Awesome and better than expected.
Description of Work: Darrel is professional, kind, courteous, honest, and exceptionally fair. We are selling our home and during the initial home listing survey, our seasoned real estate agent discovered several window sills that were rotted and needed repair. Darrel's estimate for the work was much more reasonable than the first contractor who came out at the recommendation of our real estate agent. Furthermore, with his level expertise in this area, he found several other rotted pieces that needed replacing -- which was later confirmed by the home inspector as needing to be fixed -- the first contractor missed those completely. Darrel's careful attention to detail and forthrightness about what did and did not need to be fixed made us certain that he was the man for the job. His first day on the project, he arrived almost an hour earlier than he had promised -- we were tight on time and he was already doing us a big favor agreeing to come at 8 -- we had indicated that earlier the better. He came bright and early, wood already painted (he'd done that at home to save us even more time and to increase the life of the replaced wood!), and had everything set up and ready to go long before he was even supposed to have arrived. He worked continually, diligently, and steadily without even any type of break, and when another real estate agent and home inspector were due at the home earlier than expected, Darrel kicked it into high gear and got things done in record time. This man is not only exceptionally skilled, a true expert in his area, he is everything you would hope for in someone that you invite into your home to work on your personal property. We would most certainly not only have him back to work on anything in our home, current or future, we would highly recommend Darrel to anyone who wants a fabulous job done by a competent, wonderful guy.

Description of Work: We have a storage shed that had developed a couple of leaks in the roof. I contacted Mr. Bowden about putting a new layer of shingles on the shed. He promptly came out and gave us an estimate. We decided to have him do the job. As soon as the weather cleared up he re-shingled the shed. It took him about 1 1/2 days and we were very happy with dealing with him.
