From the time you speak with Tara for scheduling to the time the work is completed, everything is handled efficiently and professionally. Greg did our most recent work superbly. He is friendly and as a long term employee he really knows what he’s doing. Congratulations to the entire team.

We opted for the 8 hours of Electrical Work Deal they had advertised here on Angie's List. Micah arrived at the expected time, and was very professional. He was attentive as I described the list of projects to him, in priority order, that I had developed. Micah, our electrician for the day, then promptly started his work. I did not expect that he would be able to complete the 8 projects on the list, with time to spare. The only small hiccup ended up being due to an issue with our house. I will definitely call upon Ashpaugh Electric, and specifically Micah, for any future electrician needs!

Dudley was a very knowledgeable and thorough electrician. He was creative in the installation of our ceiling light/fan and chandelier when the pieces didn’t fit right. He took the time to ensure a proper installation. We appreciate the care he took with setting up tarps in each of the rooms the worked in. He was friendly and professional. We would request Dudley for any future electrical work in our home.

From start to finish, a 5 star service. Scheduler on the phone took down information about what need to get done and asked key clarifying questions. Micah, our electrician, showed up first thing in the morning, evaluated our needs, and provided us with options. He then proceeded to install a new dedicated circuit and light extension in our basement, it was perfect! You can’t tell the new additions from the existing wirings. As a matter of fact, we have already started to plan for our next renovation project with Ashpaugh Electric in mind!

Quotes So I got five quotes for my job. I really desired flush mount to make the outlets look like they were built with the house. One quote was ridiculous (what a waste of time for them and me), one was incredibly affordable (but didn't meet my requirements), one was said that while they'd love the work it didn't align with what they do. That left two valid quotes for the job. Ashpaugh came in as the cheaper of the two and was selected. In addition, I was impressed that Ashpaugh was able to do my quote with some pics over email. What a huge time saver. Day of the job. Scheduling was a breeze and I was happy that they could come out so soon. Friday came and Evan showed up. We reviewed the work and there was a bit of confusion as to what he understood the job to be and what was quoted. Evan was incredibly professional. He kindly looked the job over, chatted with his boss and said, "we're in business". Now having understood the job was one thing and then realizing it was something else always leave room for a bit of improvisation. This came in the form of cutting the brick since the tool Evan actually needed hadn't been loaded. No problem, Evan on the job! He clearly has some serious experience and made quick work of it. How it come out? AMAZING!!! To be fully transparent, the work is better than the original work of the builder. I love it, my wife loves it, its literally perfect. Evan was amazing at his job and at improvising on the fly; a true art! I would totally hire Ashlaugh again.

Dudley diagnosed the problem and fixed the situation. Will use again.

Tommy Gidman was my sales/quote person. He was great to work with. Very friendly and patient. He did a terrific job explaining to me how the system would be installed and how it would work once it was complete. He was upfront about when they could do the work since they were experiencing parts shipping delays due to Covid-19. Ashpaugh called and setup the install appointment once they received all the necessary parts. Technician arrived on time and did high quality work and left the project in a clean/organized manner. I would recommend Ashpaugh Electric to my friends.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and Dudley arrived to complete the work. He started with the estimate for the 220 line because he had to collect the information and send it back to the office for them to quote. He completed the other projects easily and to our satisfaction. He kept me updated on what each one would cost before he started it.

It was great. Work was done very quickly and competently. COVID-19 precautions were fully followed by Micah the electrician.

We had an electrical problem after a big storm and power outage. Evan, the Ashpaugh electrician, came on short notice and already had the solution to fix the problem. Evan was one of our electricians on a previous repair. He followed the coronavirus quarantine protocol and was in and out in a good time. We appreciate how responsive and professional Ashpaugh Electric has been when we needed them.

I called for service on Friday and they came Monday - quick response. Dudley was the representative, arrived a few minutes before the promised time slot, and very cordial and professional. He gave me a cost quote before starting any work and explained what was needed to bring work to completion and code. A nice thing they do is send you a text that your service person is in route. This was the first time I have used Ashpaugh and I was very satisfied with the results.

Dudley was very courteous and did a great job in replacing a defective fan with a replacement from the supplier. The cost was $121, which was a fraction of what another provider had quoted. This is the third time I have used Ashpaugh and they are now my preferred electrical service provider.

We highly recommend Brian, Dudley, and Micah at Ashpaugh Electric, Inc. The entire process for this project was easy, smooth, and painless. We contacted Ashpaugh Electric via Angie's List on Wednesday. Brian responded the same day asking for photos of where the work would be done. We provided the photos on Thursday and had a quote for the work by the end of the day. On Friday, we accepted his quote and Brian was able to get fit us in his schedule for Monday morning. On Monday, Dudley and Micah arrived first thing in the morning. They were both professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The work was completed in under 90 minutes. Within an hour of there departure, Brian followed up with an email of the completed work and wanted to ensure all went well. Several items of note I would like to point out: - We prefer transacting over the internet. Brian made this easy for us by doing all the leg work (asking for pictures and such) to provide us with a free quote. The other companies that wanted this project wanted to schedule "estimate" visits for a minor fee ($40-$60) and would only wave the fee if we committed to hiring them. Why pay for them to estimate a simple project when all they would need are photos of the work site? - Dudley and Micah were both personable, easy to get along with, and professional in both in their manners and work. They did an excellent job and did not leave any mess behind.

Service call was great and so was the electrician; Greg. He was on time, courteous and clearly explained how he would go about finding what was wrong. Once he found the problem; he was very clear in what he would do to fix it and the rates. He also showed great respect by wearing booties in the house; which is a must for any contractor that we hire. Definitely will call Ashpaugh again; and hopefully will get Greg to do the work.

They were very professional. Came out to inspect the current fan and see what it was possible to replace it with. Gave me options and associated costs. Chose an option and they were back with the part and did the replacement the next week.

I had some pendant lights to install in my kitchen. They are not meant to be indoor lights so it was complicated and they are really heavy and bulky. Micah and Brian did a great job, from the estimate to cleanup. The lights look great. Thanks!
