I called Ashpaugh first thing Monday morning and they were able to get someone to my house by noon. Dudley and Tommy worked until 8 PM to install a new panel. Very professional professional, kept me updated through the process, and did a great job.

The electrician was very conscientious. The quality of his work was good. My only hesitation with the company was with scheduling. I had mentioned that I had two jobs to complete when I scheduled the service call; the electrician was not given enough time to get both jobs done. The scheduler for the company was supposed to have followed up for the second job and never did.

The gentleman who came to my house was professional but wasn't able to give me a quote. He said the owner would email me one. I still haven't heard from them.

Follow up visit today from my new favorite electrician, Dudley. He returned with the parts that had to be ordered to complete the work in my basement. He got the work done efficiently and with no problems. Dudley is always friendly and professional. I told him I was going to nickname him Dudley Do-Right! Ashpaugh is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee. I will definitely call upon them again when electrical work is needed.

The technicians, Dudley and Cole, arrived on time and as promised. The work was done professionally and exactly as we wanted it done. The technicians were very respectful of our home and our property. They completed the work in a timely fashion and explained the work that they did. Once again, Ashpaugh hit a home run with regards to customer service!!

Dudley and Cole were very professional and courteous when they visited. They were able to easily diagnose fix the problem I was having. They even offered separate advise on how I could keep my dogs safer which I really appreciated.

Dudley and Cole were able to troubleshoot and fix many of the issues as they worked through my punch list. The only outstanding issue is due to a faulty appliance, which I'll need to contact the manufacturer to resolve. Dudley also forwarded some pictures to Ashbaugh's design team for a future project I'd like their help with completing. Overall, an outstanding experience. Very pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable team!

Purchased a Angies List deal for this service. This is the first time a company has contacted me to get detail of the service I needed and to set up a time. They discussed up front that there would be an extra charge for an 18 ft. ceiling install. (No surprises). They also offered to text me prior to their arrival. Dudley and Cole arrived within the time frame promised and went right to work. Both men were very professional and friendly. They cleaned up the room when they were finished and took away the old fan. Overall this was an excellent experience. Thanks Ashpaugh!

AWFUL would be an understatement. The guy shows up with another guy and complains about the fact that our house is old. He then interrupts us to make sure to tell us that the rate we paid through Angie's List does not apply after the first hour. He said any time after the one hour would be $45 per hour because there were two of them. First off, we didn't ask for two people to come to our house AND the fact that there were two of them only cost us more while the older guy used our job as a teaching opportunity rather than working on different things at the same time. So, after two hours, they basically installed a couple of switches that my husband could have done himself in 30 minutes. Waste of money- I would NEVER hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

Dudley arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. He explained the work he would do before starting anything to make sure we understood what he was going to do. He also fully explained all charges to us. He did a great job and showed us all the work before taking payment.

My experience so far with Ashpaugh has been that they are very dedicated to providing quality customer service. I had Dudley here today who is an awesome sweet guy! I had purchased an Angie's list deal for two hours of labor. Dudley found that there was a more economical way to complete the project but that the parts were not readily available. Ashpaugh will have Dudley return when the parts are available and try this project again. I was very impressed that he and Ashpaugh are making every effort to save me additional expense. I hired them because of their excellent Angie's list reviews and so far, I would highly recommend them !

Highly recommend Greg and Cole II. They were both extremely professional, and honest. Originally thought it would be a more expensive diagnosis, but when they realized it might not be as complicated as anticipated, they adjusted the price down. Unique to see that honesty and integrity in this day and age. Highly recommend, and will be making an appointment requesting Greg and Cole for them to come back out for additional work.

I’ve used Ashpaugh in the past so they were my first call. I contacted the company, thru their web site, and explained that I had a light pole that had broken off underground and that I was relatively sure that the cabling was not up to code. I wanted someone to come and look at it and give me an estimate to fix the issues. I was contacted by one of their staff and she told me that she could send someone to look at it, but that it would be a trip charge to do so and if we didn’t take care of it then another one to come and actually do the fix. She said that the company didn’t do free estimates. I was a little taken aback, but agreed to have the guy come. But after I thought about it some more I decided that wasn’t right and I canceled. I went searching for another company thru Angie’s List and contacted them. While they were relatively responsive, and highly rated on Angie’s List, I just didn’t get a warm and fuzzy from them and felt like their price was a little high, so I went looking again. The whole thing with Ashpaugh really bothered me as I felt like this was not the company I was used to dealing with and wondered if there was just some miscommunication between me and the employee. So, I perused their web site and it clearly states that they do free estimates so I once again contacted them thru the web site. I very clearly stated the issue and what I wanted and was quickly contacted by one of the staff. They said that they could set up an appointment with an estimator in a couple of weeks; that was agreeable with me. That same day, I received an email from the company saying that there was an estimator in the area and would it be possible for me to meet with him today; I agreed. The estimator showed up on time and we looked at the situation and discussed my options and the specifics of the job. Within a day or two, I had an estimate for the whole job, including the cost of the new pole and light fixture and it was significantly less than my first estimate. I agreed to have them do the job. I had to pay 50% up front. They set a time a couple of weeks out. They had to cancel because of the weather, but rescheduled for the next week. The electrician showed up on time and we briefly went over the plan and he started the job. It took about two hours for him to remove the old pole, trench the yard, install the new wiring, pole and light fixture. He also replaced the junction box that connects the outside wiring to the inside. He did a good job of cleaning up and, while you can see that work was done in the yard, it’s not very noticeable. I’m very happy with the new light and also with knowing that the whole circuit is up to code. Even with the initial bad start, I am glad that I used Ashpaugh for the job and will contact them again should we need more electrical work done. One thing I would suggest is to buy your own fixture. I opted to have Ashpaugh purchase the fixture and pole for me. While I like the looks of the one they selected for me and it’s an energy efficient LED design, I wasn’t super thrilled with how it illuminated the area. Mr. Ashpaugh explained to me the technology and design behind the new type of fixture and I understand and, honestly, I’m not sure that the old one did any better job of illuminating the sidewalk area, but I know that it “appeared” to do a better job than the new one. And even if the light coverage isn’t an issue, you would be selecting a style that fits your tastes.

Dudley arrived on time, took time to assess what needed to be done, and explained everything. Special light bulbs will need to be ordered, and he will return to finish the job. He was courteous and professional.

Dudley was great. This was a serious problem and not easily located but Dudley's experience enabled him to systematically and efficiently search for and resolve the problem. Nice guy too. Would definitely want him back for any future work we might need.

Perfect! They were always very explicit in putting a price to a job. If there was any changes they explained why and how much. I mostly worked with Dudley and he was very sweet, professional, explained everything thoughly. Highly recommend .

It took two and a half hours to do the work. He was very precice in his measurements and very neat. He let me know up front how much he would be able to get done in the 2 hour offer I had purchased and that he may need to go over.

We did have to wait a week for them to return to find problem but realize it was hard to locate and needed more than 1 man to work on.
