poor quality of service. Poor responsiveness and poor follow up.

Did a great job! I've been having problems with rogue morning glories that seeded themselve and they cleaned almost all of the little buggers out of my flower beds!

Poor (at best) - did not perform work according to original schedule - actually needed the work done before a home showing, after multiple calls they said they would do it the Friday before the showing - i came home Friday night around 6:30pm, and found a total disappointment! Work was only 1/3 complete and I had to cancel my dinner plans with family for the evening to do the remainder myself as there was rain forecasted for the weekend. So not only was getting them to get them scheduled a royal pain, they were INCREDIBLY inefficient. I scheduled a similar service last fall through Angie's List (3 hours clean up/labor for $99) and I expected the similar quality and quantity of work - NOT even close. Quality for the small amount they did was acceptable with Greenlawn, but in the 3 hours of labor they indicated they performed, the quantity was a total disappointment - they did approximately 1/3 of the amount of work that was needed and that was performed last year - I was blown away by this level of inefficiency. They only did the front beds, not the side that was connected to the front, and they did NOTHING on the back which was about twice the size of the front. And again, last fall's provider did the ENTIRE area (front and back), AND had all the leaves to remove. The only reason I didn't rate them lower that the lowest was that they at least returned my call where I let them know the extreme level of disappointment. When they called, they said to call them back to see what they could do - in the phone call, they never offered any help, but they defended the work they did and that it took that long. Facts are, neither one of us had a photo of what the front looked like, so they debated the level of clean up required. So, we agreed to disagree and move on - I have to say I'm quite surprised they didn't offer any type of help, or reimbursement, basically they said they sold a lot of these, booked them back to back, and had no flexibility to help me out - my only recourse is to NEVER use them again, and go back to the provider of last year. They did say that based on my feedback they're taking before and after photos now - if I had that, they would be embarrassed by how little their team actually completed. Unfortunately, many of us can't afford to take off work to monitor this type of work, so this is the risk that comes with not being here to supervise. I've seen other deals come thru from Greenlaw by Design - I was interested before I saw who performed the work, but luckily I saw that before I purchased as I would never use them again. According to their comments in my phone call, "you just can't please some customers" - I can tell you one they didn't please for sure!

The company was never heard from after the return phone conversation when a site visit and proposal were promised.

We had some trouble connecting but the follow up and service were very good. The beds look better than I expected.

We scheduled them for a special $99 yard clean up. They were supposed to arrive between 1:00-2:00. At 2:15 we called and were told they were on their way. As of 4:00, they were not here. We called to just cancel the service and received voice mail. That was about 15 minutes ago and they have not responded back. At no time did they contact us to notify us of a scheduling problem. It was a complete waste of my afternoon, as they said someone had to be home. I have better things to do with my time.

Not a lot of details to tell. Beds were overgrown. Provider arrived as scheduled, talked to me to be sure they knew what I wanted, did as much as they could in the hour and a half allotted by the deal, and left. Beds certainly looked a lot better than before the work, but the time was not nearly enough to complete the work needed. Good start, reduced the work I need to do myself, and they did the jobs I requested first, so I'm satisfied.

Two specialist came and provided excellent service. I will use this company again.

It went very well. They did exactly what we asked them to do.

They arrived a little early, but as soon as I arrived home, they immediately got to work. They were able to complete more garden area than I expected. I looked very nice & I've had very little upkeep to do do keep it that way. Workers were very pleasant and helpful.

It did not go so well. The clearing of the area in front of the fence looked ragged. The request that the cutting of overhanging branches and shrubs be done just behind the fence to improve sight lines for exiting the drive and possibly clear a small path to the garden turned into a partial clearcut of two areas behind the fence, which resulted in the elimination of my day lilies and a budding wild rosebush and a reduction of the light and noise barrier between the road and the house. That cutting did not improve the sight lines. The far west end of the fence was almost not touched and I had to remind them about cutting in front of the fence on the far east side. All this extra cutting behind the fence left no time for the requested elimination of poison ivy and little time for the destruction of invasive honeysuckle - which really got going when I finally went out and worked alongside the two guys :-( While most of the cuttings were removed, as advertised, not all of them, so I had to pick up after the workers had left. The workers were personable and willing, but they did not understand what I wanted, although one (if not both) was a native English speaker, as am I.

I purchased a Big Deal with them, and paid for an additional hour of service. I was very pleased with their work, but did have to pay a fee of $40 to haul away the debis from the work they performed.

I was contacted within 24 hour when the manager, Doug Black, stopped by. He was very nice and gave me a date for the work. They arrived the day after the date he mentioned because they had an emergency at a prior job. I was in no hurry. The crew showed up right on time and worked very hard all day including trimming some trees and cutting down one! Then, the mulch crew came and put down the mulch. All debris was taken away, and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm a customer for life!!

I was more than surprised when I got home how much they were able to accomplish! They were very friendly and punctual! I will definitely use them again!

It was a great service, and they left the yard looking great.

The experience has not been very good. They put a spray that had been pulled from the market, because it was killing pine trees, on my pine tree, and they had already put it. At this time the pine tree is still alive, but it was still upsetting at that time. Sometimes they did treatments that were more than what we had agreement. Our normal agreement would be $40 or $50, and they would go ahead and do it, and then they send me bills of over $100. I didn't pay them last time, because they could have killed my pine tree, and I didn't ask them to do that.

They did an excellent job. However, I had a little bit difficult in getting them to quote to do lawn work. I had to call them back repeatedly to try and get them to quote. They didn’t actually give me a quote. They did excellent with multiple snow removal. Actually, I considered them pretty good on price. My driveway is decent sized and I have a 4 car garage. I considered their price just reasonable. I have a gravel driveway and they did push some gravel into my flowerbeds. I just didn’t want them in my flowerbeds. They were out fairly quickly. I would absolutely use them again for the snow removal.

It was fine. They did not charge us anything extra. They were going to charge us for the new part, but they did not have the part so they said we can get it ourselves so they can do it. We just put the new part on ourselves. They were very nice. When they actually did the job, it did not take very long but they had to come back because of that part being broken, but it was a quick thing. They seemed honest and friendly. They did not really do much. I do not have any complaints.

We used them off of a big deal. They showed up with a two man crew, one of the individuals was hardworking but the other one seemed kind of stand around and upon leaving I felt like I still had to go out and do quite a bit of extra cleanup because they basically only had one of the two man work.

I had a little difficulty getting a hold of them initially. I got the work done yesterday but I can't say I had 4 hours of landscaping work done. I haven't called them back. The 2 guys were cordial, very nice and wanted to do a good job. The problem was their power equipment, the hedge trimmer, wasn't working. The guy was using manual hedge clippers, so I don't think they got as much done as they would have.

It cost me $60 per mow, which is why they're not mowing my lawn any more. I have a big yard, but not that big. They did a great job. They were good, they were just expensive. Their service was fine. Their communication was good.

They've been fine. So far, it seems to be effective; the lawn is looking better. They showed up when they said they would. It was all done by e-mail; they came, did the job, and left.

My experience turned out fine. They got the work done without tearing up the lawn nor my brand new driveway and sidewalk. They had to use chains and a pickup truck just to get the bushes out. The owner was able to come out and scope out the job then formulated a plan. The crew really knew what they were doing.

They were good. They actually did it since it is hard to find companies that do the backflow testing.

I spoke with them prior to purchasing the deal to make sure we were on the same page and that what I wanted done was within the scope of the deal. It took them two weeks to come out and all of the new plants I purchased had died. Two men came out and spent two days working. They did provide me with mulch to make up for the difference in cost. I asked them to dig out flower beds, instead they killed the grass and put new mulch down and planted flowers which wasn’t exactly what I wanted. The gentlemen who came out were very nice and courteous but they seemed to take short cuts.
