RESIDENTIAL SERVICES OF WARSAW

We were considering purchasing a recently remodeled home on a channel on Winona Lake, but due to the age of the home, we wanted a complete inspection. Roger performed the inspection, which resulted in a detailed 40 page report. Many issues were pointed out, but the biggest concern was the foundation. One section of the block wall was missing. The missing block wall was replaced by two large wood girders with steel posts resting on the concrete bases. Since it is unusual for masonary to be supported by wood beams, Roger recommeded having the foundation checked out by a foundation specialist to make sure it was sound. Roger's excellant home inspection helped us decide that, even though the home was in a very desirable area and looked nice, it had too many issues which we were unwilling to accept.
