I have used this company for 9 years for all my outdoor needs. Rick, the owner, has removed trees, planted trees, mulched, grass cut weekly,spring cleaned, fall clean up, snow removal, trimming of bushes and trees and last year we added fertilizing of the yard and aerating. He is trust worthy, highly motivated and timely and a hard worker. I can not say enough good things about this company. They are wonderful!

This summer will be the 3rd year that we have used Rick?s services for our lawn care. We have come to be very comfortable with Rick?s work. During this time Rick has managed our lawn mowing as well as various other projects including drainage maintenance, gutter cleaning, spring clean-up, and fall clean-up. Rick has also planted many plants and flowers at our request. Our lawn always looks great when he is finished mowing, blowing, and trimming. He puts a lot of focus on quality each time. Rick also brings a very practical approach to his work and does not attempt to over-sale you. If you are in need of a lawn service we would highly recommend Davis Family Lawn Care. Just today (4/11/11) I went out to get my mail and a passing neighbor complimented how good our landscaping looks around our mailbox. Rick just recently completed this project for us and the results were excellent.

They were very professional. They arrived on time, did what was quoted for the price quoted. Rick had very good suggestions as to what would look good. They will be installing a new tree in a couple of weeks. We were very pleased with the work they did.

Very professional and trustworthy kindof person that we default to for that kind of stuff and when we needed snow removal, we chose him because he knew our driveway and thought it would be less of a risk to have someone that was familiar with the area.

He worked alone. He was here one evening 3 hours and the next day another 3. I have a small yard but by doing all the bushes it was quite a bit of work. He did a great job. This was the 1st time I used him and I would use him again. I met him when I got home from work one day. He wanted to start that evening while there was still daylight. He was very friendly and explained how and why he was going to trim the bushes and said they should be trimmed more in the spring. He understood how I wanted particular bushes trimmed. He was receptive to hearing my feedback about what I wanted and did not want. He took out a blue spruce that was dying and recommended I replant one in the spring. I appreciated his knowledge base. He seemed to have a knowledge on the type of bushes I had. His price was very reasonable for all the work he did and the hauling away of all the debris. I offered him large trash bags and he declined and said he would haul it all away and he did just that.

They are prompt and do an excellent job. Rick Davis is very responsive to feedback on the work performed. They are able to perform other services such as mulch and snow removal as well. We have used them for both of those services and they do a great job and are very reliable.

They were prompt, friendly and very low key. They did exactly what they said they would do. They left a bill and trusted me to pay them. They followed up asking if they could do further service and I indicated they could so they came out and did it. I am happy with the work and I would very willingly call on them again.

We have also used Davis Family Lawn Care for regular mowing, mulching, Spring and Fall cleanup, and some landscaping. We have always been very pleased.

Its a small operation and the guy who does the work is friendly, does a through job, and takes his time and is professional. I feel that we have a good relationship and he takes care of the lawn.

In this particular visit (of many), Rick serviced our yard when we were unable to (traveling out of town). It always feels good to come home after traveling and not have to worry about mowing an overgrown lawn. Unlike some of the larger companies, just because we were out of town Rick didn't do the bare minimum. In fact, upon our return, Rick personally followed up with me to give me other landscaping tips such as patching spots where dogs have urinated, how to thicken the grass and get it greener (recommended a second company), tree pruning, mulching, and plant/tree options. Now my yard looks better than ever and I've saved a fair amount of money in the process.

I have been very pleased with the service received from Davis Family Lawn Care. Unlike larger companies with a big crew, the owner, Rick Davis, does most of the work himself. I like knowing who will be at my house each week. He knows what I expect and goes above the call of duty. If he sees that my hedges need to be trimmed or my yard needs to be aerated, he'll bring it to my attention. I like his attention to detail. He trims the yard every week to look as if it's been edged. My neighbors have all asked who mows my lawn. He notices what areas of my yard or landscaping need special attention. This summer, I had a load of heavy rocks delivered to go around our pool in the back yard. Rick saw them laying in the driveway, and offered to haul them to the backyard for me. He has always been reliable. We have never had to call him asking when he would be here. He also plows our driveway in the winter and is very reasonably priced.
