EPIC Tree Trimming & Removal

I could not ask for a better result. They were amazing. The event went very well. They accomplished in just over five hours what would have taken me several days even with renting a very high lift at considerable cost. I've cut down a lot of trees myself all without incident so I can typically discern the level of skill of someone with a chainsaw - and know when to run away. Truthfully, this was a very difficult job so my very wise wife encouraged me to hire someone for this one. I'm glad I listened. The tree was 85' high, 70 years old, 46" diameter two feet off the ground and over 3' wide many feet up the trunk. Its limbs were partly over our house, my neighbor's house and completely over our newly roofed shed, The neighborhood high voltage uninsulated power lines ran within a few feet of the back of the tree. Our power service line to the house, the TV cable and internet fiber lines actually all ran through the tree from the pole to the house. They coordinated with the power company to disconnect the power line to avoid damage and they lowered the other cables as much as possible. They also had protective covers for the cables on the ground that could not be disconnected. Since so much of the tree was over structures I believed some potential for damage was possible. I'm pleased and amazed that virtually nothing was damaged. This was a $3,000 job and I was very happy to write the check. They were professional in appearance and behavior, were responsive with scheduling and calls, prompt onsite, presented documented insurance with their quote which was well beyond adequate, were highly skilled and very well equipped with several trucks and large machines onsite. The five-man crew included a professional Arborist, were well organized, worked together effectively, practiced professional-level safety techniques for themselves and those of us watching. It was quickly clear I had made the right choice considering other quotes were both much higher and a little lower. I will definitely recommend them as my first choice to anyone needing the kinds of services they provide. I hope this review helps you make a good choice to use them for your needs.

Jeremy and his crew arrived on time. It was immediately obvious that this group had experience; they were extremely professional and efficient. Each crew member knew their responsibilities and worked together as a TEAM! Very safety-conscience and they completed the tasks well before the estimated time. Their contract rate was extremely fair, half of another quote and very close, but not below, another. It was how comfortable I felt about Jeremy after his initial visit that earned him my contract. I know I made the right decision about hiring EPIC!!!

Crew was GREAT! Professional, polite, and SAFE! They were careful around my deck, and when using the stump grinder so it would not throw debris into my house. I'll have more work in the future, and know exactly who to call! A++

They were on time. Very polite and professional staff that went straight to work. They felled the tree right between two bushes! They devoured that tree and had it cleaned up in 20 minutes. They raked the yard, blew off the street where they chipped and were done. Jeremy is a pleasure to work with and was honest with his opinions of work to be done. Also readily provided copies of insurance forms to us. We will use him again.

It went very well. There were a couple of scheduling problems, but once we got the appointment scheduled, everything went very smoothly.

Excellent company! Crew did the job in two days. You can hardly tell where the trees were and the yard was raked with all leaves and branches removed.

I can't recommend EPIC enough. They were extremely responsive whether it was a call or email. They worked hard, got the job done and cleaned everything up completely. The tree was basically right next to the neighbors yard and I was concerned about stuff getting into their yard, but the gentlemen cleaned everything thoroughly. You really couldn't tell they had been there except for the stump and a bit of sawdust. They will be my first call if/when we ever need tree removal again. So great to deal with a professional, respectful service.

It went very well. Jeremy Smith the owner of Epic tree service is very professional. Along with the written estimate he also provided me with his insurance documents. Jeremy and his crew arrived on time and they got to work right away. He had some heavy duty mats that his crew put down to drive the bucket truck on so the tires would not sink into the ground. They got the tree cut down safely. They ground out the tree stump and they even ground off a few large roots that were sticking up above the surface out several feet from the tree stump. They cleaned up the yard very well and hauled all the debris and wood away. I would hire them again.

Epic was extremely professional and did a great job. They did a great job of informing us of all insurance and licenses they held prior to work. They communicated very well from price to what we needed to do (call 411 for buried lines for trunk grinding) to time line (they were able to move up our tree service as well as communicated well in regards to potential weather delays). They safely removed a large tree in a small area with no place for the tree to safely fall. We didn't go with other quotes to know if the price was good, but it was what we assumed the cost would be (slightly less). We would definitely call them again for future tree trimming projects. They were professional and did a great job from the first call for a quote to the actual job.

Very well. All trees removed and cleaned up without a trace of mess. Didn't like the fact that there was a minimum charge but the price seemed fair.

Great! The yard looks beautiful and there was absolutely no damage done to the plants in the garden below.

Epic Tree Trimming crew was awesome from start to finish. Took care of my trees and cleaned up afterwards to a tee. Very personable group and nice, very reasonable. Would highly recommend.
