Came quickly to give quote. A day later we re-thought heights and plan, and they responded quickly and with no complaints. Plan was adjusted and carried out process. Removal of existing debris and fencing was remarkably done and also very quick in 1 day. Fence installation as well as gate took 2-3 days. Fence was well-aligned, only two boards needed adjustment and that was also done quickly and without complaint.

They did an excellent job in a very timely fashion. Good to work with. I would use them again and recommend them.

The work took them about 3 days to complete which wasn't bad. Their price was reasonable and they were very professional. They cleaned up and hauled away all the old debris. They were very good. I would use them again.

I ran into the fence and they came back to repair it. They are very reliable and much cheaper than the estimates I got from 2 other companies.

Project wasn't performed since no one ever arrived for an estimate. No work performed. Scheduled an appointment. Several weeks ahead of time for estimate and no one showed. I had called the business earlier in the week to confirm the scheduled time and still no one showed. When I called to inquire as to where the salesman was they wanted to me reschedule or wait around for an hour or two until someone could get to our property. Obviously I didn't have them come out for an estimate.

Received estimate promptly and was told the job could be done the next week. Mr. Glidden came out to check the site and we expressed our concerns about having our perimeter fence down, and could not go any longer than 2 days to have the new fence put up. He assured me that would not be a problem and they could have our job done by end of the next week. The men arrived and worked continuously throughout the day. They worked through a few rain storms, but got the job done by the end of the week as promised. We're very happy with the work. Fencing looks great and we absolutely will hire them again.

This project could not have gone better! The estimate was done in a professional manner, and they indicated they could start in the next week. They delivered what they promised. The following Monday they placed a string line indicating the location of the fence, and they gave us 24 hours to make small modifications. I added a gate later on, and they allowed it to fit right into the design. Wednesday a crew came out and set the posts. I discussed that I wanted the finished side facing in, and they easily accommodated that request. Friday another crew was in to finish the fence. They had communicated with the post-laying crew and knew exactly what we wanted. The fence is beautiful and safe. This is very high-quality work completed in just over a week (other companies had a six-week turnaround time). Friday evening, I was having conversations with two neighbors over the fence while my son and dog played in the yard. This is just as we had imagined it would be!

Beautiful! I took estimates from several fencing companies and initially did not know exactly what I wanted. Glidden had the most flexibility on when they could come out, the lowest price, a multitude of helpful suggestions, the lowest deposit required and the shortest wait to get onto the schedule. There are tons of fences in this neighborhood that they have installed and I am happy to add my house to the list.

They did a wonderful job of putting it back together. They are very efficient and very good.

Went very well. The end product is gorgeous and the office staff was very helpful. The workers performed their work and cleaned up after themselves.

They were easy to deal with, and we are very pleased with our fence. We did have to call a couple of times to make sure when they were coming next, but nothing too frustrating. They did not honor a 5% discount that we had read about in Angie's List reviews, but did give us a discount for prompt payment. We would definitely recommend them.

It was frustrating because the person that did the estimate and measurements kept drawing it and put the final estimate on something different than what I had told her I wanted. The estimate they gave was $5,500.00.

They came when they said they would. The estimate was right on. The workers were good and the fence looks great.

They had a prompt estimate, fair, and considerably lower than other large companies. They dropped off materials and left an estimate even though I wasn't home. They did tell me several times that they would be out to complete the work, and when I got home, they had not been there, and it took a few phone calls to get them to get the work done in only 2 weeks later than promised. The fence looks great. They were very courteous, and overall, I am pleased.

Due to rainy weather, the fence installation was done once we moved in. The crew was large and efficient and completed the job within a couple days. The fence looks great and was exactly what we asked for!

They didn't offer the style we were looking for.

Sean came out to give me the bid, and suggested that I could get a 6" fence for the price of the 5", since the boards come in 6" lengths. My neighborhood's covenants allow no more than 5", so I went with 5". Those who answered the phone at Glidden were able to get me scheduled immediately after I called to select Glidden to do the job. The other bidder was K & K, and the bids were almost exactly the same, but K & K couldn't come out for a few weeks, so I took the lower bid (only $30 difference) and called Glidden. They came out first to place a string where the fence was proposed, which I ended up moving a little, at their suggestion, to make sure it lined up with the property line. The crew then set the posts in concrete, and came back a few days later (it rained and the concrete needed to set) and put the rest of the fence in by the end of the morning. Friends recommended Glidden, the rating was excellent on Angie's List, and I add my positive comments to both.

Glidden came out to give original estimate, was in line with the other 3 we had revived. Once we decided to go with the company, we needed them to come back out for another estimate because we had some changes and wanted to get a price for a shadow box fence. The estimate they gave us was $6000 for a full fence, 6 foot shadow box. After reading another review, I learned they had asked for and received a 5% discount. We asked for the same and for a discount for paying in full. They agreed to all of this, so we paid $5500. They are putting the fence in this week, I don't foresee any issues, but if there are, I will update my comment.

A representative came by the house to provide us with an estimate for a fence and gate with operator. He was on time, but not prepared. He said he would drop the estimate by our house the next day, however, he never did. We received only a verbal estimate which was much higher than others.

This is the third time I have used this company, because their materials, workmanship and professionalism are excellent.

Overall a good experience with a few minor complaints. Sean did my estimate, on time, professional. I got 5 other estimates, and Glidden was in the middle. They didn't have a coupon from angie's list, but when I told them I was deciding between them and another company that did offer the 5% discount, they matched their lower offer. Put up string line first for my approval of where fence would go. I actually called them back out b/c I wanted to move it a little, which they did no problem. Fence posts and then fence went up as scheduled, nicely done. As I inspected the fence, I noticed 4 boards that did not have the lower nails placed. I also had requested a steel ground lock for both double doors and they only had placed one. I called them and they corrected both problems within 1 week. Overall I'm happy, but it just was a minor hassle that after paying $4,000 I had to have corrections made. Don't forget to ask for the discount, they'll give it even though it's not advertised.

Glidden gave us a competitive bid and installed the fence within a two weeks. The work met all of our expectations.

They came in low on the estimate. The fence looks wonderful.
