Benton Plumbing

Don and his son have always been very friendly, professional and responsive. They plumbed our new house in 2014/15 without issue and have been back a couple of times to add an outdoor faucet and service existing issues. They also ran some natural gas lines for me as well. I've always been very happy with their service.

Very unprofessional. We have had extensive plumbing issues related to our custom built home in which Don Benton had done all the initial plumbing. We have always utilized his service as we figured he had the most knowledge about the system. When he completed work, we paid him. Customarily this was on the spot on day of work. We have never complained about his fees. Recently we have had more issues related to plumbing in our basement. We'd been unable to reach him, and he was unresponsive to messages so we contacted other providers. The other plumbers indicated substandard work and issues. We still trusted Don so we continued to attempt to contact him. When we finally reached him, he abruptly accused us of "not paying your last invoice" and hung up. We cannot obtain any details as to this alleged unpaid invoice. We have no unpaid invoice stub, nor have we been sent any notices of unpaid work, nor have we had any collection notices. Attempts to even find details about any such alleged unpaid work have been unsuccessful, leaving us to conclude that there is no such unpaid invoice. We have paid him thousands of dollars for previous work/labor and thought that we had a reliable trustworthy plumber, so we were mystified as to why he thinks we would all of a sudden not pay a bill when we have already paid him so much (and always promptly). Unfortunately it seems we were misguided in our thought that he was trustworthy and competent. UPDATE: After placing the review for (Don) Benton Plumbing we were contacted by him. We were hoping that a response from him to our attempts to contact him might be a step toward resolution. Were were, and are, prepared to pay in full the amount of the alleged invoice. However, we had been unable to get a response from him, nor had we had any notice in the past. So, our hopes are/were that any contact from him would shed light on the alleged unpaid invoice that he claims. Unfortunately when he did pursue contact with us, he still did not divulge any details about the alleged invoice. His five second message that he left on the phone merely stated that he wants to "sue the p*** out of you people." Despite his attempts at using threat and intimidation, we are still open to an attempt to resolve this conflict cordially We again made effort at contact to obtain details of the invoice which he claims we did not pay. Again, there was no response from him. We are prepared to pay it in full if we are given the opportunity. However, we have had no further contact from him as to details of the invoice. As a helpful suggestion to him, in order to try to prevent further issues of miscommunication, we would suggest that he implement a modern business protocol such as mailed and/or emailed invoice which would help him and his customers in tracking things.

They were there when the said they would be. Very professional, covering the carpet with drop cloths. Removed and disposed of the old water heater. installed new water heater and cleaned up.

We called Benton Plumbing and made an appointment for 2 days after our call. On the day of the appointment, Don arrived on time and replaced the faucets very quickly. He was very friendly and professional. We will definitely call Benton's again for any future plumbing jobs.

Easy to reach by phone, easy to schedule time, came promptly, did the jobs quickly and satisfactorily and at less than half the cost quoted by others.

I thought the pricing was reasonable. I would use him again.
