It’s difficult to be more responsive than a next day response, especially with a popular promotion such as the $29 diagnostic special. But this time, all the Precision Comfort Systems technicians were already promised to other customers for the full day when we first heard from you. Let’s say you purchase the offer for $29, we visit your home, diagnose the problem, we fix the problem on the same visit and the normal charge for the repair is $100. You will only pay $71 because we will deduct the cost of the $29 you already spent! What a great deal!

Description of Work: They diagnosed the problem with my geothermal heat pump and corrected it. They also performed the semi-annual system service. They even came back a day or two later to validate that the system's flow rate and pressure were holding. They are a great bunch of HVAC technicians.

Description of Work: They came to my house the day I called and found the leak in my heat pump. They had the part ordered before the service man left my driveway. They came back and did the repair when part arrived and I now have air condition again! Great job!

Sorry we did not have the part on our truck like we do many times, but as you can imagine, there are a lot of pieces-parts out there. Looking at your job report, Matt and Mike did a great job in a short time considering the problem. Your entire heat pump coil was defective and needed replaced. Ryan discovered the part still had some warranty remaining so we were able to help you in that regard. (Ryan is our secret link to all hidden documents, even if we did not install the system as was the case for you.) Then we expedited the delivery and, as you mentioned, you were soon comfortable again during that hot spell we had. Thank you again for this great report on the entire Precision Comfort Systems Service Department.

For others reading this, the special offer does not include any general maintenance, only the diagnostics. Precision Comfort Systems has a lot of experience in service and this allows us to estimate a job without the wild guessing that we hear rumors about. Description of Work: In 2007 we decided to replace the original gas forced air furnace in our home. It had been installed in 1975. We decided to go with a geothermal system and had several companies give estimates. We decided to go with Precision Comfort Systems. They handled everything from contracting to have the loop trenched to installing the new system to disposing of the old furnace to helping us with all the paperwork for state and federal grants etc. The did a wonderful job and we have continued to use them for maintenance on the system. We are extremely pleased with their service and the Geothermal system they installed.

Thank you for your kind comments. You mentioned that you received several proposals from other contractors. Considering that you chose Precision Comfort Systems, there is an important message in this. I will be the first to agree that competition is tough and I acknowledge that some customers are pleased with some of the work performed by other contractors we see on Angie's List. We enjoy this competition! This makes us better. Unfortunately, finding numerous contractors with good grades makes your decision more difficult. How do you decide who should do your work? My advice is to choose your contractor as you choose your friends. Pick the personality that you like and that you can trust. Each company has a personality. Who owns the company? Is it a very small, one truck shop? ... a large corporation with seemingly endless, too good to be true advertising? Precision Comfort Systems is a medium sized, family owned, honest business. Gary and Howard are the co-owners and they choose every Precision employee with very high expectations. Thank you for choosing Precision Comfort Systems and we are glad that our personality was the one you were looking for.
