This is the second time I've used this plumber. Each time it was an "emergency" and his response was timely, quickly done, and fairly priced.

Their estimate seemed fair and they did a couple of custom touches that others would not have done. After everything was installed it worked good. They past what I expected, the installation was neat and clean and the workmen were very tidy.

They did a good job on the exterior outlets. Those worked fine. We were having trouble with the ones on the inside. It was flickering and we did not know why. They replaced it but it still didn't work. The following day, I had to call someone else who fixed it in a flash. For basic electrical work, I would continue to use their services. They were very professional and punctual. It did take them a while to get here because they were so busy.

During the replacement of the first bathroom fan, Brad found the motor to be in good working order. It was dirty and needed cleaning. Brad offered to remove the motor assembly, clean it, re-install, and test it. He did all and it ran like brand new. Brad did the same with other vent fan, and showed me how to properly complete the job in the future on my own. He easily replaced the broken wall switch. In the end, Brad saved me the cost of 2 new vent fans and the additional cost of replacement.

I had a bad experience with Ashpaugh. They are listed as one of your outstanding providers. The owner came out to give the estimate and he was so professional. He responded right away. He came in and I thought I had never seen anyone so thorough. Then we never got an estimate. He spent a good hour out here. I called a couple of times and he never responded. While he was here, he kept pressing us to give a local church a try and he kept talking about his ratings on Angie's list. I found that a bit heavy handed. That experience was extremely negative.

Brad arrived on time and it only took him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and fix it. He was very professional and responsive.

Shane was excellent. He arrived on time, explained how our request for the work noted above would be done. He walked room to room and discussed each ceiling location and the what would be done in each room. He brought in his equipment and placed "booties" on the ladder feet to keep our carpet clean. He installed the fans without difficulty and gave us an estimate for extra electrical outlets in our garage. My expectations of Ashpaugh Electric based on their reviews were met. I will definitely use them again when electrical services are needed and would highly recommend them.

Replaced Zinsco panel with new, larger, 200 amp breaker panel. This required more space and Shane increased the clearance to accommodate the box. Removed and reinstalled the Generator transfer switch. Moved power meter and installed new grounding including bonding electric, water, and gas lines. These were items required by the current code in the interest of safety. The job was done very professionally and the result is very neat and clean. We are very pleased with the work and the result. Shane & Brian Ashpaugh contacted IPL to disconnect the power lines before the work began and stayed in contact with us until IPL had restored power at then end of the day. We wouldn't hesitate to use Ashpaugh Electric for future electrical work.

Everything with well. I was quite pleased with his performance. Steve went over and beyond the call of duty. I really appreciated the little extra things that he did. He understood what I was going through with a broken arm. Today, you do not find too many workers that are really concerned about the welfare of the customer. His concern spoke volume with me.

We have been using Ashpaugh for many years. Their service is great and their company values(excellent work, service and customer satisfaction) have always been evident. The work they did on this date was to followup on some work they recommended during a full safety check which they had performed the previous summer. We had gotten busy and forgotten to schedule the work, so they contacted us to remind us, which was very appreciated, especially since one of the things we needed was to replace an old smoke detector. Steve, our serviceman, was very friendly yet didn't delay his work by chatting too much. I was able to ask him a couple other questions which he happily answered and let me know what to look for as signs of a problem. He cleaned up after himself - cleaned up the drywall crumbs and the wrappers from the parts he installed. And he double checked the other fixtures to ensure the safety check he had done the previous summer was complete. I have interacted with the owner Brian many times and he is everything you can hope for in a hometown businessman - respect for his employees, respect for his customers, and a true desire to provide a value product.

Ashpaugh Electric responded to our call for service on the same day and the electrician was knowledgeable and helpful in repairing a problem with our ceiling fan. The service produced the results we expected and effort was made to reduce costs to us so we did not need to purchase a new fan. (Another electrician from another company made a service call a few days before and recommended a new fan plus cost of installations as the only solution to the problem.) The electrician from Ashphaugh Electric removed the remote panel and rewired the fan so it would work through our existing wall switch without using the remote. The fan worked perfectly without needing to be replaced. All of the work by Ashpaugh Electric was done carefully along with a complete explanation of the procedures being executed. We appreciated the prompt, courteous service of Ashpaugh Electric as they worked to repair the problem. We will definitely keep Ashpaugh Electric as our electrical company to call when we need an electrician! Excellent work from Ashpaugh Electric.

They came out and determined the outlets weren't working properly. Since we needed the outlets the next day, the made a short term repair and came back later to make a permanent repair. This is a very good electrical contractor that is very thorough! They saved us a lot of grief by checking things out. It couldn't have turned out better!

On time, job well done, no problems.

Service was quick and price reasonable, my only disappointment was waiting 4 days for an appointment while unable to use several outlets normally in constant use--but I suppose that's what comes from using a good service provider in high demand..

I contacted Ashpaugh last fall to get a quote on upgrading the electric from 60 amp to 200 amp service as well as running the required electric service for HVAC on two floors. I only had half the work done this spring and they honored their quote from last fall. From the time I called saying I was ready for the work to be done, Brian kept me informed as he was getting the proper permits and contacting the REMC to get them scheduled. Larry was at the house and went immediately to work. Brain came out within a few minutes of Larry to review the work that was to be done and explaining how it would be done. The first day Larry spent outside the house removing the old exterior wiring, install the new exterior panels and running the main line from the exterior panels to the basement. He also did the fuse box removal. On the second day Larry arrive promptly and immediately went back to work in the basement installing the circuit panel and breakers while the REMC was outside cutting down the existing lines, cutting the trench, installing the new incoming lines and connecting them to the new panel. Both were done within a few minutes of each other. Larry stayed and removed the old line coming down off the roof and down the side of the house when the REMC left without removing them as promised. Brain contacted the REMC and requested the exterior line work and scheduled with them. I didn't have to make or take any calls to the REMC. When the work was completed I received an email with a copy of the bill detailing the work that was done and the final amount due. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work done and the entire experience. I will definitely be calling Ashpaugh when we're ready for the rest of the work to be done.

Wonderful experience! After having several people come out to inspect why our lights were flickering in our home, Ashbaugh came out and actually listened to what I suspected was the problem. The tech took the time to talk with me and instruct me on what was going on in the home. He found the issue (which was our well pump) and even gave me recommendations on who to call to have the problem fixed. It was a great experience. Would definitely recommend to others.

I am having trouble with the ceiling fan, he came in and fixed what he though was the problem and it worked and it ran all summer. When I turned it off in the summer it would not come back on. I do not know if there was something else wrong with it or what. When he was here earlier, he was going to call me to come back and give an estimation to have additional wiring run in my garage and things and he never called back.
