Fantastic. We had original inspector who missed numerous items and thus we called in Calvin who provided a detailed report. Calvin was able to identify issues and we were then able to get the appropriate action to get them resolved.

Smoothly. We scheduled the inspection months in advance and he was able to meet our scheduling. He has helped up find a local contractor as well. Having purchased several homes and used different inspectors Calvin was the most detailed we have ever used.

Usually most people shun a home inspection when buying a house. They feel it is a waste of time, and on some occasions, a rip-off. You have someone that comes in and spend an hour with a flashlight, and then gives the ok. NOT THIS INSPECTOR! Calvin Bolt arrives on time and ready to thoroughly inspect your house. I found him on Angies list. During his inspection, he pinpointed problems that may or may not seal the deal with our house. He pointed out minor problems that even the simplest do-it-yourselfer can fix, but more importantly, he pointed out major problems with the house, no holds barred. He even fixed a minor problem from turning into a major issue, but ensured me that it has to be repaired immediately. My husband and I are purchasing a foreclosed home, our first home, and I Thank God I found Calvin Bolt. He was there when he said he was going to be, and spent over 4 hours in the house, inspecting every nook and cranny that by law is allowed. He sent a 40 page report to us with all the details. Has anyone ever heard of a 40 page report from a home inspector before? Don't get me wrong, this is not an unlivable, condemned house that he inspected. Any unassuming purchaser would have gladly moved into this property, and forego the inspection. Calvin Bolt is extremely thorough, and when you hire him, he WORKS FOR YOU! I am totally sold on having a house inspection on any house I ever buy in the future, because of Calvin Bolt Home Inspections. He will be the only one I'll ever hire. Calvin Bolt was extremely thorough. We have had a home inspection done before, and all I can say is, Calvin is the inspector you want to hire! He spent almost an entire day at the house, not just a quick run-through or check box list. His report was like a master's thesis! We are so thankful that we had Calvin Bolt inspect our home. He was very honest and his service did not only end with the inspection, but he was more than happy to answer any emails or questions we had up to the actual purchase. He gave us ideas on fixing things and his recommedations were very helpful. He is just an honest guy with a lot of integrity and pride in his work. If we ever move again, we will definitely be hiring Calvin to inspect our home in the future.

Not only advised us of the presence of a minor mold problem, but also pointed out some other deficiencies in another contractor's work, which did not meet code.

Very thorough in the testing process, and very knowledgeable in the subject matter. Professional and reasonably priced. Calvin provided additional information and suggestions about several areas of the dwelling that was extremely helpful.

I called and discussed their home inspection services, basic and the optional (additional cost) inspections and testing services. I contracted for a complete inspection and for the optional services. Learned it would take more than day to do a thorough inspection (compared to the one hour walk through for a higher fee my own Realtor was recommending.). The home inspection was for less money but with the optional inspections and tests this did cost more. What I got was unbelievable detail and depth of the inspection and the completeness of the reports. Items that I'm sure would have been missed had it not been as thorough as Calvin Bolt performed. Then the real test came as the seller had the repairs made. Everything that was supposedly repaired wasn't. Re inspection and then it all started over again and then Re-inspection of their work and the repairs had not been made. At least 8 (or more) times for re inspections. Weeks to get serious safety issues repaired. The reinspections, reports, and those follow-up services were all delivered in the same professional manner and beyond what was promised. Even returned to watch several of the later repairs. The helpfulness provided was truly unbelievable. This has to be the Exemplar of the Home Inspection Industry. I would now never consider purchasing property without a professional inspection but Calvin Bolt delivered more than one could ever expect and exceeding everything that was promised.
