They are extremely reliable. They do a good job.

I have used Hoosier for the past three years and in the beginning would have rated them an A however as time has passed the quality of the service has gotten poorer and the price more expensive. I spent thousands over the past three years in lawn care and landscaping maintenance and would have spent more because my yard is important to me. I just noticed that I would keep getting promises from Chip with no follow-up. I got the impression that I was not big enough to matter. Also, his lawn care guys would never mow the back and the sides of the house so we would have to do it ourselves. This would make my husband so angry. The landscaping team was excellent - when they came. For fall raking they would come so late in the season that I would have already done it because I just couldn't stand having the leaves blow into my neighbors yard. I am really sorry to have to write this review because I liked Chip a lot. He is a very nice guy and seems to want to please. He needs to understand that customer service is just that....SERVICE not talk.

My husband called and spoke with Chip, the owner. Chip asked us to measure our lawn and text him the square footage. We did right away, and my husband texted it to him that evening. We waited two weeks but never heard from him. My husband then called their office and left a message. I called the next day and spoke to a receptionist who assured me that she had given Chip the message, and he would call my husband that day. We never heard from him. We lost precious time waiting on this company to respond. We called another company, who came out and did the job within a few days.

Three men arrived around 9:00 am, working hard all day long, only stopping for lunch, and didn't leave until our landscaping was finished, which was about 7:00 pm. Juan and his crew were very nice, cooperative and took the huge task at hand, making our yard a beautiful masterpiece....It will be even more beautiful once the grass takes hold. We were not satisfied with our previous lawn care service so we hired Hoosier Lawn Care for mowing mid-season in 2013. Since the hire, our lawn always looks professional and beautiful, and very reasonably priced for the size of our yard! We wanted a fresh new look for our lawn. We got quotes from several companies, but ended up hiring HLC for our work. We told them what we wanted done, and got some wonderful suggestions on other areas from the owner, Chip. This company has many services....They did our snow removal last winter at a reasonable price, and they shoveled the front porch and sidewalks, which is huge! Their prices are reasonable and competitive. The owner, Chip, Marsha in the office and all the employees we have dealt with are kind, considerate and very knowledgeable about their work at hand. I would highly recommend Hoosier Lawn Care for any service they provide!

Excellent mowing service at reasonable price. Excellent snow removal (shovels walks). Other services (mulching, shrub trimming, pruning) as needed at reasonable price. Fertilizer service provided by subcontractor. Have used this service for approx. 4 years. Talk directly to Chip.

They do a great job

They are good about coming back if you don't feel like the weeds are under control. I have been pleased with them.

Since the grass was knee-high, I contracted with someone else. Shortly after the new service mowed, Hoosier Lawn Care came and mowed, even though it didn't need it and in my messages I repeatedly told him to remove us from his customer list. Even though we told them when they where here not to come back, (they did not speak English), they did show up again, and we told them to leave. I then called Hoosier Lawn, left a message that if they showed up on our property I would call the police. Then he called me. He said he would bill me for the one time. I told him I would not pay sense I repeatedly told him to remove us from his list, and because the lawn did not need mowing at the time. He told us he would file a lien against my property, and see me in court, (this would be for $33.). I told him I would see him there. In about 5 minutes he called me back and said he changed his mind. Perhaps he listened to my past messages where I told him I was an Angie's list member.

I thought they did a really good job. I called and it was done within like 4 days from the original time I talked to them. They didn't leave a mess, cleaned up well.
