water heater repair
 + -1 morecalled for a service call on water heater. they scheduled me a week out. Ok. A fewf days later I called back to say the tank has leaked and element shorted out. I need a new tank. Since they installed it I assumed there was a warranty on it. I asked for a price to install new tank. Receptionist said I needed to talk to a manger/owner and transferred me. I left a vm to call with the price. I NEVER heard back. The plumbers showed up as scheduled. Told me I had no warranty and it would cost me $1800! $1200 for a tank that obviously had no warranty plus 600 for 2 hours work. I had already drained the tank. Then they said I need some kind of pressure tank since I had been on a well 25 years ago. What a crock. Fortunately I ready received a quote from another compnay . It came in at $800. Guess which one I went with.
