Scat Pest Control

Description of Work: Mark the owner came out and did a termite inspection and altough did not find any termites, did make several preventative recommendations. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He recommended annyal inspections to assure no termte infestation.

Description of Work: Called Scat to investigate what we thought were mouse droppings. They came out the next day, set poison in key areas and gave some great advice of cheap & free things we can do to make our historic home an undesirable place for mice to winter. I really hated to use poison, but he was very careful and responsive to our concerns about our dogs and child.

Description of Work: I called them, based on the ratings on Angie's List. I had some unknown flying bug in the kitchen - have never seen this before. The receptionist decided that I may not need an inspection and transferred me to the owner, Mark. After talking to me, he told me they might not have to come out and charge me. He said to leave a sample on the porch and they would pick it up. They did, and he called back and told me what it was and what to do - no extermination needed. I would have gladly paid for a visit to learn the same info. I'm telling all my friends - this company is amazing. I trust them completely - nothing like the big national brands who are out to sell contracts.

Description of Work: We chose Scat for several reasons...reasonable charge, promptness, professional and friendly personal, guarantee bees would be gone within three days and if not the service man would return at no charge...they were gone within hours. So far have not reappeared.

Description of Work: Daniel came the same day I called and sprayed inside and out for ants. There was no mess and very little smell involved and Daniel was extremely polite and professional. A few days later I found a large ant nest in a pile of mulch a few feet from the house and Daniel came again at no extra charge to spray the mulch. I have not seen an ant anywhere near the house since!

Description of Work: Service personnel had instructions to knock on the door when he arrived so that I could show him where the ants were. He did not do so. After talking with the office, however, they agreed to return without charge to treat the area. They were very cordial and accommodating to set up the return visit.

Description of Work: Company sprayed our home for ants, rolly-pollys and wolf spiders. We have had no sign of any bugs since the visit! The exterminator was very polite and made sure our cat was protected from the treatment spray. Since it was raining at the time of the visit, the exterminator came back later to treat the outside of the house. We have also signed up for a quarterly treatment plan.

Description of Work: We had them spray the exterior and interior of our new home, which is a little over 4,000 square feet, to prevent bugs from coming in over the winter months and to kill any bugs that were there from construction.

Description of Work: I suspected we had brought bed bugs home with us from an Alaskan cruise. From my description over the phone, they didn't think my bite sounded like bed bugs but sent someone over the next morning for no charge. (And no bed bugs were found.)
