I initially called him because I needed some re-framing done around my windows, and he agreed to stop by to evaluate the job. Unfortunately, after sizing things up, he determined that I should probably have a window company take care of the job. I appreciated his honesty. As long as I had him here, I asked if he could put a frame in for some new french doors. I already had the wood. He did an excellent job at a fair price, and my husband was very happy that he didn't have to worry about it anymore! I found Mr. Bowden to be punctual, honest, fair, and flexible. I would definitely hire him again.

They did a terrific job on cleaning the carpets, but the technician who came out left black rubber marks on the baseboards. I had to spend a fair amount of time cleaning that off. They said they would be sure to cover that point at their weekly staff meeting, but it left me less than satisfied.

Darrell did an excellent job. He provided us with a thorough and reasonable estimate up front. He completed the work timely and with excellent quality. Darrell was very professional and did an overall great job. The materials cost went over his original budget by a very small amount ($15) due to there being more damaged areas than he anticipated. Darrell even offered to not charge us for this overage - an offer we very much appreciated but did not take. I would highly recommend Darrell for any similar projects.

I gave him the numbers to get into my garage so he could take a look at the project. My wife and I bought a door and had it ready for him. He looked up the door on-line and looked at the door itself. He said it would be fine and he would charge by the hour. He said it would only take him 6 hours and he ended up coming and going for 4 days. The garage was fine, but the storm door had the handle put on upside down, he didn't put the weather stripping in, the bottom hydraulic wasn't put on, and we can't even get to the lock. He didn't even clean up after himself. We agreed on a price for 6 hours of work and now he wants to charge me for 12 and he's not even finished with the project. UPDATE 3/24/2011: I spoke with the provider, he said he would only charge me for the 6 hours of work. I'm still not happy with the work, but at least he isn't trying to charge me extra.

I called around 11 and spoke to a nice lady. She said Mr Bowden was at lunch, took my name, and said that he'd call me back. He called around 1:15. After explaining what I needed (4 outside corners) he asked where I lived and told me he wasn't interested (He's in westfield and I live on the southeast side of Fishers) because it was too far away. Sorry, not all jobs are big jobs. Disappointed in the A ratings for average service.

I love Daryl! If I have a little job that I need done then I will call him. He will come over and do it. He is an older gentleman. He is a pastor part time and does home work part time. He was super kind to my kids. He would compliment her. When you are a guy that works outside the home and have a wife and kids at home, you want to be sure who you are having come into your home. Daryl never gives me any reason to caution. I trust him 100%, and that says a lot. He knows what he is doing.

Mr. Bowden arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was professional and did a great job. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

It went very well. He came in the afternoon and installed the mount for the TV. It was quite complicated and he was very particular about doing it correctly. It was a swivel wall mount. The mount is perfect and the door works great. I would call him back in a heartbeat.

He did a great job. He encountered unseasonable weather but still performed the work as requested. He communicated well which is important.

It was over a year ago, but he was excellent. He was thorough from start to finish.

I found Mr. Bowden on Angie's List and called him for an estimate. He came out the same day, sized up the situation and gave me a quote. He was straight forward and said that we could find more problems once he got in there. We set a date, he came out, took it apart and then we discussed the best course of action because there was significant damage behind the siding. He was able to fix everything to my satisfaction in terms of quality and price. He cleaned up and even moved furniture back into place. He also left me extra siding in case I need it somewhere else down the road. From now on I will call this gentleman when I need work done.

I found Bowden to be slow and difficult to work with. He was very expensive. While repairing the interior door, he used my wood clamps and broke them. He installed a front door stop, but it did not solve the problem, as you can still see light at the door edge and this open space lets in the outside cold. He charged for repairing the ceiling light, but he only briefly looked at this problem and stated that he could not fix it.

Well pleased with Mr. Bowden's work. Would have him again if needed.

Mr. Bowden was responsive and puntual. We were not able to talk at length about the specifics of what I wanted done which made it a bit less efficient for him but he was very patient and accomodating. I was comfortable having him in my house when I wasn't there. He even replaced a back doorbell that he realized didn't work at no charge to me. Very kind of him.

Darrel was an excellent craftsman. I felt he did things so they would really last. He had a hard time with the weather, but also let personal things interfere with his coming to work.

It has gone fine. He had to slow down due to the weather, but overall everything has gone well.

Eveything went very well, Mr. Bowden arrived when he said he would, his work is excellent and he went above and beyond by helping us with the woodworking/trim!

Our experience with Mr. Bowden was great. He performed the services that we discussed within an appropriate timeframe. We felt comfortable with him in our home. Overall, great job.

One of the crank-out windows was malfunctioning, and we couldn't crank it closed. He came out right away and spent half a day repairing it. He even went out to a place to replace the part with the same company that had originally put in the window. He was very good and conscientious.

Called and was told they would call back that evening. No call, and called back the following morning. Said he couldn't do the job, but highly recommended another provider. Working with the 'recommended' provider was a nightmare.

Darrel was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. He did quality work. I had no worries leaving him to work on my house with my family while I was away at work.

Went very well. Darrell kept me well informed as he went along and if he found something else that needed to be addressed he always pointed it out and really seemed to want my input.
