The men who came to our home were very professional. They were on time every day.The job took three days to complete and included plumbing, electrical, and sheetmetal work. The new Water Furnace has worked well. We are pleased with all of the work that was done. The total cost for the job matched the estimate. We feel this company is one of the best contractors we have used.

After getting offers for several companies I went with WaterFurnace from Precision Comfort Systems Inc. Upon writing this review it has been 6 months and the system has been great. I would suggest them to anyone.

I worked at Precision Comfort Systems for about a year. I can tell you from experience this is a top notch HVAC company. They are at the forefront of geothermal repair and installation. There is no other company I'd rather use for any service related to HVAC. Simply the best.

Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day of winter. We called and they said it would be a while for a repairman to come since it was the first cold day and a lot of people were having problems. I was fine with that, my broken furnace shouldn't come before some one else's. However, I was unhappy to find out that the repairman was in fact making routine tune-up appointments before he came to my house. I had to stay at my house and wait for him without heat for eight hours with a 4 month old baby. When he came he worked quickly and found the problem easily. However, because it was after five on a Friday when he arrived, he could not find a replacement part (all the parts stores were closed). He found the part the next day. It was an expensive part and we decided not to invest that much money in a 17 year old furnace. We let him know we would like to buy a new one and he referred us to the sales department. Unfortunately, the sales department was too busy and did not get back with us. Eventually, we got in touch with our repairman and he helped us pick our new equipment. We decided to go ahead and replace the air conditioner as well because you get a price break for doing both at the same time. He came on Sunday to do measurements. They couldn't get us in for the installation until Tuesday. It took all day Tuesday to put in the furnace and then they came back on Wednesday to do the A/C. We are happy with the new furnace and air conditioner. We are overall happy with the experience, just a bit unhappy with the wait times.

They came up with the best comprehensive plan that solved all of my issues. I really liked their professionalism and how they did everything.

Our air conditioner stopped working and I called 4 different companies to assess the problem. Everyone confirmed the air conditioner would need to be replaced. Precision was one of the 4 companies I called and Tom Archer came out to my house within about 2 hours of calling him. Tom was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions and help me weigh my options and the options from his competitors. He was never pushy but instead helped me figure out the best solution to replacing both my AC and Furnace, both of which were the original systems installed in the house 15 years ago. I selected Precision Comfort to replace both the AC and Furnace based on Tom - I liked him and felt he was very honest. Precision was not the highest priced nor were they the cheapeast. They did seem very fair with their prices and were able to provide me with a system I felt was best for our house that wasn't the "top of the line" like two of the others tried to sell me. Precision came out the day after I made up my mind and took two days to finish the job. The installers were also very professional and respectful of my time and house. They took great care during the installation and make sure everything was clean before they left. They also spent time walking my wife through the operation of the system. I have been very happy with the new Carrier AC and Furnace and would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Precision Comfort Systems were very, very, very good. They came out the very day I called them. It was one of the hottest days of the year and our air wasn't working. They worked us in like we were regular customers.

This is a fantastic company to work with. Our AC unit went out in late May, during a spell of 90+ degree weather. I had used Precision Comfort in the past for plumbing, so I called for an estimate. The actual issue we had was that the evaporator coil had gone bad and had developed a major leak. I had several questions about the best path to take (repair, replace only AC, replace AC and furnace). There was never any pressure from either the technical people I spoke to, or the sales people, to do a complete replacement. In fact, everyone assured me that simply repairing the unit would be sufficient. Based on the cost of repair vs replacement, and the fact that the AC was 15+ years old I decided to replace. Just for a sanity check, I called one other contractor (whom I'd used in the past to service the AC at my previous home) for an estimate. They came out, and provide an estimate for the exact unit, at a price of $1000 more than Precision Comfort. When I mention this, they first told me that they provided 10 year labor warranty, which was why they were $1000 more in price. I had already called Precision Comfort, and knew that the price of a 10 year labor warranty was only $275. When I presented the salesman with this data, he instantly dropped his price to match Precision Comfort. That sealed the deal for me. I don't like to play pricing games, so Precision Comfort earned my business. The install, and cleanup was flawless, and the AC is working well. Fast forward to last week. In the middle of several 100+ degree days my other AC system (my home has separate units for the main floor and upstairs) went out. I called my home warranty company who told me that their service company would call within 2 hours. I didn't receive a call by the next morning, so I called back the warranty company. They tried 2 other "approved" providers. One could be out in 5 days, the other 6. Keep in mind, it was 104 that day. I called Precision Comfort at 10am. They had someone out to my home by noon. The unit was fixed in 30 minutes. This company has earned my HVAC business as long as I own a home. I can't recommend them enough.

From start to finish Precision Comfort was very detailed with their work. When under taking such an important and costly home project you want a company that does outstanding quality of work and takes the time to ensure they and you know what work is being done. The team of Precision Comfort was outstanding at installing and upgrading my home's heating/AC system (geothermal/ Water Furnance system) and keeping my informed every step of the way. I use the term team because with Precision Comfort I felt as if I received the experience and knowledge of a team of experts from beginning to end. The installers were all very polite with the lead guy, Craig, being worth his weight in gold in making sure no corners were cut and the job was done with an outstanding level of quality. Before the work began I had three to four different companies come to my home and give me quotes and input about geothermal systems and Precision Comfort was by far the most knowledgeable. Thank you Precision Comfort for your knowledge, experience, workmanship, and value to my family's heating & A/C needs.

They are Geo-thermal specialists. I have a service contract that gives me two calls a year. They are excellent. It is not cheap but it is a technical service and they do a good job.

They gave me several options, like programmable thermostats and otherwise, and they allowed me to choose what it was that I wanted, which I appreciated. They were very quick to install it and they did a very thorough job in explaining to me how to use it.

Spent the time to review our existing system and the house blueprints. Provided quotes with several different options so we could compare the costs of replacing some of our existing equipment and/or upgrading new equipment. Installers worked 3 days to remove the old and install the new. After installation, there was a connection problem and a setting that needed to be adjusted. They were able to come out quickly, at no charge, to make the adjustments. We haven't had a good test of really cold weather yet, but everything seems to be working fine.

Godd sales person helped us pick the right system. Job was flawless, took about a day. installed new duct work as needed. professional, cleaned up after. highly reccommend them.

They did a wonderful job. They were very professional and prompt. They had the best price. They helped us with the rebate. They cleaned up well. They gave very accurate information. We got other quotes. We said the other companies were going to do it a different way and they said they didn't think it would work like that. They did take my linen closet, which I was not thrilled about. It was probably what had to be done to install the new equipment because it was larger than the old equipment.

i was extremely dissatisfied with the company who was servicing my furnace and a/c units beginning in January 2011. Fed-up with being told several different things from several different technicians, and after being told that I had over $1000 worth of "repairs" that needed to be done by that company, I called Precision Comfort Systems and asked them if they could give me a second opinion regarding what I was told needed to be done. I spoke to Tom from Precision and explained several of the difficulties I was experiencing. I expressed to him my frustration with the company I had been using. Tom said his company gives second opinions and would be happy to come out THE NEXT DAY to service our three furnaces. Tom came out and thoroughly inspected the furnaces. He did not find most of the "problems" that the other company found. Tom spent well over 3 1/2 hours inspecting the furnaces and gave me a detailed report of his findings. He did not charge me anything for his services!!! I am extremely happy with Precision and have decided to cancel my maintenance contract with the other company and I signed a year-long maintenance contract with Precision.

I was very impressed with Thomas. He did not put the other company down. He just said that a mistake had been made and that my system was okay and was, in fact, in pretty good shape considering it's age. I plan to transfer my maintenance contract to Precision Comfort.

We had to have our air conditioner and furnace replaced. It was 17 years old so it was time. The experience was great. Jerry, the sales person provided us with some great options. He was easily accesible when we had questions. The work crew came at the exact time that we anticipated. Great job overall. This was not a fun expense but everyone at Precision made the experience a GREAT one.

They are very thorough and are very good. They did an excellent job.

They are very professional. They install really high quality equipment. We highly recommend the geothermal system. The initial cost is expensive but after that the energy bill is much lower.

They performed a comprehensive assessment up front to size and configure the system with complete analysis of savings estimates for the various configurations. We decided to keep our existing propane based system in place as the back-up heat source rather than converting over to complete electric. This was great advice on their part as the back-up system rarely comes on and we get the benefit of the geo system 95+% of the time and did not have to spend extra money to convert the back-up system to electric. I selected Precision Comfort Systems because I could not find a local geo installer who used directional boring technology to lay the lines. I was performing this install on a existing house and did not want to deal with the mess and issues (sprinkler system, driveway, utilities, etc.) of trenching the lines. I was concerned about using a company approximately an hour away (West Lafayette, IN), but it was unfounded. I got a great install that was virtually unnoticable (inside and outside) which is amazing for such a large install in an existing house. The bonus was that they were also the lowest cost estimate I received. They completed their installation professionally working through multiple issues. They prepared the work areas and cleaned-up afterwards. The work was completed in the timeline agreed to up front and at the quoted costs. We now keep our house much warmer (and cooler) than we used to and are saving money doing it. Plus my family loves the almost unlimited supply of hot water from the 85 gal water heater.

We had a 10 am appointment. At 11 am I called and reported to the office. They called back and said serviceman was running late and that he would call when he was getting close to our job. He never called, but showed up at 1 pm. We discussed the geothermal system, he tested flow and recommended no need for acid flush. I discussed how they performed that and was alarmed to hear him say "straight muriatic acid" as we have an open loop system - this is some nasty stuff! So paid the $139 for the service call for the heat pump and paid with a credit card. We then discovered they charged us for the acid flush that did not happen, but after a few phone calls they immediately refunded that amount.

From quote to finish they were outstanding. Took almost 8 hours for them to do an A-1 job installing and cleaning up. Not nessarily the cheapest but the best.
