Unfortunately, I think there was a lack of professionalism since he hung up on me while I was in mid sentence and I was trying to explain that I didn't know what he was talking about. The whole thing is very disappointing because of how long we've used Scat and because he referred to the technician, Brian, who apparently said this and we've always liked Brian and the service he provided. For a company that has been around for so long, you'd think there would be more professionalism and better ways to handle things than hanging up on a past customer. We have never had a problem with this company until now and they've always been helpful. Honestly, even if I had said, and I didn't, but even if I had said it was the worst company on the planet, I'm the customer and customer's are entitled to opinions. If I took offense to every person that has ever offended me that I have provided my work experience to, I wouldn't have an income.

There are no complaints from my renters, I have not seen the property for myself since they completed the job but I assume the tenants are happy with the work.

Technician arrived on time. He showed me the boxes used and how they work. He showed me the pellets placed in the boxes and how they are locked into the boxes. As our house is on a crawl space, bait was to be placed there. I asked that the pellets be put in the boxes (rather than just thrown under the house like he was planning on doing) because we have small children. He seemed surprised by the request but said that he would. He also put pellets in a storage space above the garage. I asked that these be put in boxes so that if we wanted to store things there that there wouldn't be bait sitting out exposed. He didn't want to do this and just threw some up there.

We were very disappointed he did not even try to come back to get rid of our problem. They sent an employee to take a sample and search the house for a potential area where they would have entered the house. They insisted they were brought in by something. I told him there is a window where they are coming in because I have seen them , but they said that is not the problem. He then told me when i figure out where they are coming in he would come out. The gentleman who came out for the samples was very nice and pleasant as he searched all over the house, and so was the owner when I spoke to him. I guess they just did not want to come out.

They were prompt and on time. Great service. They were able to help with one issue over the phone and didnt charge for their time.

They are excellent to work with. They will come out if you see anything. They do a thorough job. They are respectful. The product has no problems with animals. They come quarterly. The price is excellent. We have been using them for more than 10 years.

Called them and spoke with a very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly person who answered my questions and they subsequently did an inspection at our home right away and discussed pros/cons of the various options then treated an area under our siding where insects had infested. The person applying the treatment was also extremely friendly and professional. The service was very prompt and the price reasonable. We had used them prior with a similar very positive opinion. Will definitely use them again and very highly recommend them to all of our neighbors!

They did a great job, I was very satisfied with the service he was polite and prompt. I highly recommend them.

All went great. We had a hornet's nest in a tree that was about the size of a volleyball. I think I spoke with the owner and he very promptly returned my call, provided me with an estimate over the phone and offered to come out the next day. He provided an overview of what he would do, warned me about avoiding the area and generally told me what to expect. When he came out, he pleasantly answered all questions, explained again what to expect after he sprayed the nest and went to work. It was a great experience and I would definitely hire him again any time.

I called the morning of 8-20-2014 and they came at 2:00 pm and did the walk. He also inspected the whole exteriors and advised me what to look for in the future.

They were excellent. They knew what they were doing and they took care of it and they since did not come back.
