The representative was a man named Dudley - he did an excellent job, he was clean, fast and everything now works fine. I was very satisfied with the work.

Work was exceptional as always.

Dudley was our electrician and he was on time, friendly, professional. Great to talk with. Figured out the problem, fixed it the most economical (and safe!) way for me. Bingo! it works!

Dudley came out and listened to all the issues and quickly went about checking into each problem. After diagnosing these issues, he was able to fix one immediately and had to reschedule the other two because a transformer had to be ordered. He came back out on the scheduled date and fixed the remaining issues.

Dudley arrived, put on shoe protecters, got his own ladder out of the truck, we reviewed the estimate before he started the work. He installed 2 new LED strip lights. He took out 2 keyless lights. Excellent work, very professional, easy to work with.

There was some delay in the beginning, partially due to all the rain made doing the outside work impossible. They completed the minor things at once. Finally they were able to trench and install the service to barn and added 2 outlets and a switch. they had to cross a stone walkway, chain link fence and avoid tree roots. Neat job, raked and made the trench and bedding look very nice. Electrician, Greg, explained everything, told us to mark the path and take photos in case of future work.

Work started fine. Electrician came about 0930 and left by 1500 each day. Several days did not show up. Did not give us the option to keep the face plates (circa 1958 & and priceless for mid century modern homes). When worker did not show up, no replacement was sent out to complete job. Had to wait. Work was spread over 1.5 weeks, expected to take 2-3 days.

The electrician could not have been better. They called hours in advance to tell me he was running behind from a previous job. They called again when he was on his way. He was the nicest man and explained everything he was doing and gave me options on how the work could be completed. I have used them before and will certainly call them again.

They wanted me to sign up for maintenance agreement and stuff like that and they kept sending me emails. After that I began to feel like I was being pushed a little. That was the only issue I had with Ashpaugh. Other than that the installers were really good.

We have used them for many years. The fan was put in by a handyman 25 years ago so there was no outlet and he had to do all that. We are very happy with Ashpaugh for all the work they have done over the past several years. Pricing is also not overly expensive.

All went very well. Electrician was very professional and very helpful. He recommended the best timers for our situation and then efficiently installed them.

they were early! I like that. they assessed the problem, got my permission to fix 2 light switches that were not working correctly. they fixed them quickly. they were in and out in about 30 minutes. Shane and Mark - 2 nice, normal guys.

We had nothing but problems. The came to do a periodic maintenance on our electric and I never got a report. I called them at least 15 times. They called me twice and gave me the same excuse and I have got nothing. Their price was high. I have had them do some work in the past and their quality was good. Only the receptionist calls me back yet I wanted the owner to call me back.

Technician was very good. My issue is entirely about the cost which was outrageous. It was disclosed before I authorized the work but I was upside down before he arrived with $70 trip fee for 4 mile drive from their office. No trip fee credit towards repair. $69 additional to replace one plug; Total charge $139 for a $20 part; 5 minutes of diagnostic and 10 minute repair. I would never use this business again.

Everything was wonderful! From the estimate, to the folks in the office to the electrician who came to do the work, this was an awesome experience. They were punctual, courteous, they cleaned up after themselves. They answered all of my questions and gave me additional information as well. My electrician was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I will be using them in the future for some additional projects. I would definitely recommend using them!

Verbal contracts: beware of promises made. Sloppy work. Rust corrosion found in light switch to the pool light along with a wire barely connected to the terminals causing the GFI to trip constantly (with corrosion off that terminal). The top right cover screw was loose to that light switch as well. No reply from owner regarding structural damage from sloppy drilling. The structural damage in the barn along with the improper wiring taken care of. Regarding the verbal contract, light switch in barn moved a foot back and higher than it was, causing blood on owner's hand trying to find it in the dark. Overall very sloppy work. Beware of verbal promises. Verbally, they were supposed to stay away from the pool plumbing so expensive valves would not become an issue. however, they drove the ground rod within 1 foot of the valve which is now not working properly and no reply from owner regarding this expensive replacement either. The owner and I discussed that it needed to be 5 feet further away from where it was driven in. I repaired the other leak they caused in the plumbing at the 4 way junction to the pump and the other 2 valves need work because of all the leaning when I asked then several times not to lean on it. Now it's leaking and has a flight leaning to the south which has caused the pump to be more at an angle. I spent July 4th weekend killing all the flies they let in from leaving the doors open.

My husband arranged to be off work 7/3 in order to have service, but the appointment was canceled because the electrician was sick. The owner of the company called to apologize which was appropriate. Unfortunately, his words did not equate to improved customer service; e.g. no notice to his staff to avoid this pitfall with us in the future. On 7/24 my husband again took off work to be home for a noon-3 p.m. service window only to be notified that the job ahead of us would take another hour or two to finish so our appointment was canceled. At this point it seems clear that our business isn't needed /wanted by this company and that Ashpaugh Electric may only best serve people who are unemployed or work from home.

My original review was not a good one as we had a miscommunication on price but the owner of Ashpaugh made things right in the end so I cant really complain. The 2nd electrician sent to my house was super nice and did a great job. I would recommend him with A +++ ratings. He found the problem immediately and fixed it right away. Overall the work that was preformed was great, my only advice is to get a clear understanding of what the total charges are going to be.

Brain Ashpaugh assured me I did not need a new circuit box and not only did not charge for the visit, he emailed me the following day and attached a letter stating that I did not need the new circuit box. I am sorry I have no way to attach it here. I believe he is a true professional.

Ashpaugh Electric originally installed the garage attic fan. When I noticed that the fan was not working 1-1/2 years after installation, I contacted Ashpaugh to investigate and repair. The electricians came prepared with a replacement motor, which they installed quickly and efficiently. The repair was done at no charge even though the 1 year warranty had expired.

They have 50 years of experience and certified electricians. They were prompt and patient. They were courteous and kind. They did what I need them to do.
