Description of Work: Foundation wall needed rebuilt

Description of Work: Repaired/filled 2 cracks in the basement wall to prevent water from entering through the cracks. One of the cracks was floor to ceiling.

Description of Work: got the 25$ deal through Angie's List but no show and erratic return call. So I had to get another contractor to do the job.

Description of Work: Leveled driveway and filled in large undermining holes.

Description of Work: We were adding an addition onto the back of our existing house. The worked performed for the foundation included excavating for the basement under the home addition. Pouring the footers for the basement walls, installing drainage tile and sump pit, pouring basement walls including tying back into existing home, installing gravel fill and necessary, pouring basement slab as well as water proofing the basement walls. This stage of work included everything from breaking ground to having the basement ready to frame on top of. The basement is a walkout basement which included stepping the walls down to the walkout.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our basement that we wanted to address. After meeting with three other company representatives, I was referred to Custom Concrete for excavating in front of the basement and repairing what the third representative believed was a crack that we could only address from the outside. What we liked about Derek from Custom Concrete is that he spent the time and effort to find out exactly what was causing the leak. He examined the inside walls of the basement closet. Derek next brought our hose to the front of the house and put water at the point where he believed the leak was located. He then put the hose in front of what we believed was a crack in the basement wall. Derek was able replicate the leak we knew we had. He also determined that the 'crack' we had been told was the problem actually didn't extend through the basement wall. Custom Concrete addressed the problem by digging down to the basement foundation and layering three waterproof barriers to the entire side to that basement wall. Derek even covered those areas where we earlier believed a crack existed but hadn't leaked during his evaluation of the problem. Our cost to complete this work was far less than any of the four companies from which we obtained estimates. Some of the 'solutions' posed were estimated at $10,000 or more and would not have solved our problem.

Description of Work: They took out the old front steps, then designed and poured new ones.
