Rabb Water Systems

Buyer beware** Was sold a water system under false pretenses by the sales rep Jake Faker. He knew I wanted to lower my current water system payment with a fully working system which with Raab’s system our monthly bill doubled with supplies needed to “maintain” their system. After several complaints of it working improperly I was told we were to blame for their system working subpar. We requested to have it removed and our requests were bypassed by a general manager, Rusty. He claimed they had the best system and we must’ve been doing something wrong almost as if I was imagining what I was concerned with (ie making my child take a bath in GRAY WATER w/ a terrible odor.) Now we have several appliances in our home failing from corrosion bc their system has never worked. This company will promise a lot to get you to sign on the dotted line then lack customer service and listen to what any company should go by: the customer is always right. My advice ask how much the water filters are, how much your electricity bill will increase, how many trips to their store to pick up product costs, how much the bill for service calls & parts that break costs, also how much your time is worth sitting on the phone for 20 minutes at a time trying to explain your concerns that are dismissed.

We rent a water softener from Rabb. The salesman was very nice and explained all of our options. We decided to rent the unit at first to see if we liked it. It has done an amazing job and we will possibly be purchasing the unit at the end of our rental agreement. Very good product and service.

When our water softener broke down, we called Rabb. They came on time, saw that our softener system was so old, no parts could be found to fix it. We made plans to have a new one put in. They were professional, friendly, explained what they would do, and did it. When a slight problem occurred after the men left, we called the number given to us for any problems, and they came back within a half hour to fix it. We would use Rabb again and recommend them to our friends.

My system got a 10-year warranty so as far as service they don't charge me anything and for parts I just paid for the filters as I use them. Filters are like $6 a piece and then salt is $6 a bag. They have very good service. The workers are good. They do things the way you asked them to do it. I will use them again.

I have been a customer with Raab Water for over fifiteen (15) years (prior company was Harris Water Conditoning out of Grabill, Indiana) I have always been treated fairly and honestly by the folks at Raab.They have never tried to upsell me and have always been forthright when asked questions about water quality and any info about the unit I currently own. I have moved several times, and have always had them move my equipment and reinstall. They have always made the transition smooth and I have never been without conditioned water timely. I am moving again at the end of March and can update again with a more current assessment on their service quality.

The work was fine. We had used them before and got a new system. We liked the price and liked their service.

On 8/5/12 we contacted the Rabb Water Systems about their water softners. On 8/6/12 Gary McKinney came to our home and showed us the different systems available and how they worked. He tested our water to see what equipment would serve our home. On 8/9/12, Dave March, came to complete the installation of the new softner. Today, 8/17/12, Gary came back as a follow up to be sure everything is working fine and to re-test the water (there is no rust in the water!!!). Both men were very pleasant, thorough, professional and did a great job.

Great service all around from the owners down to the installation guys. All friendly and knowledgeable.

From the time they showed us a catalog to the final installation, we were very satisfied with the quality and representation of this company.
