Whenever Precision Comfort Systems gets a review that is not perfect, I look forward to researching all the details of our interaction so we can see what we need to change in order to make things as close to perfect as possible. In this case, I was surprised to find no details and no record of the June service or any service in the past. But then it occurred to me that the customer may get back online to read this comment and I hope he does. Here is my suggestion. Regardless of which company did your service work in June, and considering that you mentioned that you will not hire them again, you should call Precision Comfort Systems for your next HVAC service. This would be a great follow-up review for you to write. Let us know. We would love to be your next service provider.

Thank you for the compliment. The “nice” part is mandatory from our Precision Comfort service team. Regarding your loose wire… we fix what’s broke. Sounds like a simple strategy, but some companies use their coupon special for other reasons. I’m sure you’ve seen the TV news crew set up the old “loose wire” sting operation? They simply loosen a wire and then lay in wait until one of the contractors comes running out of the garage yelling, “She’s gonna BLOW! This old system has got to GO!” And then they tell the customer how lucky they were to have called them in the nick of time. Honestly, there are not too many in our business that would do this. But if the sting can find just one, it makes for good TV. Anyway, Precision Comfort Systems is honest. When Kevin diagnosed your system properly, you received all of his technical expertise for a mere $29. Normally, the repair service is an additional charge but a loose wire? …we let that one slide. (Hope the TV cameras were rolling!)

Thank you for the review. Not too many details here so I hope we have the chance to talk with you soon. The good news is you would hire us again. Jerry, our sales rep says that he got your old system repaired immediately on a Friday evening. I trust you were comfortable that weekend until we were able to get you scheduled for Monday. The not so good news is the “B” grade above. Precision Comfort Systems always does “A” grade quality work. If there is anything you are not satisfied with that is related to your new system, we would be happy to learn about this. A “B” grade for price does not concern me quite as much. We know from our research that Precision Comfort Systems offers very competitive pricing, but when your air conditioner unexpectedly fails and it requires a few thousand dollars to replace it, how could any price be worthy of an “A” grade? Now garage sales, where you can pick up a slightly used, hardly bent snow shovel for a buck… that’s my idea of pricing that’s worth an “A”!

Fortunately, we try to minimize your pain by doing two things on a regular basis. First, we stock this part on our truck. A majority of the time we will be able to make this repair in the first trip to save you some money. Second, we install a capacitor that is likely better quality than the one we are replacing. Our goal is to get you back into heating or cooling your home as soon as possible and we do this at a very competitive price. We know this because we check. Thank you again for your review.
